between St Louis city SC and the New England Revolution uh yes in case you are joining the stream and you're not aware of why I am uh wearing a baruja Dortmund hat well St Louis did not make friends with Dortmund fans in the past week they posted a uh rip on the LA Galaxy's Marco Roy graphic with Roy sitting on top of the Gateway Arch and um Dortmund fans thought that we were mocking their waifu I meant their icon and uh they did not take kindly on that wonderful social media site called Twitter about it so I still am a Dortmund fan maybe less so from that whole episode but uh yeah um I thought this might uh might be a little bit of levity for uh what's been going on this week so all right Eli Carlson what would we do with the drunken sailor I we're in Boston or the Boston area tonight so it just felt kind of appropriate at least for the starter stick him in the Sporter section uhoh Eli's asking what I'm wearing all right uh soccer zombie my man in the old heads fit nice uh was that I I think that might have been Mason uh posting on my behalf there uh yeah Twitter is wonderful uh they're waifu yeah they that's what that's what he that's what they treated him as like you cannot mock the uh uh the great Marco Roy it's I dealt with that with uh lonel Messi fans when I did that video on Nick Maric outscoring lonel Messi in the domestic competition in the US and I had Messi fans like respect the goat and I'm like please he's he he can he can he can defend himself thank you he's a grown ass man he doesn't need your help not that is Marco Royce and we that wasn't even the target with Marco Royce we were targeting the LA Galaxy anyway I have digressed already long enough uh as you can see I did some redecorating back here uh yep I got the Tim Parker scarf up for this one look Tim Parker I got the Parker on the back because he's a St Louis Legend still like I nothing will ever take that away um you know from Tim Parker and what he did for us in the inaugural season so yeah I got to pay some homage to the man there but he is next to our uh our uh our wifeu uh Roman berky uh formerly of these guys here Dortmund and uh yeah the scarf is out they had a couple at City Pavilion yesterday so if you were still looking to get a berky scarf uh they are right there just make sure if you're a season ticket holder to show them your uh proof of season ticket holders ship otherwise they will not give you the discount on the scarf as I unfortunately learned because I forgot my cell phone um Ryan Frey I thought the bottling would be why people aren't Dortmund fans that's fair um Eli Carlos hardle is the goat you know what hey berky move over we we we we got ourselves a a new goat here so uh Jeremy clemens's joining in the park kid Shenanigans tonight with my Parker Confluence kit so I must look like the most confused fan ever tonight uh totally totally I I mean hey I mean I'm no I'm wearing my Parker so it's like you know we're just just join the club definitely um who is at second shift tonight are they having a watch party tonight did I miss out on a uh on a watch party we we love second shift we were actually uh before the watch cool stuff there Eli Carlson actually Ryan fley I would have went up but I'm going to sdl for house sing tomorrow so trips from Chester to St Lou Louis on three straight days are too much good luck on to house sunning um the um the uh housing market in St Louis is a little ruthless but um it's not I he it's not as bad as it was Eli by the way did you remember when I said Reed was a great Wing back after the first game I think been proven right I think so as well Santos are also having one as well and I forget where they are um I think it's somewhere downtown if I'm not mistaken or are they at 9 Mile cuz they've been kind of hanging at 9 Mile lately um I don't know you guys let let me know where uh the Santo is going to show them uh some love here so on that note let's go ahead and talk about the game at hand oh and by the way you may have noticed uh I have a digital clock behind me um you'll see why it's there uh when the game starts Kane what's going on Kane his watch party is in his looks a lot better I mean you I can actually see you know the whiteness in your face which is a weird thing to say actually now that I think well I am a white guy so I guess you you are that is that is confirmed confirmed producer Mason confirmed white gu confirmed white guy yeah in case there was any doubt now it is I will say there was actually some doubt about the Sunbird and me being on this watch along because my face has been peeling for the last two days and I was like I'm not going to go on stream if my face is still peeling that's just disgusting this is the this is the soccer zombie channel so if Freddy Krueger made an appearance on this channel I think it would be on brand so it would be an interesting an interesting Twist on the zombie genre if the zombies were red instead of gray right exactly and you know what that's that's one reason why I get along with atfc because their whole thing is the Egypt mummy thing and uh mummies are kind of like zombies in a in in a in a weird