Scott sheffler $25 million richer uh over the weekend after winning the Tour Championship that pushed a season earnings including bonuses to just over $ 62.3 million the greatest year since Tiger Woods won eight times in 2006 including six in a row in two majors all while dealing with the death of his father now sheffer's eight wins included the Masters The Players Championship an Olympic gold medal and the Tour Championship that enabled him to finally claim the FedEx Cup his seven PGA Tour titles are the most since Woods in 2007 his caddy Ted Scott meanwhile banked more than $6 million this year who I didn't know there was that kind of money in caddying how about that is when your guys making 60 million that's pretty good that's pretty good uh so as far as like Scotty's um you know I'm a casual golf guy I'm not I'm not like big golf guy like GP and like um casual golf guy uh is he we know he's the best in the world right he's obviously the best in the world is he going to ever be the guy a guy that people just like is he must watch TV like tiger we knows must watch TV right that that's when he when he was at the peak of his powers is Scotty ever going to be that I would say like tiger put a couple of years like this together May yeah where you're just undoubtedly great right I mean he's he's he's I wouldn't say must watch TV but he's he's pretty good TV he's good TV yeah so he's he's pretty good and you know you you continue this dominance and that's what made tiger so electric was just his dominance on a week- to week basis right you can continue to dominate week to week and maybe maybe he becomes that guy but I don't know I don't know tiger had that swag too you know and and I I don't know if Scotty's got that although getting arrested was kind I was going to say the mug shot helps a little bit yeah he got the t-shirts I think so too I think so too that was good for him that was good for his C all right the Gary Paris show live weekdays at 10:00 a.m.
