successful season for the what can't stop they just can't stop any the buffalo versus the Bison yeah right or is it bison the plural I don't know you know what who cares they lost they don't they I don't have to know their name now they lost I think a lot of people were shocked at how good North Dakota state was can I tell you why I wasn't uh someone brought it to my attention prior to the game betting wise that the last time uh well not even the last time the last couple of times in regards to covering the spread they were six and 0 against um top ranked teams and uh I think straight up they were five and one so I know no they they won six last seven against um against FBS schools there you go that was a stat that I was like okay so this isn't just like some like for example I watched yesterday uh Arkansas versus Arkansas Pine Bluff and when I tell you that uh it was 49-0 by halftime and the game ended 70 to zero I felt like I was watching uh Arkansas against Kaiser University by the end of it it just right right it was great to watch just because it was like highlight after highlight but I was like o these guys are getting pummeled but you know what it does like kids who are coming out of high school and looking at some of these schools yeah they looking at a school like North Dakota State say not a bad option absolutely absolutely uh I don't need a D1 school look at there's guys getting drafted out uh out of North Dakota State and obviously not a first round pick I think uh Armstead if I'm not mistaken I think Arkansas Pine Bluff yeah so you know it could and as we all know Mr Deion Sanders Prime Time son shadur shadur that right now I don't know where um Hunter yeah is gonna get drafted like what position I'm still trying to figure out what position he play because he play football and you know we've seen that with SH Otani uh to the last person that did it lot yeah was Deion Sanders exactly Prime well he didn't do it as much as Hunter's doing it yeah no Hunter is he's out there the whole game you don't know if he's a better wide receiver or a better corner you know honestly based off he'll have a performance like yesterday and you're like 100% he needs to be a wide receiver coming out of the draft well keep in mind they don't throw at him that's and then they'll have another game well he'll shut down the best receiver and you're like well this guy needs to be in corner right no way no way though uh and tell me if you agree I mean you wouldn't even let a Long Snapper be the normal Center no way he does that in the NFL though right um I times have changed man but he'd be too valuable of an asset there's no position to run him into the ground that's what I'm saying like he wouldn't be able to do it I'm sure he'd have the capabilities I'm sure Lamar Jackson has a capabilities to play running back or wi no but but there's a difference though yeah Lamar Jackson could do it could play wide receiver but he didn't uh Hunter is doing it yeah know I feel you see saying for sure that's a that's a big difference like they say hey this outfielder has a strong arm I wonder he could probably pitch show tiny is doing it yeah and so to to to to make the assumption that somebody's a great athlete and can do a lot of different things versus seeing somebody actually doing it it's two different things yeah no you're 100% right and and it's it's hard to even think of another example because I'm thinking of well Debo Samuel runs the ball from the back field and also catches passes offensive things yeah last there was a Heisman trophy finalist yeah back in the day I think his name was he played for Holy Cross lock lock bomb lock bomb lock lock bomb I think was his like Gordy was it Gordy lock bomb B I'm not I can't think of his name but he you said he played for who holy no a standout two-way player wow in division one football gez y he played both ways and he was a finalist for the Heisman wow okay what uh I mean figure out like when doing he was doing this in the 80s so you know there were some players out there but that was when that was um that was when I was in college so that's half wide receiver on offense cornerback on defense and excelled as a kick returner what yeah the only other guy that now now now here's a kicker yeah now here's a guy who didn't play the position he played in college and is a Hall of Famer huh Brian eracer oh you know in college Brian eracer was a safety and a punt returner punt return what was his 40 because I don't know I don't know I don't if I'm being honest Brian eracer is one of the uh I think he went to Utah or Utah State yeah he did because he's one of the first people they give you uh actually he played uh New Mexico New Mexico so look look at his his college he play safety and P Turner is the one that really because you can be kind of slow at safety I've seen that but he had a four oh my God okay he had a he ran a four five I didn't realize that yeah okay yeah so so it it's it's like it depends on where you go because for some reason they saw him as a linebacker from the get-go yeah you see what I'm saying that doesn't always work because you have so for example uh I want to say hin Ward was a quarterback D his entire yeah or it was either hin Ward I think at Georgia and Randall L was a quarterback at Indiana yeah and they played but playing wide going from quarterback and wide receiver because um who's the the uh slot guy for um with Tom Brady he was Edelman was I think