okay lonel Messi is arguably the greatest footballer of all time a legendary career at Barcelona an Incredible World Cup win for his country and also a record eight bendor Awards but what if that never happened what if his entire career was erased from history and instead he started his professional career in 2024 as a 17-year-old Wonder kid in modern-day football would he dominate the next 1520 years just like he did in real life well we are going to answer that question we are starting a new my player crew mode Series where we have rewinded Leon Messi all the way back to 177 years old and we're starting his career today in 2024 now our goal is to try and replicate his legendary career make him the greatest player of all time but this time around we are in control maybe at some point we play for Barcelona maybe we don't we could take Messi to Germany England maybe even Italy the possibilities here are endless we can carve out a new story for this version of Lionel Messi so of course drop a like if you like the sound of that and I say we get right into it now for Messi's first Club in this series where he starts it really could have been anywhere but it only felt right that we start where Messi started in real life in Argentina at his Boyhood Club new's old boys he said before that it's a dream of his to play for them again one day so in this series that is where Messi starts his career at 17 years old in 2024 so officially welcome to the lonel Messi player career mode we did the same type of series with Ronaldo and you guys liked it so we're going to do the same type of series for lonel Messi but it's going to be a little bit different though now in the Ronaldo series we played like maybe four seasons I think in this series we're going to try to play all 15 seasons of career mode so at least 15 years of Messi's career Maybe even longer if mods allow us to go longer so that does mean it's going to be a bit more faster paced and yeah starting at 17 we got a long way to go and also Messi's totals in terms of stats trophies are so insane in real life we're going to try to do that in this series we're going to try to do better than that so eight Bend doors and of course countless goals and assists and trophies we're going to track all of that and see if we can somehow get close or even surpass what Messi did in real life and yeah of course throughout the series we're going to have different face mods to show Messi getting older we got a bunch from him this is the 2006 Messi mod so the youngest we can get but I think at least every season will'll change his face give a new haircut if we can but for now he's just kind of like a starting Wonder kid now speaking of that we're going to get to his starting stats for this series so yeah he's starting at a 76 overall now that is not how good I think Messi is at 17 or was at 17 I don't think he was 76 rated at 17 it's kind of just like a reasonable starting point in a player crew mode where we can upgrade him you know get him up you know have some like progression in the series so I feel like 76 was a decent starting point and there's a lot of room for upgrades but I mean to start he's got decent pace of course decent balance very decent ball control uh finishing free kicks dribbling so he's still very good to start the series though and especially for the Argentinian like he's the second best player on this team already now saying that this team is not the greatest right now especially in this league so this first season might be a bit tough but Messi starts his career as the starting right winger for new's old boys now in terms of how we're going to upgrade Messi in the series we're not using the typical player crew mode like a skill point system so instead we're going to upgrade Messi ourself like each stat individually using mods so for example I think to start we'll do like every we'll do like every two goals is one skill point and then with that one skill point we can do plus one to any attribute we want so if we want to make 66 jumping plus one we can do that we're not restricted by like the player crew mode uh growth system we can mold Messi into the exact player we want and then we can introduce like play Styles later on you know when it gets a bit better basically we have our own upgrade system for this series and it'll change like throughout the series to now before we get into Messi's first game I got to reveal one big twist for this series Messi is not the only player that we have rewinded we have also rewinded Cristiano Ronaldo to 17 years old as well and I've put him at sport thing as a starting Club so Messi Ronaldo both starting at their Boyhood clubs they're both starting at 76 rated so the same age and same rating and it's kind of like a race to who can become the goat as you can see Ronaldo is 17 out sport thing he's 76 rated and throughout these next 15 Seasons there's no doubt there's going to be a rivalry here between Messi and Ronaldo it's just in this universe who could be the better player we're also going to find that out So the plan is we're going to play this first season at new's Old Boys in Argentina and then next year for season 2 Messi will make his first big transfer now that could beat literally anywhere it's not decided yet with your guys' help we're going to decide where should Messi take his talents to now I've seen a lot of comments saying that he needs a sign for Chelsea in this series also to put him in a league he's never played in like the Bundesliga or even Syria and Italy I mean the possibilities once again are endless here so we did definitely got some options so there's been enough talking it's time for Messi's debut his first ever game in his career now the