know when this was posted says Kentucky State Police investigates shooting incident in Horse Cave Kentucky um this was 8:30 p.m. last night when they resport uh reported they responded to a call in reference to the sound of gunshots units responded to the scene at lnn Turnpike Road in water Road upon arrival in the area units were advised that the suspect had flood into a wooded area nearby perimeter set around the wooded area after hearing gunshots a brief stand off the suspect Nicholas noise 30 years old came out of the woods and was taken into custody of Cecilia Kentucky he was lodged at tar County Jail no injuries and that seems to be it thanks Dalton [Music] so this helicopter seems to be leaving uh where the incident was heading north uh Sandy good morning van Conrad stard do by Wayne County that a male subject had been shot on Barnett Road U the victim was identified as Samuel R white 75 years old of monteo Kentucky preliminary investigation revealed a rebel altercation took place between Samuel white and Willard Upchurch at a logging yard and those were those uh calls that we were listening to of those people arguing at the logging yard um let's see maybe we can schools some of the Christian Schools started back he says having police patrol around schools has given some peace of mind to folks as they work to go back to normal we're we're there to protect you we're there for you and hopefully get them some peace of mind London Christian Academy principal Greg gilin says the London Police Department gave him the information he needed to make the decision to go back back to school their presence on campus was a great comfort major day says finding the suspect Joseph couch is something that has been consistently going on since Saturday night in different wooded areas the search never ceased the ground uh the bodies in in the in the in the woods uh slowed down during that time but you know there were still searches going on the Kentucky State Police the London Police the Laurel County Sheriff's Office the FBI and the ATF have all been working together according to Major day agencies have also been using canines drones thermal imaging devices and helicopters you name it it's it's it's been used and will continue to be used all in an attempt to locate couch we truly want to find this guy and we truly want to bring this uh this situation uh to portion of the Interstate 75 shutdown following a deadly crash it happened in the Northbound Lanes at the 21 Mile Marker the inter state is closed at exit 15 according to the Emergency Management