Edelman was a quarterback see but are these like are these guys that played quarterback or were they like quarterback you know like right right yeah they played quarterback that's what I'm saying like thiser eracer was yeah a safety and a punt returner it's going to go down to like what your team like for example if Travis hunter gets drafted to a team that has a good wide receiver recruit they'll probably be like he's a corner but if he gets drafted to a team that's lacking in that area then all they might use him right now what if for example you're able in free agency from year one to year two to pick up a better receiving core and you decide you know what we're kind of low on Corner why don't we switch him over to corner I think that he's too good of a player to be moving him around like a utility guy yeah so it put it this way if he becomes your starting corner right he may have a couple of plays where he plays wide receiver but he going to concentrate on Corner because it's hard to play Corner in the NFL conversely if he comes in and they want to play him at wi receiver he could still play some nickel stuff on defense but he's going to concentrate on wide receiver and it just depends on you know what he wants how they want to use him what they agree upon you you know what I mean but he ain't gonna play 100 plus plays a game like he does now uh yesterday he had seven receptions for 132 yards with three receiving touchdowns uh and they needed every bit of it every B three tackles to be honest like you know like you said they're not gonna throw his way but he's still finding a way to make some tackles right and the thing is is that I saw make some good def them as a unit make make some good defensive plays but then they get gashed now think about this think about this if you getting gashed by North Dakota State yeah what happens if you play a team like Alabama n i mean you see what I'm saying so that's where that's where what happens if you play a team you know like big one of them big Midwestern teams you know that that that run the ball yeah for sure even what I saw yesterday again I know they played against kaija University but Arkansas being an SEC team Bobby patrino there uh the quarterback that they have now I think he you know runs like a 4 five or something like that 44 they have a he's six foot tall even seeing how much bigger they were than that other team at at certain points Colorado just seems like they're you know they're good but like you know there's levels to this bro there there's people who have been doing this with Dion has been doing in Colorado for the past couple years they've been doing this since the 90s you know right exactly so to try to catch up in a couple years it's remarkable what he's been able to do and he's probably going to go at a faster Pace than those before State near success they've had yeah against D1 teams but the fact that Colorado got 41 players from the transfer portal oh yeah I mean you heard they got rid of 52 guys and got 41 guys in the transfer breaking through our chat apparently because they wouldn't shut up about it while we were on commercial break the whole time breaking news Jeff Darlington reports Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel has signed a new contract that extends him through the 2028 season under McDaniel the Dolphins had the top ranked offense in the NFL in 2023 first time since 1994 they also had their first back-to-back playoff appearances in 23 years Jeff writes I'm told McDaniel has an especially strong working relationship with Chris Greer Tom garfinkle and cap Guru Brandon Shore it's a type of cohesive group that owner Steve Ross covets playoff wins are obviously the final piece of the puzzle but the organization believes McDaniel is the coach to lead them there um I like I like what the organization is doing okay yeah um and and basically what they did is this they pulled a let's let's extend him now before it gets too expensive yeah Essen um and and and and see and here's the thing it's amazing how we look at these coaches and these players and not even give them an opportunity to grow and learn on the job Mike m Daniel has been a coach this is third year he's been an NFL coach for three years so he's not going to be the best version of of himself hell look around you know Andy Reid used to coach in Philadelphia and they ran him out of town you know straight NFC Championship you know Bill bellich used to coach in Cleveland ran him out of town wait you know some might say the greatest coach and Don Schuler got ran out of Indianapolis yeah true so for everybody to just make these claims that soon as you get the job you are supposed to be the best version of yourself is ridiculous because I would challenge I would like to go to your job the first day you walked in and put those same type of Demands on you and your first comment would be uh I just got here this this my first week right how many times have you called a place or gone into a place of business and they go well hold on a second I you know I'm I'm n yeah but yet these same people can't understand yes you can be an excellent football coach yeah but being a head coach is a little different you see Angry for a guy that that you just got an extension why are you angry who me yeah you see Ang I'm not angry he got the like you people almost ran him out of town no but I'm just saying like just think of like what you hear about Mike oh he can't do this he