way so in many senses I would say in fact in me sense I I would say I would say they're cousins I would say zombies and mummies are definitely cousins I'm calling this right now very relevant discussion to soccer um don't don't think that we're on a tangent it is very relevant it will come up later this will be on the test take notes yeah us on a tangent really I mean never never no no no no we we are we are River City um on Rails you know we are not River City ramble I mean river River City Shand defur or maybe River City shaton Frey depending on uh depending on the day uh that was that was the first half of the Season ah gotcha gotcha all right so let's go ahead and talk um about the big big attraction with this game not just the fact that this is the first time that St Louis CSC and New England Revolution are playing the lineups and um I'm going to address the elf in room for a fact I'm actually going to address it right now New England revs lineup is out and one name jumps out if you're a St Louis fan number 27 Tim Parker is making his rev's debut tonight I know boy it is and you know what I only know it is Tim Parker's debut because in the thumbnail graphic that is literally the only picture of Tim Parker in a revs Jersey that I can find so uh Tim Parker making his debut tonight you think he's goingon to be a little motivated for this one oh yeah um absolutely um friend of the or at least friend of the River City ramble um I think also possibly friend of the soccer zombie YouTube channel Dan Dev Vier uh posted at us being like what are the odds that Parker and K get simultaneous red cards and it's like I don't know about that um I think that this is going to be a big time Revenge game for both of them and I bet both of them score to be quite honest I think that is quite I mean of course we know Parker is always a threat to score from uh from corners and his flying headers uh Angus M how's it going um so yeah um and by the way while we're on the topic of Tim Parker uh sell Parker pner at least at the liquor store around the corner for me so yeah they still have Parker pser available at good stores everywhere and just in case you didn't you find a midi cover of shipping up to Boston I was looking for one and I I couldn't I mean I I would have it would have been one of those things where it's like okay how long has this YouTube account been dead can I use it and probably get away with it cuz secret that uh the cover the 8bit cover of zombie CR by The Cranberries that's like from an account that's like 12 years old and they haven't posted anything in like 10 years so I it's okay they they are not going to get mad at you for that one but also I'm thinking about this and I'm like what do you do with a drunken YouTuber what do you do with a drunken YouTuber what do you do with a drunken YouTuber late in the evening exactly all right so let's get into our lineup here so we got berky and net no shock there um maybe a surprise depending on your point of view maybe more of a surprise maybe or maybe not more of a surprise than the first time he was in the lineup Jake nerwinski in fact he actually got the uh picture treatment there so uh nerwinski Kessler Hebert and Giannis Horn uh starting at left back here um first things first Mason with nerwinski I mean this in general with nnsky and Horn looks like that hackworth wants to play he liked the defensive look from last time and maybe he's just um not breaking uh not changing what isn't broken do you think that's the case here uh yeah largely um I guess uh to um not bury the lead here it's the same lineup that we uh went out with last game and and um I think that Jake nnsky showed very well in that match and also Janis horn I think I think showed out very well in that match but I think that we're expecting a lot more of jannis horn than we are for say Jake nnsky um I think that Jake is getting the run out here because he has played well he wasn't necessarily getting the time that he possibly even deserved um out of uh Carnell and hack has more belief in him and then also we're on the road and 99 times out of 100 you want a more defensive shape on the road um and so nnsky makes a lot more sense there um one thing I do think is that um totland is absolutely chomping at the bit into to get into this game and so one thing that we talked about is uh when uh uh on on the RCR uh when uh Reed came in for horn and Reed unlocked the offense down that Wing if it's if it's a deadlock late in the game or even if we're down one Reed for horn and tots for Jake oh boy yeah I know and that was something I mentioned in the last episode like I wonder if you know we're going to see how they used horn and Reed you know more because you know horn started he played the bulk but then you had Reed's fresh legs come on late and like almost right after he came on he contributed to hard's goal goal so um I wonder if they stumbled upon the proper usage of that of course I want to see um you you brought this up in the last episode jannis horn I I think he wilted a little bit in the St Louis uh heat I agree I I agreed with your take there uh shouldn't be as hot