missing out we're looking at kamani Vall he was not a big time recruit coming out of high school we signed with Troy but we were productive in 2022 and 2023 in 2022 and 2023 over 1,000 yards each Prospect so we expect a ramp up period but he's been looking good in training camp he looked good in preseason he's on the 53 man roster he is 23 years old but that doesn't matter for redraft once he starts getting opportunities or if he starts getting opportunities in his way JK Dobbins Gus Edwards these two running backs have a huge injury history and could go down any moment especially JK Dobbins because all of us are aware of that Gus Edwards too that being said Harbaugh likes to run the ball and he likes his guys he signed Hassan H Haskins earlier this week he's on the practice squad right now and he's familiar with him he's another guy that could be competition later on down the road and another running back to look at in this offense but Harbaugh likes to run the rock he likes to have multiple running backs he had two good ones by the way Donovan Edwards Blake corm Blake km's a stud he's with the Rams right now one of the top running backs in the 2024 NFL draft class class of course that he was going to use him Donan Edwards has good pop but likes to use multiple Runners likes to run the clock likes to use the Run game but watching kamani vdal draft Capital ADP per Underdog the Marcus started to sour on him the reason why because there was a beat rider for the Chargers left him off the 53 man roster like week two of the pre season talking about how he did not know if he was going to make the team because he wasn't practicing he wasn't on the field the next week he lets us know that because vital was on the field he was looking good in preseason puts him back in the 53 the market over corrected Big Time vitals on the 53 looks like the rle still the same looking good in pre season if anything that was a blessing because that's going to allow us to get him at a discount he may go and drafted in your basic fantasy league in your home League Draft maybe nobody's drafting him he is like the rb3 on the team you're waiting for injuries injuries are like to happen with this backfield this team's likely going to be weird this season with a new coach with a weird depth chart that being said he's a guy pay attention to he's got good athleticism he's good between the tackles every time we watch him on tape he's doing something good especially in preseason his college tape checks out everything checks out besides him being a late round pick him being back there on the depth chart him coming from a small school everything else is going forward with him he just needs the opportunity but again you look at this range of the draft that's the story behind everybody but the opportunity is likely there due to the injury history of his running backs and he has the athletic upside to get it done you're looking at the draft Capital here in multi-side 8p nfl.com ESPN Yahoo all average together 18th round he's going undrafted in a lot of leagues maybe last pick of your draft you take a stab at him and you realize the lottery ticket if someone goes off on the waiver wire you knowing he's the rb3 there you're likely to drop him to pick that player up he's not going to clog your roster you're not going to play the if game because of that running back who's on waivers looking good or is the next man up on his team you're going to make that move easy without thinking about it that's something too and he's got the upside to help you out he could not be a roster clogger for you if he's behind two running backs those two running backs though likely to go down this year sometime are you willing to put money that both Gus Edwards and JK dobins is going to play a full 17 Game season are you going to put money down on it are you willing to do that probably not kamani viall is going to get opportunity somewhere down the line if not another running back so look at that way and you look at his upside and you're spinning an 18th round draft pick it's okay to do you don't need him because there's other lottery tickets that makes sense you should be going after lottery tickets that you can turn and burn if someone pops off on the waiver wire he's the perfect example of that and you need him cuz you love the talent and he's the lottery