can't been a head coach for two years no that is a point that people do forget like they forget like he just became a head coach just became a head coach and so yes and and guess what and don't think that I've Exempted him from criticism I haven't I have said listen I understand this he's been a coach for two years a head coach for two years um and he needs to make better adjustments coming out in the second half I've said that because the better teams with more established organizations with more established coaches with more established head coaches right are making adjustments at halftime and he doesn't have an answer and so they usually always start off great and then in the second half slow down those are the things that you have to fix those are the things that come with being a coach and you learn how to do these things but to say oh he hasn't done this he hasn't done that really often does it happen how I'm seeing I'm seeing mix reactions now there are people who are saying and I rightfully so uh Almo right here in the chat good to see the Heat and dolphins have a coaching identity for the foreseeable future that is good to know that you know it's organization if when you think about let's think about the three most successful organizations down here as of now yeah right and I'm not including the Marlins even though they have more championships than adult just stop stop with that don't bring that to me I'm talking about right now and they all have one thing in common from the top to the bottom everybody is on the same page everybody there's not a bunch of turnar around turnover they don't change coaches every two seconds people aren't in and out they are trying to build something consistent and and and build on a future in a consistent organization you see when the Panthers did it with the players and the coach and the ownership and the GM how that worked out the Heat have are the first they've had it for a number of years just a consistency they've had two people run this team and the other person that run is still in the organization before Pat Riley the only person that's not there is um who's the uh he does TV now Van Gundy Van Gundy yeah okay but the consistency that runs from the top to the bottom of the organization they do it now with the heat the heat are the best at it they've done it for years um now you're looking at the Panthers and now look at the Dolphins okay when you have that consistency you have that continuity from the top to the bottom that means that the relationships the relationships that you have when something needs to get fixed you can go in there and leave your ego at the door and y'all can come together and fix it yeah it's good to see that they've done it at the coaching level and you know Chris career has been there forever obviously it's at the management level but this offseason alone they've extended to Wadd Tyreek Raheem right uh you know they've given deals to people to try to establish that consistency you know from the top to the bottom so right I tell you what St Ross is doing his job stepen Ross you said it that guy's he's busting out the the bank rooll and making sure they goes to the right people right so seph wils should should have kept yeah hey you know yeah that's my guy keps that's my guy um and and to be honest with you that is a kind of wait and see kind of thing because if they struggle defensively then we can say probably should have gave book some money right but but if it works out then we good now it's going to be a little little difficult in the beginning because you're not going to have your whole compliment of pass rushers and and I have a feeling that they are gonna make a conscious effort whoever they play to run the football and and here's why here's why the Dolphins have to be excellent at stopping the Run if you run the ball well you eat the clock you eat the clock you keep that high powered offense joined at the hip and which I pointed out to stun Steve hopefully the good hip hopefully the good he uh he had last year's number one ranked offense first time have done that since 1994 and they also had their first back-to-back playoff appearances in 20 three years see if they've updated to see if any Financial details have come out from this um it says he will be making a bajillion dollars this uh upcoming season so that is cool looking for more details uh on the exact specifics of it but what do you think Leroy you think he's gonna buy another watch you know that was his big I think I think he already I think he already has everything now it's just a matter of coaching right he has the nice shades he has a nice watch because you know coaches don't get signed in bonuses you just get extended so it's a good story though you know he goes from Broncos ball boy to one of the highest paid coaches in the league so I mean it's not that he didn't earn it you know what I'm saying tot did totally did so uh mixed reviews you know uh a lot of people prior but I don't but I don't but I don't understand why you know like people say don't extend him unless he win a Super Bowl you never have until after this season before we do it but then I can understand where I know you'd say well that that price goes up then you know yeah like I don't like it it it has him extending a coach yeah has no effect on any anything monetarily from the team and just because you get extended don't mean you can't get fired like I don't understand what the problem is