tonight but do you think it was the Heat or do you think it was just him getting back up to speed why he looked a little gassed um I think it was Mike that said that actually not to I don't want to take any credit away from I don't want to take any credit away from our illustrious host um but I agree with him and I I think it's um it's probably like a 6040 I think I think he was probably melting in the Heat and then it's also it's the first minutes he's really put under his leg since he's gotten here so there's I think acclamation on both sides it's getting back up to speed getting up to game shape and then also you know a guy from from Denmark coming over here and being like Oh my God it has never been this hot anywhere I've ever been in my entire life well I mean jabul Blom I mean he also had issues with the heat last year and I remember he uh had issues like getting dehydrated and he just wasn't used to it and now jabo's black is is back in uh in South Africa um what do you think of that move going back to Kaiser Chiefs like I thought I I think it was a I mean on the surface of it you know we don't know what went on behind the scenes but like I think it was a good gesture by the club to send him back to Kaiser Chiefs where you know he played most most of his career and he was obviously most comfortable with um what what did you think of that move um I was sad to see it go I really like jbo um I really liked his play he obviously dropped in the dep chart um like let let's not kid ourselves right but I was sad to see him go I'm glad that it's only alone but also like it is alone with an option to buy and I would kind of be surprised if the Kaiser Chiefs didn't buy him back because he's such a HomeTown favorite there um and I don't know um I think one thing is that like yeah he did absolutely melt in the heat here and everyone's like oh well it's Africa he should be used to the heat South Africa's not that hot man it's pretty temperate there very that's why I mean it's one of the reasons why it's one of the biggest population centers in Africa is because it's just the weather down there is really nice actually um probably very similar to like uh um trying to think of like a night like maybe like a I almost want to say almost California like you know at least in the non-desert parts because you know a lot of California is very nice and very temperate um down near like like Johannesburg and stuff like that yeah like down near the cap like on the coast yeah it's yeah it's it's kind of SoCal when you get onto into the interior you get a little bit more into the jungle it gets a little more humid a lot hotter but like in the in the cities in the places where you play professional football it's basically SoCal and like you don't get that kind kind of weather here by way mo football is saying nope Salt Lake during the day so H interest I not sure was that in reference to the South Africa weather uh Mo or uh but anyway regardless I I hope he does maybe I need to have a discussion with my friend who has been over there because I have not been to South Africa but my A friend of mine has been for his uh for like uh his uh grad his grad school stuff so maybe I need to have a talk with him about the weather reports happen getting from well and as you said it just maybe just depends on the area of of South Africa but yeah Musa says it's like Salt Lake during the day and Salt Lake during the day is uh hot and dry hot and dry so H well I I'll have to go to South Africa someday and see for my I'm from a hot and dry place and I can tell you for a fact the humidity does make a big even if it's hot it does it does I I I went to Phoenix a couple years ago and I was like it this doesn't feel bad out here what's the temperature oh 100° yeah the the joke about the dry heat isn't that much a joke the dry heat matters definitely definitely uh rest of the lineup as you said looks um uh very uh very much you know it's the exact same lineup as last week Durkin and Len in the middle vasel left toyer hardle attacking with Simon beter up top which makes sense I don't think ja Claus is quite ready yet at least for starters minutes um on the bench we got ratus Alm Jake Girdwood Reich clouse Reed thoron totland Watts Yaro and Lun only name that doesn't that sticks out to me that isn't in that bench actually a couple names number one Johnny Klein's not there number two hideo kajima is not there they've been getting runs with City 2 of late so that kind of also kind of what makes me tells me that you know this is um maybe with all everyone getting healthy again and you know the new toys that are in um you know get a toy toy shirt um you know maybe they're just kind of out of the Reckoning at the moment yeah I I think the big thing is that like kleene and kajima have been pushed out of their spots by Alm and klouse returning right um I Klein I think was an emergency call up U right like we we all know that um kajima I think is on everybody's radar right like everybody from fans to front office is looking at kajima and being like we got a Real Steal with this kid like we all know what we got like this kid