Shootout in the Alamodome!!! | College Football 25 Team Builder Dynasty- Yellowstone Yams Ep. 11

hello everybody and welcome back to the Yellowstone yams Dynasty here on college football 25 this week we're headed to the Alamo doome for our last Mountain West game of the season as we continue to fight for bulll eligibility if the yams want to go bowling they've got to win two of their next three ball games and it's going to be tough as we got UTSA East Carolina and boisey stay our biggest rival UTSA comes in at 5 and four third in the Mountain West at 83 overall they're led by former Colorado Buffalo Owen maau he is a lefty sophomore Field General archetype at running back they've got senior Robert Henry as well as cavor and Barnes their wide receivers are the Deep threat tooran Clark Devin mccon and Willie McCoy well the best players on the team is their tight end Oscar cardas and I do not have a good feeling of facing this offensive line this definitely one of the best if not the best offensive line in the Mountain West and as I scroll through the defense man I was not familiar with the road runners game they've got some very good players at every single level of the defense they've got some dogs now one spot I do think we could attack is if Leon fox has a good day today the depth at corner doesn't seem to be there however they do have capable safeties in the back and we are here at the legendary Alamo Dome to take on the UTSA road runners their debut in the Mountain West against us and our final game in the Mountain West on the season now I don't think we're playing for any Mountain West championships however it would be nice to finish it out with a win as we are still trying to get to Bull eligibility UTSA is wearing those all oranges very crispy in this game and we're in the all whites today so let's have a good one folks let's see what we can do against these guys as we will kick it off first here as they're going to start out with a fair catch so here he comes it is Owen maau the former Colorado Buffalo he is 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions on the year see what he can do here is they'll start the game off with a handoff to Robert Henry the senior and he gets some room and birie Jones saves an early touchdown will now get the wide receiver involved hand it off to him find some room and that will be another first down second and 11 now here around Midfield it's going to be a hand off to Henry again he finds some more room and brought down by Jones so back to the wide receiver handoff and this time he's kind of slow but he still rumbles and tumbles for 10 so maau here he's going to take this snap his first throw and I thought he was a lefty did is he ambidextrous what's going on so now Owen maau he's just cooking right-handed I guess and he just throws that out of bounds that'll end the drive 51 yd field goal now to take the lead and it's good right down the middle so 3-0 here early for the road runners as the yams come on out for their first drive of the day had a very tough loss against New Mexico last week trying to race that here we'll start out with a hand off to Spurlock that goes nowhere so early third down Fox he has some time he steps up and gets hit as he throws he shouldn't have steep up there so that's a three and out so back on the fields maau gets some more pressure and down he goes it's Terry Baker he's been electric since coming back from injury but now second down Henry he gets a nice chunk of it back third and seven maau As Time throws it and beautifully time pass that's going to be a first so now second and seven in positive territory quick throw out wide there'll be another first down it's Willie McCoy inside the 25 first and 10 quick throw again and a massive hit from Henley but he hangs on so second and five quick throw it's a midscreen they get there nice blocking inside the five and they're knocking on the door now up 3-0 trying to push it to two scores hands it off down he goes nice Tackle by Rhett bush second and goal though quick throw out wide and he goes down that's Oscar cardinas so third and goal can the yams keep it at one score no they can Oscar kadas gets it in the star tight end wide open on the out route as he's already waving goodbye all right folks but it'll be an early two-score lead now as the yams come back out onto the field quick hand off here to Spurlock spins away from one and gets about seven hard fought yards there so third one hands it off and oh he's blown up in the back field so the punt unit comes on no it's a fake and he can't get it oh no the worst possible start down 10 Z you do the fake punt it doesn't work at the end of the first quarter 10 Z they're knocking on the doorstep and we've only ran six plays on offense no first downs this is terrible second and seven having throw and that's going to be another score maau just threw it up to cardinas and Jay Jones just got cooked the inside leverage and now it's a three-score ball game here early as you see here he just boxed him out great play there by cardinas and the yams have an uphill battle now down 17 can't think of the score at this point we just got to think about getting a first down here as it's third and six Fox he has I guess some time no he doesn't it runs out and that's going to be another three and out so the punt unit comes out and that you can't do that another free possession remember I am playing on the most upto-date patch that claims to fix that kind of an issue but the AMS will take it we desperately need the yardage roughing the kicker so another third and seven now for the AMS Leon he's just going to Chuck it down the middle and it's caught by Mixon first down the hard way will take it so hand off now to Spurlock we across Midfield gets inside the 30 almost another first so third inches can joha Martin get it this time yes he does beautiful so second and eight Fox quick throw out wide it's an RPO mix it oh he slows up what a move inside the five first and goal now for the AMS leani takes off