you see what I mean like you can still fire your coach the last coach Flores got fired with years left on his contract so what are we talking about it's not like the players the players get cut you get nothing you don't get your you can sign a 10-year contract and soon as that signing bonus they can take the hit off of that they can cut you you don't get another Penny of it so now does Javon Hollin see this and was like what the hell the coach get the coach getting signed has nothing to do with his money nothing so you don't think nothing to do with salary cap it has nothing to do with any of that but I will say this yeah as soon as the the the as soon as the roster gets settled in so they might have to bring an offensive lineman or defensive lineman in so they probably have a few million that they're going to see as soon as that's taken care of they're going to go to him and sign him to a deal but first and foremost they have to figure out after the first couple of weeks we better get some some help here we better get defense while we was concentrating on momes and not having no receivers the defense was locking everybody down so like yeah having Patrick Mahomes was great but last year you tip your cap to that like an organization has to take in account all the injuries fans do not yeah right so so I would say if they're healthy going into the end of the year and then have the same results it better be a good reason right yeah one that's not his you know it has to be right crazy but nonetheless I mean Cort see I learned a long time ago Sports is crazy yeah like you could play the best game of your recent stopping grounds over there in San Francisco Brandon auk has decided that they are better together than they are apart he agreed to a four-year deal on Thursday evening worth up to 120 million 76 million guaranteed for multiple reports so he has decided to stay home in San Fran further bolstering the 49ers chance at exiting the NFC Championship again this year Victorious couple other things I wanted to touch here Leroy the Florida Panthers going to be a lot easier to watch next year do you know where that is going to be my friend as they are no longer with b um aren't they on like Channel 39 or something they are indeed they are on Channel 39 that is going to be easily accessible in South Florida wsfl TV and if you're in West Palm that is channel n um so that's definitely something that they had uh wanted to move away from seems everyone is moving away from from the B system that they had utilized recently no longer will you have to jump through these hoops or determine which ball is it on what I hated most was coming to the studio and thinking that I have the right B on and then the Tampa Bay Rays are yes that's crazy really one of the worst things that I had to deal with but uh local broadcast return but the national TV this is the news that came out we're still getting hated on apparently they'll get a lot of uh National exposure but it won't it won't be up until I'll say what I believe it's two months four more games are scheduled to be streamed only by ESPN and we have 12 appearances on national TV but being the champion you think we'd have a little bit more that's actually fewer than 13 other teams yeah but but a lot of that has to do with Market too well okay the Panthers but you know I understand the market sucks but like I mean whatever we're we're the best we're the winners dude and you saw that parade we were there and R but it's all about them trying to make money and people watching the games I get it's unacceptable that the Champions don't make their first appearance on TNT until over two months into the season it's unacceptable well that's I mean that's not the NHL that's TNT TN Turner bought a product and they determine what product they want to show now if you're a if you're a player look at the money that that contract is and then or how much how big of a deal are you gonna make of it when it's gonna raise all your money makes sense but Minnesota Pittsburgh Chicago Philly all these teams have more Chicago Philly minnesot and and go go figures in hockey States but they didn't make the playoffs okay flex and figure out how the hell we can get more National TV love I mean who's more entertaining than the Florida Panthers I know we lost some entertaining pieces but we still got a majority of our talking about the controversial rise and fall of none other than Vince McMahon uh it set a debut on September 25th the series titled Mr McMahon will consist of six one-hour episodes it's going to Chronicle the rise and fall of Vince McMahon the controversial businessman and co-founder of WWE from his transformation of WWE from a small Regional business into a global entertainment Powerhouse and all the way to the explosive sexual misconduct allegations so uh is that something that tickles your fancy Leroy no no you have no interest in that never not a wrestling because here's well it's not that is that fancy not tickled I don't care you know about the rise and fall We rise we fall right that's just the nature of it you deal with it like you make mist you do stupid stuff especially I don't want to see the rise and fall of a guy who was always a showman so he probably got too too you know too big for his Brites thought he could be Untouchable there's guys out there who think you can't do nothing to me I won't mention no names but right so and I don't care about that story I would rather not be