The Best Picks in ESPN Fantasy Football Drafts this year

Best RB Picks guys check this out okay currently going 46 picks later in ESPN drafts 68 picks later than Underdog 68 picks later I mean guys ESPN is clearly not seeing the value but you are going to see that value because you're watching this video if you are playing in an ESPN Fantasy Football League this year then this is the video for you we're going to identify the 20 best picks for Fantasy drafts on ESPN we're going to look at other platforms and see where the best value is compared to where other platforms rank these players now we're going to go through quarterbacks running backs wide receivers and tight ends so regardless of what position you're looking for check out the time codes cuz I got you on today's video let's win some ESPN fantasy football drafts okay the first running back we're going to talk about is chuba hubard chuba hubard is so cheap on ESPN it's actually ridiculous he is currently going 31 picks later on ESPN than he is in sleeper fantasy football drafts huge value you got to take him if you're going zero RB on ESPN Jonathan Brooks is clearly the guy to own second half of the season I think he's a League winner however he is coming off at torn ACL that happened in December of 2023 Carolina should be cautious with Jonathan Brooks they invested a second round pick in him he's a young player he's a foundational piece and they probably don't have expectations that they'll need Jonathan Brooks here in 2024 and recent reports have said that Brooks will likely be ready to play week three or four so the first four weeks of the season chuba will be your starter and Dave Canalis has made it clear that he wants to run the ball all offseason he has said we're going to run the ball he recently was quoted to have said so it's something that we're going to be stubborn about it's something that we're going to be committed to when he talks about running the ball and chuba Huard we saw him as a starter for this team from week six onwards in 2023 where he averaged over 19 touches per game 12 a half fantasy points per game and was the rb19 in fantasy football from week six onward so not a guy you want to be playing in the playoffs not a guy you want to trust season long but such a good value if you're going to look at running backs late in your ESPN drafts all right how about Trey Benson Trey Benson is currently going 29 picks later in ESPN drafts than he is on sleeper yeah let's talk about James Connor I get it James Connor is going to be very good he's a very good player but he's a lock to miss some games due to injury according to injury shark uh we have never seen James Conor play a healthy season in his career and they give him an 88.4% chance of injury this year in their database and 2.8 projected Miss games those are the fifth and 12th highest marks amongst running backs for them and Trey Benson's a round three NFL pick Let's look at some running backs who have made instant impacts as round three NFL pack picks excuse me recently Devon aan Taj Spears Brian Robinson David Montgomery Devin Singletary Alvin Kamar Kareem hunt all third round NFL draft picks that made instant impacts for their team teams and they had pretty pretty good running backs ahead of them as well and by the way Benson's just like very very good size speed burst short area quickness strength through contact pass catching ability he can do it all and he has had zero fumbles on 316 career attempts so if they need to rely on him if James Conor goes down with an injury I believe they'll be able to all right the third running back we're going to talk about is Gus Edwards Gus Edwards is going 23 picks later in ESPN drafts than he is on sleeper two full rounds later for Gus Edwards on ESPN why it makes no sense to me Gus is a must draft this year he should be the rb1 on a run focused offense if you look at Greg Roman and Jim Harbaugh's LED offenses in the NFL Greg Roman as an offensive coordinator this is what he's done in Baltimore right average over 33 attempts on the ground per year he's been in the top six in rushing attempts per game amongst NFL offenses every time he's been an off offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens and then if you look at Jim Harbaugh his offens is from 2011 to 2014 in the NFL with the 49ers he as well averaged over 30 rushing attempts per game if you're going to go zero RB this is like the best Target late in your drafts he should be on a good offense he should be the number one weapon he might fall into 10 rushing touchdowns again all right the fourth running back we can Target is Raheem moster currently going 20 picks later on ESPN then in sleeper drafts and by the