is the real deal but he is a like he like he's a draft pick like we we took him from Wake Forest and put him in the first team lineup um you don't see that a lot I think that that was like playing Kima that much was more a desperation move than anything and so I think that kind of everybody possibly even kajima included would like for him to go down to City 2 and get a little more seasoning before he had to be this pressured he did a great job stepping up to the plate and delivering in those high pressure situations but now that he's not quite as needed kajima is also the kind of guy that just wants to go and play he doesn't really care where um but as we saw where he would he would sub on in a city game fly back and then play start in the city 2 game um yeah he just wants to play and I think that he probably is also like yeah man I don't care uh put me wherever you need me and I think right now they're like we don't really have room for you on the team put you on City 2 and he's like I love it I'm going to go win them a championship yeah definitely and you know um as a game's going to start here in a little bit they're currently in commercial on Apple TV um I I did kind of notice that kajima looked a little I I we talked about the sun of pack a little bit I think uh he he's he will hustle he'll try to cover every blade of grass on the on that he can and I think he was looking a little tired and I think uh I think a reset for him in City 2 you know to kind of um re acclimate a little bit and you know I think that's a good idea also just gets him some time gets him some minutes probably gets him a chance to be a little bit of a coach as well because you know that's one thing that uh Carell that said about him that that he likes to you know be like almost like a little coach yeah um I love I really do one thing I one thing I want to flag up here is uh Jeremy uh talking about the starting 11 um I don't think this is the first time that hack has brought out the same 11 but um in a small sample size I think that hack has done it a little more often than Carnell did it was kind of a rarity when Carnell did it to the point that it was a joke um you know speaking I like I think hack did it a couple of times like like he would have like two games with the same lineup during like leagues cup maybe even three leagues cup was weird it it it's hard to say I think he did it once before maybe twice but like the the lineup was so in flux I don't and also my memory is shot and I'm stupid so I don't know yeah definitely and Musa thanks for uh if he continues that I mean I can see him being just as popular as Tim Parker is that a hot take is that a hot take could Henry Kessler be at least as popular as Tim Parker was here in St Louis because I love me some Tim Parker a lot of people L him some Tim Parker Tim Parker drove some people crazy though so maybe maybe that's not so controversial what do you guys think do you think Henry Kessler could uh um could be just as popular as Tim Parker all right Durkin with the ball carrying it on the near side cuts it back to the Middle lven with it now looking for a friend he's just going use that that that Pharaoh mascot more because it's actually a kind of a banger shirt um but yeah they they lean into the Egyptian stuff like they have a mummy that's a mascot too it's that's pretty it's it's kind of funny they really do try it atar I love them um might be doing some stuff for them this coming uh season by the way all right we're in the Midfield now going out outside wise um oh got some answers on the Kessler I think uh Kessler is roadbed in the popularity rankings by guys like Celio right now please get well Celio please get well I mean yes Kessler definitely has some work to do as bad turnover here four on two for New England but they fluff it and durkin's there to the the the cover it up nice hustle back there by Durkin although remember last remember last week uh hackworth told Durkin stay back stay back stay back cuz Durkin likes to wander a little bit and uh looked like Durkin was is definitely putting on the afterburners to get back there hopefully he uh hangs back there a little bit more looks like he is he's marking 17 there on the far side uh more Kessler opinions sure Kessler can be as popular as Parker but he has to earn it that's pretty much my point um Kane personality wise yes obvious meaning to Club history of course not no one's ever going to going to match you know Parker in that regard um but if he skyrockets a ball into the Sands of uh children Mercy Park absolutely yes that there you go we were joking on the uh River City ramble this past uh week about because uh it was Mason's turn to get hit by a uh flying pregame ball in the stands and uh as you can see he he lived to tell the tail but uh I i' made the joke that like the supporter section at city park must feel like a shooting target for um away teams you know during pregame because like we're very tall we're very vertical we got this very color CTIC colorful cast of characters we have guys wearing ravioli hats which I saw the comment on earlier by the way I'll bring that up in