you know what I mean we got guys filled in jail with with Rich guys who thought that they could do whatever they want because they could get away with it or they wouldn't be get in trouble so I'm good well the goal behind this docu series apparently is to pull back the curtain to reveal the true Vince McMahon obscured beneath the Persona he presented to the world so apparently this has uh gone over four years of production and the story is evolved in truly shocking ways uh the final product is revealing documentary is a revealing documentary that we believe offers a rich and nuanced portrait man and the complex Legacy he left behind gotta say though since uh he has made Triple H head of creative the business has thrived in ways that it hasn't since the early 90s and you know was definitely different times it was the times when Jerry Springer was above Oprah you know in regards to what kind was really selling back then you know uh tell you what though that's something that I'd be interested in watching we got about 26 days or so until that releases on Netflix uh and on this show specifically you got about two to six minutes worth of commercials before we come back we are going to uh give you Leroy I want your opinion on this list top five double dip returns hasn't done anything yet but man I love his voice oh and and well and he's played a majority of his career outside of so he's I don't you just mentioned him but he haven't done nothing I thought you said best players yeah I did you know but he's he's mention he has not played one play Mighty football I'm already once dude it's honorable it's a mention just a mention easy honorable mention was like he couldn't make crack the top five because they were really good not just mentioning his name is not iron B men being honest he is at the bottom of my honorable mention list not sure if he's cracking the top nine but another honorable mention I have here Jaylen Phillips another person who he's done good he's done good for sure and I think when it's all said and done he will he will easily be on there and he's meating science like jayf said so but unfortunately we still gotta wait and see maybe we'll have an opportunity uh dates house says Brock Berlin that's a different list buddy that's a different list we're talking list we're doing it hey keep your list to yourself yeah absolutely not making uh the list is the top hurricanes and Gators to play for the Miami Dolphins okay continuing on with the honorable mentions I'm gonna put this one leis Oliver yep Lewis Oliver pretty solid career he played uh about nine Seasons with the Miami Dolphins I play I played against I played against leis big boy big boy playing absolutely big hitter big hitter for sure definitely do remember that solid reference but uh unfortunately he couldn't crack the top five the final on the list Channing Crowder Channing Crowder our boy Channing fortunately had a great serviceable career cut short by recording this wait yeah why you say serviceable serviceable career indeed I love how that's like the one thing he noticed yep serviceable career uh like this article mentioned career Cuts short by uh by injuries I mean you've seen the man walk around I call him old knocky uh but unfortunately didn't crack this top list no matter how many heads he may have cracked in his NFL career time now to get to number five number five is GNA go to Olivier Vernon okay Vernon is he still in New York no I think he's retired by now if yeah fun fact saw him in Columbia one time Olivier Bernie just walking through the streets no one bothering him of course because who would recognize Kane's Legend o uh let's see former yeah no he's no longer in the league for sure uh former defensive end outside line yeah we want remember he uh secured that big contract for New York yeah and then he also apparently played some time with uh Cleveland you remember him in Cleland remember that was 2020 apparently but yeah no longer in the league solid career had a good Miami Dolphin stinch as well number four I got Vernon KY Vernon KY offensive lineman uh drafted in 2004 with the 19th pick Vernon Carrey if I had to describe him in three words it's a giant yeah another big Bo pretty much it's a giant huge human being uh continuing on with the list number three Lamar Miller got Lamar Miller on there Leroy got Lamar Miller at number three I think my boy Lamar Miller was slept on I'm not gonna lie to you I think he was slept on not a fan of that one no I'm like do you want to hear Olivier Vernon yeah yeah I feel like Olivier Vernon kind kind of used us and abused us I'm not going to lie to you I feel like he got his big you know he had a couple good seasons and then was like all right well I'm out of here pay him huh that's not his fault no I mean it's not but I felt used and abused like when you went to the Giants did you think like oh you know this is this is why the Giants signed him or did he kind of just fizzle out a little bit if we're uh if we're looking at his regular seasons uh like what really yeah okay so Lamar Miller um spent four seasons I thought it was longer Four Seasons with the dolphins didn't he end up in Houston yeah he went to Houston for three years and then finished his career off in Chicago okay uh but in his four years with the uh Dolphins first year didn't necessarily get that much love 51 carries so throw that one out of there but the three years where he was the primary back uh 709 yards and