way the reason I'm me mentioning sleeper drafts is just sleeper people who play on sleeper they're a little bit more active throughout the season the ADP changes more often on sleeper we'll talk about Underdog this is just where some of the sharper people play if you will the guys who are obsessed with fantasy football so Raheem Mo start going 20 picks later than uh sleeper this year and on average you have to draft aan 64 picks ahead of Raheem moer or 5 and a half rounds earlier so this is the affordable way to get a share of the Miami backfield which by the way last year the Dolphins had the most fantasy points from the running back position and by the way I'm not anti- Devon Anan it's just if you look at what these guys did last year fantasy points per game touches per game it's just it's hard to really pay that price for Devon aan and ask yourself if aan and moard have similar roles this year compared to last year are you going to regret taking Raheem moard I think you will be very very happy all right the fifth running back we're going to Target is downtown Chase Brown currently going 17 picks later in ESPN drafts than sleeper and 30 picks later than Underdog uh important to say this uh set low expectations for Chase Brown this year the likely outcome in Cincinnati is that this is a split backfield between himself and Zach Moss however it's a very cheap rb4 or rb5 on your roster with Joe burrow leading this Cincinnati offense the rb1 in Cincinnati whoever that might be maybe it's Moss maybe they split a backfield but you can see how good Joe Mixon has been for Fantasy Football in this offense even though he's been wildly inefficient you can see his yards per carry hovering around four yards per carry each of the last three years but each of the last three years averaging over 15 points per game including a season as a top five points per game scorer the fifth running back we're going to T Target is Jerome Ford Jerome Ford is currently going nine picks later in ESPN drafts then sleeper Nick chub his knee injury is about as bad as it possibly could get guys not only did he tear his ACL he tore his ACL in the same knee that he tore an ACL in back in college so two acl's torn one knee and not only did he tear his ACL he also tore his MCL just the worst injury you could possibly sustain outside of an Achilles and ultimately I don't project him to be a serious contributor for a while on this offense and if you look at Jerome Ford from week 2 to 17 last year when he was a starter for this Browns offense he averaged 52% of the snaps he AED 16 and a half touches per game 13.6 fantasy points per game and that span finished as the rb13 in that span he averaged more points per game than bejan Robinson DeAndre Swift and ra Andre Stevenson so those are the running backs we want to Target in ESPN drafts this does not mean you don't Target other running backs but these guys are just glaring values so let's get into the wide receivers just so you guys know I'm Best WR Picks going from the biggest values all the way down so the number one value in ESPN drafts at the wide wide receiver position this year is Brian Thomas Jr guys check this out okay currently going 46 picks later in ESPN drafts then sleeper drafts that is like four full rounds and 68 picks later in ESPN drafts than Underdog 68 picks later I mean guys ESPN is clearly not seeing the value of Brian Thomas but you are going to see that value because you're watching this video if you look at the Jacksonville Jaguars they have the fifth most vacant vacated Targets in the NFL this year with 251 targets available that means Calvin Ridley's gone Z Jones is gone Jamal agnu is gone and they have left behind 251 targets for someone to eat up that Target share 40% of their target Shar is available and 18 targets inside the 10 Brian Thomas is a fantastic pick I think you should definitely be drafting Brian Thomas this year do not be afraid to draft him he's going at the 1211 in ESP and 12 man drafts that's incredibly cheap first round talented wide receiver really good in the red zone go get you some Brian Thomas as a late round flyer in ESPN all right the second wide receiver we are targeting is Curtis Samuel all right Curtis Samuel is going 29 picks later in ESPN then he is over on sleeper and 61 picks later in ESPN then he is over on Underdog the bills which is the team he's now on have the second most vacated Targets in the entire league over 54% of their targets are up for grabs because they lost Stefon Diggs they lost Gabe Davis and Curtis Samuel's best ever fantasy season was in 2020 where he put over 14 points per game up on the board for Fantasy Football that was in 20120 guess who his offensive