a little bit got the flags you got the drums and it's like yeah I mean we we've got to look like one of those like old western type of shooting ranges um you you get like five points for hitting the ravioli head 10 points for hitting a flag that kind of thing yeah uh Mason got hit on the passenger side quarter panel so luckily uh those are very fixable in my time I actually damaged a quarter side panel front quarter side panel after I hit a deer uh in my old uh Saturn and uh it was fine just needed to uh I went to the junkyard replaced it everything with Saturns was Bolton part so it was very easy to fix yeah Jeremy also noting that Durkin doesn't seem to be sitting deep again so far yeah that's something to watch for tonight is uh can Durkin be uh responsible um and cuz I I I love the effort from Durkin it's the same issue we were talking about with kajima you love the effort you love to see it but like there is such a thing as play smart as berky clears it out not harder all right get there Simon Simon will get there could launch an attack here uh Indie in front of him toyer in the middle going to play it back though to Len Len sitting pretty deep uh where we are in the East so I think it could be done I mean how many teams have come into city park and put up three against us I mean you know probably more times than we want to remember but you another city player put up his arms referees holding out his hand was that a handball it's time for our favorite game as a St Louis city fan was that a hand ball well on that replay I didn't even see it hit the hand oh it went off Parker's hand it did go off Parker's hand are they going to say it was too close to his body though I know we I think that might might have been a handball apparently they reviewed it and said no it was in a natural position that's ah gosh yeah handball of a Parker of Parker of all people um didn't he get didn't he give away a uh penalty kick uh when he was with st completion percentage for New England was tonight cuz they were really sloppy tonight it was a mid off right it's what you expect from two 13th Place teams right like and they played exactly to that level I feel like it was a hard flought game that game was a lot of fun to watch um both teams looked like [ __ ] um they both looked bad yeah like like like like the Portland game like if you were neutral like you know that Portland game was like oh my God this is so fun 44 oh my gosh Anything Can Happen the Kuba America game if you were neutral was probably very fun to watch yeah like those games are a lot of fun to watch because like you look at the table and we look like underdogs and like you know Win Lose or Draw like those are really exciting games uh especially when we make them that exciting this game oh these are two teams that suck that are just beating up on each other yeah Jeff says that both teams were about 80% or in the 80 percentile range in the half but it just it just looked like New England had was a little discombobulated um we didn't I thought we I thought we handled the ball I thought well we did we handled the ball better we looked a we looked much poor much poorer than we did in the G Galaxy game which again or I guess I shouldn't say again something that I have been thinking of is that we have a really bad habit of playing down to our opponent yes we are consistently up to the task of taking like consistently up to the task of being the David in the David of Goliath may we do not know how to play a David versus David game and maybe that's why Tim's bucket hat says away at lafc is going to be easy points yeah I I I like the optimism there he he also says he's just kidding cuz he's he has a brain um yeah I was going to say like no it's not but but like this is this like so many time but I will I will say this so many times this year with St Louis the issue has been final third final third you know we get the ball into final third we don't know what to do with it I feel we do know what to do in the final third now we've seen that tonight a few times again goalie made a few big stops our issue tonight was just the transition defense was is just poor and I think and and we need to really figure out okay Durkin needs to stay at home he needs to we need to we need to unlock l i mean I get unlocking Len you know because I think he of the two he seems more uh apt for being a box tobox type you know with maybe more emphasis on the front box but like so many times this game it just felt like where's Durkin where's Durkin when when when the revs are coming our way getting balls in the Box where's Durkin I um and that's his job we uh um um our um friends of the shows uh ball watching did an interview with edu Len and they asked him about like what is your favorite position to play and edu said that it's the position that he plays right now which is kind of the six but mostly like that box to boox midfielder right it's a more Forward Thinking six yeah yeah but like he likes to kind of play like like I I guess like the eight is I guess more what I meant kind of the eight yeah um yeah but like he likes to like be put back on the defensive