[Applause] [Music] what to do what you want it's just one more day to Arkansas to be both of them we are in Tulsa Oklahoma for the big showoff the big showoff is a contest it's similar to H but it's not on TV um there's been a bunch of participants and now we're down to the final 10 there's MC's there's big production there's judges so we're having this contest and we're putting on the show but the main reason for the entire thing at all is to raise money for the Tulsa day Center I'm opening the show tomorrow and I'm currently quite congested from a cold so hopefully by tomorrow it's better or I can just you know sing through it it's only one song so I think I can manage so we had a sound check SL run through today and we set everything up nothing is broken nothing was left at home like everything's good but during the actual song itself I had one of the biggest looping fails of all [Music] time I have looping fails all of the time but the one that I had a sound check was just like the most nightmarish looping fail you could ever imagine where it's looping of like multiple Loops are happening at the wrong times from each other and I lit I literally couldn't stop it we had to pull the plug on the whole rig please mute the K Channel yeah it was that just means it's going to be awesome and epic tomorrow and everything's going to go amazingly perfectly 100% awesome how do you what do you think the judges would have said had it gone uh like it did today I definitely think they would have been nice they wouldn't have torn you up cuz it was that yeah I think that they would have talked about the other the things that did go well first at least thank you but that's not going to happen so it doesn't [Music] matter that has never happened before well not on stage at Le I mean I mess up by myself when I'm practicing all the time but that specific uh problem and occurrence has literally never happened on that song so today was a lucky special day for all that got to witness that was a once in a lifetime first time failure yeah so I'm really excited for the show hopefully it goes better than soundcheck went but you know we'll just have to see tomorrow hello hello guys welcome thank you so much for being here tonight and for supporting this event means so much my name is Mia Morris and like the video said I'm a looping [Music] artist [Laughter] [Applause] thank you so [Applause] much all right so how did the show go it was great there were no epic looping fails thankfully um and believe it or not I won you you won no it's all right but it was a great weekend great show made some new fans met some new friends and they raised a lot of money so it was a success played the show at the melody in last night I did an artist set and it was incredible how many old friends showed up to the show was really special really sweet [ __ ] you [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] too today we're headed up to Chicago for one more soldout show and I'm going to hop in the van with Ray on the way all right this is how to scream 101 so a lot of people ask me like doesn't your voice hurt not really um High really high pitched whistle tones and uh like full vocal high pitch that hurts like yeah that would be more painful and would be more than like so what's actually happening there is um I don't know if it's the larynx you're squeezing but the the voice box right if you're going to like make a little baby voice when you're doing your you're squeezing and then pushing your air through right so what we're doing is we're controlling the vocal flaps y so if I'm going I'm go from like open throat to slowly close it'll end in like a screaming pitch so [Applause] like same tone so that is how I would describe to to sing without hurting yourself cuz you don't want to you don't want to hurt yourself you don't want to be you don't want to scream incorrectly and again you know if you're if you're doing that and you start to experience pain I would highly recommend you know getting some help from a professional because you don't want to lose [Applause] that uh yeah well thank you thank you for your service welcome to the Cobra [Music] Lounge and he then stuffed her body into a pumpkin and it is there that he kept her very well pretty swaggy dressing room dude show them the toilet the showerer the washer dryer this dressing room is [Music] country song what I tell you under my [Applause] I'm you I [ __ ] hate my I hate my I hate my what to do what you want it's just one more day what to choose what to be and what does it all say