coordinator was that year it was Joe Brady Joe Brady yeah the same guy who will be his offensive coordinator in 2024 with the Buffalo Bills bet on some Curtis Samuel he's a fantastic pick the third wide receiv we're targeting is lad makoni or as I like to call him lad the space Creator cuz all my guy does is get open it's 711 constantly 247 L makoni is currently going 32 picks later in ESPN drafts than sleeper and 48 picks later in ESPN drafts then Underdog the Chargers have the most vacated Targets in the entire NFL they have 395 targets vacated meaning 395 targets available in the offense that were counted to players that are no longer on this team they are gone Keenan Allen Mike Williams Austin Eckler Gerald Everett all right 63% of the Chargers Target share is up for grabs Insanity do not be afraid to draft lad makoni I know everyone's saying well the Chargers are going to run the ball the Chargers are going to run the ball sure they're also going to throw the ball guys like they're going to also have to throw the ball and Jim Harbaugh has had a ton of success with fantasy wide receivers in his offenses as an NFL head coach let's go back to his Niner days okay Michael Crabtree in 2011 was a wide receiver 27 then in 2012 the wide receiver 15 in 2013 he had Anquan Balden as a wide receiver 15 and Vernon Davis is a top five tied end in fantasy football and then in 2014 Anquan Balden was a wide receiver 18 yeah so worst case scenario Jim Harbaugh's best worst fantasy wide receiver in the NFL was wide receiver 27 there is going be huge value in the Chargers offense all right the fourth wide receiver we are targeting is Malik neighbors currently going 25 picks later in ESPN then sleeper and 39 picks later in ESPN then Underdog the Giants have 130 vacated targets over 25% of their target shares available no saquin no Darren Waller trust me you want to bet on rookie wide receivers with a profile like Malle neighbors wide receivers that are drafted top six in the NFL draft in the last five years there's two of them their names are Jamar Chase Jaylen Wadd and in those players rookie Seasons both of them smashed their ADP like absolutely destroyed their ADP Malik neighbors should do the same and if you look at wide receivers drafted in the top 10 in the last five years this is their average Target share Chase Wadd Smith London Wilson on average 24.7% of the target share as a rookie neighbors might get an even higher Target market share than some of these names the fifth wide receiver we are targeting is Rashi rice aka the pizza man if you know you know currently going 29 picks later in ESPN than sleeper drafts and 43 picks later in ESPN then Underdog drafts let's remove the off field issues okay what's not to love about rasid rice if we remove the off field issues he had one of the best rookie wide receiver seasons ever for a Kansas City chief if you look at rice and all of the Chiefs rookie wide receivers all time he was third in targets okay first in receptions second in receiving guards and receiving yards per game and second in receiving touchdowns oh and by the way he's connected to the best quarterback of Our Generation and he was the guy we've already seen him being able to be the guy for this team if you look at week 11 onwards for the Chiefs after their bye-week he was a wide receiver nine in fantasy football he was averaging 17 points per game he was getting almost nine targets per game from week 11 onwards he averaged more points per game than Mike Evans Michael Pitman Brandon auk dvon Smith DK metf Chris alive Cooper cup Jamar Chase AJ Brown Garrett Wilson and Stefan Diggs do not be afraid to draft Rashid rice his court case is not going to happen at any point that's going to interrupt this season he is a safe pick and that is the only reason he's available so late down draft boards the sixth player we are going to Target at the wide receiver position is tank Dell currently going 19 picks later in ESPN than sleeper drafts and 37 picks later in ESPN than an underdog he has just as much of a chance of being this team's wide receiver one as any other wide receiver on that offense and I stand by that just as much of a chance as Nico Collins and Stefan Diggs but he's the cheapest option from weeks 8 to 12 last year in his rookie season tankel finally became a starter for this team and from weeks eight onwards you can see his snap percentage goes up targets per game go up receiving yards per game go up and in that time span he averaged over 20 points per game which was fifth best amongst wide receivers in that span Tang Dell is that dude he's got that connection with CJ shroud don't sleep on him the seventh receiver we are targeting is Drizzy Drake London