improving but it's her putter um that hurt her uh her chances early in the season at the ninth Alexa Pano her second Alexa one is a teenager last year on the LPGA Tour BR getting putting last year and it's gone to 14th jokes game putting so it definitely has improved Alexa Pano at the ninth for birdie oh yes Body English I say you have to use a little bit of body English to get that to go in Alexa's dad caddies for her and always has and they Zone at the 10th part five 2 and 1 half Paces right of it final instructions from her dad Alexa Pano so suck today I'm not happy with how she's playing but she does have three birdies so far on her round that just was definitely off here Alexa Pano at the 10th did not like her approach shot has this long putt for birdie yeah really from downtown having to judge the correct pace could be tricking that far away but she did a great job really solid strike to 11 we go Alexa Pano has this putt for birdie she's got it remember her putt on the previous hole that lag putt was a really good one had good Pace now good speed here not seen that happen Pano second at the 12th look at this one now she's 44th and T in distance so really going to try to take advantage of her length when she can par fives that was absolutely gorgeous and I think in her mind was expecting much more than just one win on the LPGA Tour well Alexa Pano the 19-year-old talked about her distance 552 yards on this par five and two and setting herself up with a great look at Eagle which would get her to 10 under and all of a sudden that would jump her 11 spots it just shows you how low the scores are right now and how uh so much of the field that's playing lights out Alexa has one top 10 and it happened to be the first one of the Year where she finished second at the Hilton Grand Vacations for Eagle what a job right there by the 19yearold not a bad little stretch three under the last two holes yeah birdie birdie on eight and nine one lone par on that par 510 I mean that is a good chance to make those birdies at the 13th Alexa Pano on the te you see that Patriots logo Alexa Pano just 19 years old this is somebody who was the first three-time national finalist in the Drive Chip and Puck competition at Augusta National and she was featured in the 2012 Netflix documentary called the short game Amari Avery a golfer at USC was there here she is playing on the LPGA tour right now at 19 it's so awesome to see you know players at really young age who are dominant then make it to the major league major leagues of golf it's like not you know whether it is baseball or football or basketball is not always going to happen uh for standouts when they're younger and uh she's won already on the LPGA Tour as an 18-year-old she just said be right that was pretty good she is about to put together a stretch as you mentioned she had birdies at8 and nine her front nine hey and she could she could cover some ground make that cut now Pano a chance for another birdie oh could not capitalize off that beautiful t- shot shows how locked in she is that she didn't even consider a fairywood now Alexa Pano at 14 has this putt for birdie six under on her round today just 19 years old oh oh what a butt she really has not played her best the last several weeks she's missed three out of the last four cuts and uh having that second place at her first event of the year it's great to see her playing better cuz we know that Alexa Pano one of the hottest players on the course right now seven under on her round today another one-handed finish yeah pulled that quite a bit to the left at the 15th we saw Alexa Pano kind of pull the approach shot now this her third I almost was thinking she might chip that in I found a landing spot over the FR just have it trundle out so when they heard the noise which airplane it was helped her kind of take her mind away from the actual Golf and kind of give her a little bit of a break now here's Pano for her par the 19-year-old is seven under today now you see that great run she had on the 11th and 12th hole because we saw her when we picked up five under par uh that is shows you just how players are lighting up this perfect golf course and SE Young's may have to make a couple birdies coming in besides her length off the tea what impresses you about this 19-year-old in Pano uh her her length obviously but also uh just from TAA green uh I know she kind of wasn't happy with how she hit some of her iron shots earlier but uh you know she is very strong the long the fairwoods uh long irons um uses that strength but I've been impressed with her chipping what we've seen from her um the last two seasons has a good short game a big Bender here very big draw she did not get the same break that'll be in the rough so we'll see that short game on display again for Alexa Pano hit it too hard at the 17th second for Alexa Pano [Music] oh what a nice shots a perfect amount of spin being a of movement Alexa pan is now eight under on her round today and Pano gets it to 12 under for the tournament I just kind of expect them to go in and she just kept giving herself lots of opportunities hopefully she can do that on the weekend well speaking of a low score Alexa Pano has this to fire a N9 under [Music] 63 you see her dad Caddy's for really involved in her golf game they're very much a [Music] team sometimes that French collar can give it a weird bounce or take off some speed it seems to behave itself but still short of the hole little tap in par still a 64 for the 19-year-old who is four shots back entering the weekend