and he's going to go down that's a sack second and goal Fox throws it caught by Mixon inside the five that was risky as we bring back out the split T and Shawn Martin capitalizes touchdown yams what a drive to get us back into it capitalizing on the free possession and we are back within 10 definitely can't let this game snowball we're still in it so 2 minutes 30 seconds left in the half they're going to fake the hand off hand it off to Henry and he goes nowhere J Jones on the tackle so second and four makes it again it's going to be a throw Owen has plenty of time and oh what a tip Away by Flanigan saves a big play now they're going to throw the screen pass and we can't get there first down road runners Man in Motion they're loving these wide receiver motions in the back field is this time they throw it deep to Henry and he's going to get a big play inside the 25 so first and 10 now and quick throw to the end zone tipped Away by Henley You' like him to get the hands up maybe pick that off second and 10 now down the save and it's going to be cardinus again first and goal hand off Henry and oh he just shrugs off the former Road Runner Lamar Lanes touchdown UTSA domination here in the first half 24-7 about 90 seconds left can the yams do something here Fox he throws that deep and it's caught by uh Tyrone Easley but we got to check on the flag here and roughing the passer tack on 15 the yams are in business already across the 50 is now he run some play action Liam fox in trouble he evades him and he's going to run for it no he throws it hits his man it's easily breaks a tackle he gets inside the 10 what a play there from Fox so now they throw this to the end zone and they're going to Mark McGee short so second and goal now Shawn Martin times two yes sir the yams are back within 10 just slowly chipping away we don't go away folks you don't want us to get hot don't let us back in this game if you're UTSA so 24 seconds left in the half oh and it's almost picked by Terry Baker third and 10 they're just going to hand it off trying to get to half but they're going to get some yardage maybe FR Jam range we'll see what they decide to do they will run another play here they're just going to throw it down the seam to Oscar cadas of course cuz who else and that'll do it half time UTSA has a 10-point lead Oscar cadas is killing us but hey I'll take it down 10 we get the ball at half this is doable we have a chance the offense woke up in the second quarter not that bad so come on Leon lock in let's get it going we'll start out with a hand off to Spurlock he gets some room there he goes he cuts so baby big play there from Spurlock second and 11 Fox he's locked in the pass and oh just runs into a sack what are we doing third and 15 now here for Lon can they keep the drive alive he just throws it deep and somehow it finds Mixon we're not going to ask too many questions we'll just keep it going screen pass here to Jerome Neil and that'll be another first down so first and 10 inside the 20 we have lued out on this drive can we finish it Leon he escapes he scrambles to the goal line no it's a thumble UTSA has it Brandon Brown hops on it and he's high stepping unreal play from the road runners Leon Fox tried to play Hero ball here and he just couldn't finish it as you see here in the top left he got hit at the two he tried to extend it as well so now we just got to try and get a safety here as we bring the house and it's complete no not like this no somebody please Turf monster bail us out no 99 y touchdown for the UTSA road runners Willie Young or Willie McCoy on your Dome as it's 17 points and once again here for UTSA we sold out on the run and got burnt to a crisp beautiful blocking and then we were never going to catch him with the linebacker so now after that 14-point swing here we come out oh it's Easley he has some room and he's caught oh I should have angled a little further outside Leon let's see how he responds here yeah slams it deep and he hits Mixon baby back in the Red Zone in two plays now Leon he's going to scramble once again is he going to do it again to the end zone touchdown yes a thre playay response oh baby 75 yards three plays there he is my goat Leon Fox baby so now here comes comes UTSA trying to make something in this half up 10 third and 11 throws it deep has a man and he's hit by Lamar lanes that ends the drive so down 10 here come the yams now hands it off to Jerome Neil he's going to get about three here on the dive second and seven give be play action rolling right from Fox he throws cross body to the corner and it's caught oh Mixon brings in so now here's Spurlock he's going to get a first on his carry to the stretch to the right so now we go play action to the left side throws it to the flat that's Bentley he has some room and that's going to be a first down as well the yams are cooking second and 10 Fox he has some time he's rolling now back right there goes Fox can we get another one yes we do the second rushing touchdown of the day after the fumble at the goal line we've pulled within three what a response from Fox here in the third quarter earlier in the season we might have let this just kind of get away from us but we're fighting here today folks down three can we get another stop first down and what a tackle by Gilbert third 12 and quick throw it's a mid screen here got to get him down and they do fourth down the yams are back on it we could take the lead on this drive we hand this off to Spurlock he's going to cut inside and that's going to be another first up to the 48 Fox second and eight Fox finds his man it's easily and he's get get inside the 25 as that ends the third quarter the yams have all the momentum oh my come on boys finish it finish Strong Quick throw out wide on the RPO it's mixing he gets round one man gets a first Fox Now on the slant and that's going to be easily again inside the five so Shawn Martin looking for another one and he gets it here we take the lead the fifth rushing touchdown on the day for the