Walmart Recalls 10,000 Cases of Apple Juice Across America Over Dangerous Arsenic Levels

[Music] Walmart has recalled nearly 10,000 cases of Great Value apple juice due to elevated levels of inorganic arsenic the US Food and Drug Administration FDA announced that this product sold in six packs of 8 oz bottles contained arsenic levels above the allowable limit the recall has been classif ified as Class 2 indicating that exposure to the product may cause temporary or medically reversible health effects with the likelihood of serious consequences being remote the affected apple juice was sold in almost 30 States across the us including Florida New York and Ohio the recall pertains to apple juice packs marked with a best if used by date of December 28th 2024 and the code ct8 9-6 on the bottles inorganic arsenic a known human carcinogen is more toxic than its organic counterpart according to the US Environmental Protection Agency EPA short-term exposure to high levels can cause symptoms like nausea and vomiting while long-term exposure is associated with an increased risk of cancers and cardiovascular diseases the FDA did not report any injuries related to the called juice and has reached out to Walmart for further comment
