Harrison Burton On His Mom's Emotions While Watching Him Race

yeah it's kind of normal um but it was not like that when my dad was racing she was never that wound up when my dad was racing i sat on the pitboxer plenty of times and yeah she would get nervous and excited and they would show her whenever he was passing for lee you know pumping her fists and stuff but um you know she's she is pretty uh she i don't know if it's that she's not afraid i just think she can't control like she cannot not show her emotions she can't hide it yeah no and uh that's okay that's who she is and she's uh you know she's she is who she is and and we love her for it and uh you never have any question if she's supporting you right so never it's uh it's a it's a funny thing for me to go back and watch i think a lot of people get a little too riled up about it uh yeah but she she likes to try and hide from the camera so for her sake i'll say that she doesn't like it when they put the camera on her but i kind of do like it i like watching her squirm a little bit you're her baby that's right and uh and you know i'll give her a break too she came up watching my dad in an area that was pretty dangerous and uh and she's you know been around for some rough things that have happened unfortunately and i think that kind of sticks with her you know i'm seriously just talking candidly because i don't really know i've never talked about it with her i don't know just but just observing from the outside in you know she's probably been around some rough crashes and some injuries and uh just knowing who she is as a person she's a she's a kind of a worrying person and so that is probably in the back of her head really and so i feel really bad for her i feel like i put her through a lot of stress but she's a supportive all the way and and i'm really thankful for that no that's a really great point especially you know your dad was at the forefront of a lot of different safety advancements as you know so i think that's definitely a a very good point that you make there