two touchdowns a thousand yards and eight touchdowns and then an 800 yard season and eight touchdowns and uh the year that he had 709 he had 275 receivings so essentially three years in a row with over a thousand total yards and uh eight touchdowns back to back and if I'm not mistaken the record for the longest play in Miami Dolphins history uh running from the one yard line on a dive all the way to the touchdown speed uh definitely one of the first speed is your infatuation with speed while not being Speedy is amazing no it's not right but if you put together like a offensive line Dam we also had I can't forget Armstead we had uh Armstead don't forget uh the um what's the uh the weed smoker the gas mask oh tons Tel he wasn't here that long there was who was that guy that we had he wasn't here long he got you three first rounders oh that's good that is good um that was really good yeah man what like Jak BR Albert that's the name was Wai on Albert Jake Long Jake long was really good what's crazy is how the hell do we have all these names that we can name but we're always like that offensive line I don't know I I felt player to ever play for the Florida Gators or the Miami Hurricanes and the Miami Dolphins uh also went to Edison down here and carved out an amazing career uh with the Miami Dolphins post playing days played 13 Seasons during the 70s and 80s caught passes from the Dolphins best not more easily top of the list was there any question in your mind who is there anyone who I left off the list in your opinion where did did Ingram go to school down here Florida Melvin Ingram Mark okay Mark Ingram did he go to I don't think so but did he even play for the Dolphins Mark Ingram yeah Mark Ingram's dad and then she goes hold up I got it I'm just run through the sprinkler oh God yeah no because she's still wet right at least she's trying to you know take accountability so I have so again the only thing that's going to throw me off from my game watching experience is the weather yeah because I'mma be outside I can put my headphones on if you know what I mean so here the game but I just I'm like what you know like or my daughter she don't care either hey you hungry I'm feeling like a little something I'm sayfe got everything cut get out right like like the only very interactive the only person that gets it is when f is watching the game he'll come he look he'll grab a wing and sit down no words yeah he may ask you you got any more of those drinks of the refrigerator that's it that's that you know Lowe's Depends for different it's like here's does it give you the feeling the difference between Walmart and Target yes but I'mma tell you what I have never gone into a Home Depot and walked around 30 minutes before I saw somebody that could actually answer the damn question I need answered that's not my area stand right here I'll call somebody over I'm like aren't you wearing an orange shirt not my department I don't know that you don't have not my department on your shirt you're just wearing a Home Depot shirt why can't I ask you yeah it is frustrating I heard psychologically and like strategically Lowe's was designed to appeal to women uh that's why it's nicely lit that's why they got n but lights and knickknacks when you walk in it is so that because like they kind of felt that the Home Depot demographic was just like you know construction workers man there's no you know it looks like a warehouse it looks like we are backstage at a Home Depot when Lowe's looks like it's presented nicer you know the lighting does make sense because it looks cleaner water like the same way with with a Walmart and a Target like don't worry like don't like don't get me wrong I love all those stores it's convenient like I don't care notice the lighting yeah the lighting for sure things that Walmart sells that Target doesn't sell and then also there's price differences let me explain to let me tell no tell you like this there's certain things I don't need brand name yeah great value and I need value right and so like yeah and Target they always seem like listen I have a problem with your store brand anything don't try to charge me big money for your bootleg product I'll buy them I'm not met but don't try to include them like here go like golf stores do this right you have Nike you have this and then right next to it they put a shirt that look kind of like the other shirts but it's your own brand and they just hope you they can just get a couple of people to buy it at the same price as the other ones n Play I'm hip to your game no no you ain't got that same quality yeah that's what it is Kirkland but certain Kirkland things you could buy yeah for sure like I listen it just depends you got to do your research yeah once they got rid of um what's the hot dogs the Jewish hot dogs Hebrew National oh yeah like Costco used to do Hebrew Hebrew like I've retired tequila the most expensive the most expensive rum in the world cost $12 rum yeah rum super affordable you can see like a lot of the countries like in the Caribbean and stuffff that's usually like their main like drink like sugar exactly Dr as a kid I used to eat that crap just chew on it lot sugar in Louisiana yeah um yeah so that's weird like but here's what you can't drink a lot of rum that'll really get you sick because it's so much sugar yeah a lot of the those sweet drinks I try to avoid I used to love them but I used to love them too and then now I can take one like I'll