line but then play like push forward and it's cuz he likes to play both sides of the ball it it box tobox midfielder right um I uh and then he said that he really appreciates that hack just like like unlocks him and says like if that's what you want to play then go go play it yeah I think hack needs to tell Durkin reain it in you need to stay back you don't get to go all over the place if if Len is doing this you need to stay here Jeff makes a good point it did rain its butt off in the second half and it did feel like the game really slowed down a lot just in general like you saw both teams kind of you know adopt a more patient buildup that didn't help um Mike notes playing good teams who like possession really suits our style of play but transition teams like New England take advantage of us uh that's fair uh poson boy n says he'll take that point of course we needed the three I I I I'm beyond taking the point right now we either until we know we're doomed too at least one for sure so yeah I I guess I guess we're seeing the uh think that in Portland those were Howers that they just it made him look mortal because like that's kind of I think the other thing is that berky in MLS looks like a superhero I I I talked to you about this like judging Ben loot against uh Roman berki is that Ben loot looks like a really good goalkeeper up against a superhero and then like in Portland uh berky looked like a guy like he looked like a good goalkeeper rather than a superhero this was a howler that was a Bry howler yeah yeah and and and good discussion here Mike pointing out that Gil is goal is strange he'll study it it looked like hell was destined to go wide but it rolled weird and stayed straighter I need to watch that a little bit more as well but then Kane follows it up not to defend but sometimes as a goalie there shots at even weak like that you just know you're not going to get and I will say this in the defense of berky on that goal it looked like that he was going one way and then the ball kind of went the other so like it would have been a hard for berky to even make a stab at it with this way momentum going would broken his ankle yeah yeah and we and they're playing on Turf and you know we have enough players with leg injuries lately so yeah and also like we also know that like berky hates to play in Seattle I don't think that he likes playing on Turf um I'm surprised that we even managed to get him play this game or in Portland but Jeremy also with a good point here it's the effort parallel to that the Cardinal fans booing a guy for not running out of grounder the first we'd have less of an issue if he at least tried I think that's a good point if if berky did make a stab at it I think because I think the issue I mean the rule is one um in MLS the natural position rule is actually not in place that is exclusively an EPL thing that is only a Prem rule um UEFA and FIFA like you know or I should say not necessarily you but FIFA does not have that natural position rule it is if it hits your arm above the shoulder it is a hand ball um what FIFA defines as the shoulder uh is up to anybody to figure out well as Kane says the rule is however the ref is feeling that day yeah ex exactly because there's uh because uh um the MLS rule is the FIFA FIFA rule which is if it hits your arm it's a hand hand ball um as long as it's below the shoulder and so like sometimes you might get a guy that like hits you like like it hits the ball like here and they'll they'll call that a hand ball sometimes you can get a guy that hits you out here it's like no that hit his shoulder and and then you [ __ ] Throw your arms up and you start shouting and you throw a brick through your TV and I I don't know your TV yeah um but like also like I mean like the uh the prem's idea of natural position or I guess it's not necessarily the PRS cuz I think that used to be the FIFA position then they walked it back but it is still kind of the PRS position um natural position has not really helped that much to be quite honest um it might help a little bit um but I think the most important thing that would help would be some consistency in coaching because I think that's the biggest thing in um in in why everyone in MLS is mad about the handball call is um no single ref calls a handball the same way no that's right if we had a different ref maybe it's different yeah um if there was some more uniformity in the way that the handball rule was called whether it's strict or loose like I don't care which way it ends up going but like just a little bit of uniformity between ref from ref cuz like you know the ref will call the game the way they're going to call the game but like mhm the eventually at some point the leak has to be like okay no it's called this way right like yeah speaking of things that are variable fotmob rankings so um fot mob had New England sanss as man of the match with an 8.5 they had hardle at an 8.4 but here's here's and here's why Mike thinks that F mob's player rankings are a bit drunk they only give iaic a 6.6 no I I I think iaic is a very deserving shout for man of the match I think hardell and