[Applause] even looking for the K and that's the first strike out of his major league career and it could be the first of many if he meets the goals he set for himself and the expectations others have for him he doesn't want to just win games he wants to dominate at this level do you think Young pitchers could sometimes get too caught up in try to rack up KS early in their career Bo I think they can it's it's kind of like a hitter that doesn't have power The Thrill is still hitting the ball over the fence and so for a guy even if he doesn't have power stuff or strikeout stuff a strikeout is one guy leading the way offensively for this club right now eduard Julien and he's leading him in runs batted in this season which tells me this guy is able to slow things down when it seems like there's a little bit of pressure and he's looking at as an opportunity to do damage you know a lot of guys they see Runners on base and they get big they feel like all this pressure I've got to get hitters have really struggled not even against him and it just tells me they have a hard time tracking the baseball maybe it's the point maybe it's the motion but just some way somehow they've got to figure out to pick it up and try to have some succcess from the left side and a quick out number one take a look at the lineup and Chris this group has been struggling to put up runs lately well they haven't been on base a ton and even when they are they haven't been hitting very well with the runners on base so they need a guy or two to really Step Up have some quality at bats hit according to the situation and sort of break out of this I think if they do the rest of this lineup will follow and now it's Brandon [Applause] low the W to kick the pitch swings through that one for strike two manage it that misses and it's two and two you have a catcher that can throw like that a pitcher doesn't have to worry as much about the slide step he can keep his mechanics intact and have a better opportunity of getting that hitter out with a swing and miss and he hits a ground ball right side throw on to Santana out two and stepping in for the Rays Johnny Duca two down dolman on foul ball left love about him is that he goes all out every single time never takes a break guys like that even though they don't have the Elite Speed the fact that they're consistent with it they make moves on the base passs that's the third out one left for Tampa still no score back here at Tropic field out of the fourth this is Willie Castro cro the pitch that's ball well these twins just lacking discipline at the plate in this ball game so many of their outs have come from weak contact on pitches they're chasing outside of the strike zone you can't do much of anything with those locations and that's been true again today that's a little bit low and as a pitcher when the hitters are swinging at everything you feel no need to challenge inside the zone you just keep working the corners and expanding that Strike Zone and Beyond and they just keep eating right out of your hand payoff pitch on the ground to third tosses the first and one on to the fourth as they get the lead off well he's doing a don't even have to get a hit at that point you can help your team just by reaching on an error but some way got to find a way to shorten up the swing and put the ball in play next time Rocco belli out some nerves there probably don't want to squeeze the baseball too tight just relax and do what you're capable of doing the one- one is fouled off home team down a run last half of inning number developing that spin rate having a good grip on the baseball those high they turn things over to the Southpaw Tyler Alexander on for his major league debut so we'll see if he's ready for the big stage first there's two board I was expected double play off the back but I think he just tried to be a little too quick there especially when you think it's a pretty routine ball to handle it's really easy to think ahead to the transfer in the throw before you actually bring it into your gr next to hit Dylan Carlson and that one fouled off definitely got the hitter conscious of the pitch inside really think the out half is open and the two two almost got him well all eyes on the double play ball in this spot no better way to get out of this inning with the goahead run at the plate here in the