currently going 15 picks later in ESPN than sleeper drafts and 18 picks later in ESPN than Underdog Drake London has had a dominant Target share in his first two years averaging 25.5% of the targets of his offense he's been peppered with those targets the issue has been he has been stuck on a low passing volume offense if you look at the the Falcons versus the Vikings in the past two years the Falcons 31st and 25th in passing attempts the Vikings third and fourth in passing attempts in the last two years what's the big difference between those two teams one had Kirk Cousins one had absolutely nobody worth talking about in Marcus Mariota and Desmond Ritter and yes shade intended imagine what London could have done as a wide receiver one in a Kirk Cousins L offense don't overthink it Go draft you some some uh Drake London he is very reasonably priced on ESPN now not only is tank Dell reasonably priced so is Nico Collins Nico Collins on ESPN is like very reasonable compared to every other platform he's currently going nine picks later in ESPN then sleeper and 21 picks later in Underdog ESP like I said the one site where Nico Collins draft you know price is reasonable he's the 402 in a 12-man Draft on ESPN right now and we know this Nico averaged over 17 points per game last year with CJ shroud then he gets a contract extension ESPN is a one League where I feel really comfortable paying the price for niiko Collins all right let's move on to tit end then we'll get to quarterbacks at Best TE Picks Titan how about Brock Bowers currently going 38 picks later in ESPN then he is in sleeper I get it he's a rookie tight end but we are seeing rookie Tight End Produce quicker and quicker Sam laapa last year and then we also had dton conade last year who finished as a top 12 tight end there is reason to believe that with his profile with his draft Capital with how talented Brock Bowers is how good of a prospect he is he could produce from day one all right how about Kyle pittz Kyle Pitts is currently going 18 picks later in ESPN than he isn't sleeper and friendly reminder guys the last time Kyle Pitts had even average Quarterback play in it was his rookie season with Matt Ryan in that rookie season Kyle Pitts made history okay he was one of two tight ends with a th000 receiving yards as a rookie all right one of five tight ends with at least 68 receptions one of four tight ends with 110 targets and one of three tight ends with 15 plus yards per reception this is in the last 20 years guys it's a like he's made you know history as a rookie and since that time he's had terrible quarter back play Marcus Mariota Desmond Ritter they've been bottom of the league in passing efficiency and passing grades now he gets Kirk Cousins who we just saw make T.J hawson a fantasy Superstar do not second guess Kyle pittz he's a great pick how about Dalton conade currently going 15 picks later in ESPN than he is in sleeper the bills like we talked about with Curtis Samuel second most vacated Targets in the NFL I predict Dalton concade is going to be the number one weapon in this offense as far as Target share goes all right the fourth Titan we're going to talk about is Trey McBride who is currently going a full round later in ESPN then he is on sleeper if you look at McBride's averages with Kyler Murray in 2023 he averaged over eight targets per game almost seven receptions per game about 15 fantasy points per game and was a tight end four from when Kyler Murray joined this team onwards remember last year the tight end one was Sam lorta and he average 14.1 points per game so McBride with Kyler Murray was actually better than an entire season of Sam lorta with Jared gof if you look at a a per game basis all right and I got two quarterbacks to finish off this list for you guys let's talk about Jaden Daniels Best QB Picks first off currently going nine picks later in sleeper and 22 picks later on Underdog or on ESPN compared to Underdog rather and Jaden Daniels just has that rushing upside if anyone's going to be the surprised quarterback this year it might be Caleb Williams but Jayden Daniels because he can rush for 500 600 7 100 yards he's so electric he's the only player in college football ever to have 350 passing yards and 200 plus rushing yards in a single game he is dynamic do not be afraid to bet on jayen Daniels late in your drafts if you're going to skip on some of the elite quarterbacks and the next name is Kyler Murray Kyler Murray a guy who's already in his career averaged over 20 points per game in two seasons currently going nine picks later in ESPN then sleeper and 15 picks later than in the ESPN than underd Underdog sorry words are hard so all right big breath that