coach is trusting Messi so much that he's actually starting in his first game he's not coming off the bench I mean Messi's got to be the biggest winner kid in the world right now he's already plus one to 77 now because we're not using like the normal player CRI mod stuff he's actually going to grow on his own a little bit but not that much but he is already up 77 so I mean he is growing but okay new old boys play a 433 we got a good Midfield here in Bena but honestly the team is not the greatest and I think they're probably like what I think they're like a mid-tier team in this league especially being only three stars so I don't expect to like win the league just as first year we got to put Messi's name on the map we got to get some European teams interested to want to sign him so first game is versus San Lorenzo away it is time for lonel Messi's professional debut at 17 years old all right so the first game of the series I mean we're going to play all 15 seasons of his career we are going to get through a lot of games but the first game is always very memorable so we are kicked off 17-year-old Messi makes his debut in Argentina this is going to be interesting let's see the first touch see how good he is now he's obviously got the messy like dribbling style so that's going to be a plus from the beginning no matter what his stats are I feel like this team is definitely not the best so we might struggle a lot but we're going to try to make Messi stand out now honestly they might score the first goal here cuz our defense is looking a bit shaky as I say that though there was a good tackle right there I like that I'd say Messi's biggest weakness probably starting the series is strength I think it's like 59 maybe something like that whatever it is it's very low obviously I mean he's 17 so strength is definitely not his strong suit honestly it still it's not but okay this is a good chance Messi's in here Leo Messi in for his first goal defense catching up Messi will shoot and Messi misses his first chance oh that could have been a beautiful start to this series hey he's 17 years old give him a break that's a great ball for my right back down Messi get boys sit in 11th place I mean that's probably where we should be to be honest now in our plus series on that channel we actually started at boa Juniors and I forgot how this league works again I think it's like in stages it's a little bit confusing how like the The League winner is chosen but I mean maybe with Messi we could be in that title race I'm not too confident we'll be in it we're more two goals what can we do in game three versus the first place team we're going to yeah you might notice that Messi is not wearing any actual sponsored boots he's wearing the EA generics they're just white boots that is because Messi does not have a boot deal yet which we're going to do the same thing before like boot deals can give us upgrades in terms of play Styles or even attribute points but going to try to get through all 15 years of Messi's career in this series at least and I mean if at the start we're doing three episodes per season there will be a lot of simming so it's kind of just how it's got to be I mean at times in the series we might get through like entire seasons in one episode now I'm not sure if I should Sim games using the calendar or like show you each and every game I feel like I feel like that would be too many games though we might like Sim using the calendar but I'll show you messy stats so we can see how we did in like maybe five or six games simming like I in 13th Place so it's honestly been not the best start but it's kind of what I expected if we win our next game we'll jump up to like seventh but hey this league has a lot of teams and it's not an 19 I say for this series let's just keep it as it is and now last one when this series is over can you Sim to the end of Messi's career and see what he achieved yes I mean the plan is for us to actually play out all 15 seasons of this series so that would be to where Messi's around like 32 years old but uh then with mods we might be able to go a bit further than that so we could play until he's like 3738 but whether it's playing or simming we will see the end of Messi's career in this series so it's going to be like a full career now today we also have Messi's first upgrade of the series so he currently has six goals scored so that's six skill points so we've used plus two on acceleration plus two to ball control and also plus two to agility I feel like those three stats are very messy likee so I feel like it was a decent first upgrade and that does get messy plus one from 77 to 78 so right now in the league news old boys are sitting in 7th place after 10 games I mean we're only five points off first so that's definitely not that bad now in terms of being that top scorer in the league Messi's currently fifth in scoring in the league so once again for a 17-year-old who just made his debut that's not bad now that brings us to Messi's future here and Messi just said that he's playing out this season then after the season ends we are joining a new team and that'll be around December so we'll be joining a European team probably like midseason and I think today we're going to select our first ever Target Club but there is this recommendation tab where we can see teams that are currently already interested in Messi so we got melier from France we got speia from Italy and also tenie from La Liga so I mean Spain Italy and also France a European teams are starting to take notice in Messi I think though before we actually pick our Target Club let's play a little more see if uh Messi can like you know Garner further transfer interest I mean like we said