he's always been the lone Striker do have you changed your mind after seeing this well well few things number one sometimes you don't know what you have until you try it out and I think tonight we I said that I did remember that I think when he was in Vancouver he played in the two Striker formation a lot so um I mean maybe he does have that in his locker but like yeah sometimes you just don't know until you actually see a player for your own eyes or see a system or scheme in your own eyes and yeah I'm very intrigued by a k clous beter partnership going forward the only issue I would have with it at least on a regular basis is that those are your two Strikers right now so we don't have an end dinin you know to be that change of pace guy you don't have a third yeah like the best you kind of position um that play sucked um and I think that people are going to rake him over the coals because we saw a lot of play of them like saw like a lot of shots like like that out of him when he was being asked to kind of do too much if you know what I mean um he's fine if if you ask him to come off the bench to play like Wing or like possibly even like you know like if it's clouse and beter replace like beter with Thor he would I think do okay there well and and and bucket hat makes a good point here BET's was 100% due to clouse making a run and pulling Defenders to him thus opening up that shooting Lane Jeremy follows that up but uh there was so many moments where clous made dummy runs or attempts that made open space and beter goal was a good example of that and I think I think this is where we can actually see klouse I think really blossom in this current system right now because we now have so many guys that can finish toyer hardle beter um Thor occasionally um I mean yeah we clouse can truly be that Decoy Striker he can you know we like cuz because I think that was the issue with him in the in the first half of the season is that yeah he can do all those things but no one besides him can put the ball in the back of the Nets well I okay so um I guess discarding Thor because uh he's a toy that we don't want to play with anymore um so so beter doesn't really quite have that ability to pull Defender on runs right he's more a holdup guy yeah um but clouse obviously had it he he's done it several we've seen him do it to open up goals or open up opportunities for goals um you know we talked about it extensively uh on that uh hardle goal last week uh even though hardle didn't use it he just one- Ed it um yeah so if if klouse can make like if clouse and beter are like the one two strike pairing and clouse can pull all of those Defenders away from beter and widen up that lane and then make beter wide open for hardle to feed him oh my goodness and Mike and Mike makes good point beter can learn to make those runs to pull Defenders for klouse who oh then we really in business that'd be great but you know what on the you know the the inverse of that works because as Mike points out Bard does seem to have a feel for when to play behind klouse and when to push ahead and let klouse distribute like they have that they had chemistry tonight they actually legit had chemistry and Mike makes an interesting comparison G and white have that thing working at Vancouver which by the way G and white are one reason why Simon beter is no longer in Vancouver because you know once once beter cooled off they it's not because he was bad it's because it's because he was going up against golden white yeah yeah and once and once that partnership became Elite it was like now it's like bers you know on the outside looking in so and off off a part Partnership of klouse and beter in St Louis good wouldn't it be beautiful to make a partnership of a beter in St yes I can do that um let me go ahead and take those out there we go and then by the way in case you are wondering the uh soccer zombie stickers look great on bougie mugs there you go there there it is right there by the way in case you're wondering why I have a Louisville city sticker on my Yeti mug no I've have not betrayed St Louis City St Louis FC rather I wanted to commemorate the Frankfurt match which you can see the Frankfurt sticker right under so well and also commemorate the king's cup right yes long live the king's cup the king's cup is dead long live the king's cup absolutely I I I've got enough St Louis stuff on that thing to counterbalance the Louisville City they also I know you got to get out of here I don't want to get start getting into a fight no is no you're good you're good um all right I about to start being like the reason why we have to you have the US Open cup is because then means that St Louis city can play uisville City well the other the other reason I have a Louisville city sticker on that is because like when I bought when I was in the team shop and I bought something from the team shop they threw in like six stickers so I was like well I got to use them so you know may as well um but yeah so thanks a lot for joining the watch along I wish the game was a little more entertaining it had its moments but as uh many of you have said including