yames gives him a four-point lead in the fourth quarter UTSA just cannot believe it they had a 17-point lead on two separate occasions and now they're losing as Henry here he gets only a couple on that first play second and six now it's going to be another handoff he gets around the corner and that'll be a first five minutes left second and 11 quick throw out wide and it's cardinas no bla brings him down inside the 40 second and seven quick throw again it's cardinas again and no he's going to get the edge inside the 15 please somebody knock him out of the game as now they're going to hand this off nice move up the middle and inside the five third and five here quick throw and that's going to be it that's a touchdown the slant Works UTSA retakes the lead 3835 as the AMS will have 3 minutes and 23 seconds to respond here they've been brilliant here in the second half as Leon throws this one and it's intercepted oh he was trying to find Ty Road easily and it looks like there's just some miscommunication trying to run a comeback I guess they thought he was going to run a streak I'm not sure so now it's first and 10 here for UTSA we've got to get a stop and that's a nice one there nice deflection second and 10 now quick throw to the outside and they make the play third and 12 it's going to be a screen pass out wide somebody please make the tackle Henry breaks it and Lamar lades brings him down so they bring out the field goal unit to push it to six and he misses wide right the yams live to fight another down little over two minutes left they're taking a deep shot oh easily oh incomplete so it's third down quick throw and a drop by easily there fourth and eight Fox he takes the snap he has some time he throws it what are you doing intercept it again just tossed it up to Ryan McGee it was an absolute duck in full transparency there I clicked the wrong button I got absolutely cooked I didn't know what to do I was trying to throw it to Mixon on the outside and I pressed the wrong button what a choke so now we need to stop and we get one here from Flanigan we'll be second down down three second and five Owen he keeps it he flips it out he's going to get the first no and that will do it it's victory formation as the yams lose another here on the road 3835 and that one stings I felt like we had a big chance today we started playing really well there in the second half after a horrible start we had two chances to uh to retake the lead there late in the fourth and we just couldn't do it unbelievable game here from UTSA great game plan but I felt like we definitely left the win on the table especially with like things like that turnover and then given up like a 99 y we shouldn't have been in this game but we were and uh and we could run the ball today I felt like Leon was great in the pass game he also was great in the Run game but just too many turnovers obviously those two interceptions at the end were both horrible um the second one definitely was just a a Miss uh click unfortunately but the first one I don't know what happened it was just a terrible attempt at a throw to uh to Tyrone easily but I mean Oscar cadas he just killed us as well and their defense was pretty good here and there they generated a bit of pressure as well asz they got three sacks on the day two interceptions and a bunch of past deflections as well they made our lives kind of hell today so Leon goes 19 of 27 280 no touchdowns on the day but he does get two rushing touchdowns and then how about Shawn Martin getting three touchdowns as well and receiving both Mixon and Easley go over a 100 yards today love to see that from the boys and I mean our blocking as well they only got two sacks I felt like it was pretty good and on defense once again I would like the pass defense to be a bit better uh but you can't really complain I know we gave up a lot of points um but it was mostly that one big play and uh we finally get to level five though so that's that's a plus this week no injuries this week for the yams so rice who was in the cfp projections a week ago goes down to Memphis 3817 Kansas barely escapes Iowa State 3331 and down goes number one Oregon 3121 Maryland gets him on the road down goes Florida State 3231 to Notre Dame and A&M takes down Kansas state to become the new number one team in the country in the Mountain West we had Colorado State Edge out Nevada Fresno State take down Air Force Kennesaw State take down UT UTSA barely beats Yellow Stone Western Kentucky takes out New Mexico State Oregon State beats San Jose State and San Diego State takes down New Mexico so the yams have now played eight conference games we went four and four and the best finish we can have is in fifth place so no Conference Championship this year for the AMS Tennessee gets the defensive player of the week with an interception and two Force fumbles along with two recoveries Chris long on the offensive side had 142 total yards and four touchdowns in the mount West it was Brandon brown with that fumble recovery on the goal line and a sack against Yellowstone and then I'm not even going to pretend to pronounce that but it's 131 and three touchdowns for Nevada so here's an updated projection for the college football playoff Alabama goes up to number one Clemson number two Oregon drops to number three and Kansas State at number four and UAB is projected now to get that fifth Auto bit now A&M the number one team in the country is number five only because Alabama is currently higher than them in the conference standings so here's an updated look at the college football playoff rankings so unfortunately my recording wasn't working but we got another commit the one one star right tackle Earl Sutton out of Colorado so here's an updated look at all of our battles we're still in second for Landry and we're still in second for Rudolph with Colorado State and I added some points to Hardrick and with our newest signing we have moved all the way up to 104 in the rankings so for our newest upgrades for Chad Barber I'm going
