asked about the run defense and whether that was a concern coming into this year now I think a lot of people look at the yard there they weren't very good if you look at yards per carry they actually were better than what they get credit for but with that said when I asked Robert Sol say if when we want to stop the run we'll stop the run and they did stop it in the first half you knew that they were going to come the 49 Le with the success of the 49 and how they and they didn't two add to the either so the 49ers are having a night running the football against this [Applause] defense stop Mike Williams Kyle signed a one-year deal former charger coming off a torn ACL in the first half was involved in four snaps so they are easing him back in and we have not seen much at all of number 18 in his new uniform no we haven't and and we haven't seen anything from Alan Lazard either he dropped the ball earlier and and this was going to be kind of his reemerging game after last season and the struggles that he went through but he's yet to have a catch play action from Rogers again pressure off the edge and the pass is broken up and now picked off intercepted by fling and fouls after the sightings of the night for big number 18 not a part of that play as Bree Hall gets two well Mike Williams you go back to last year prior to that injury he he tore his ACL in the third week of the Season he had 19 catches at that point so he was off to a huge start in 2023 before he had that unfortunate injury and has been very limited in Camp hasn't been practicing a whole lot well they could sure use him and really anybody who's eligible getting down the field making a play for Aaron Rodgers second down and eight Rogers back pedaling in a drop by Bree Hall he's fumbled tonight and that one right in his hands couldn't haul it in Hall one of the young stars of this league in his third year but that drop brings up third [Applause] down third and long you know he's going to probably be short he's going to to make someone Miss if he makes that catch he doesn't so rather than third and two third and three maybe you're looking at third and eight maybe four down territory here if they don't pick it up I would think so they're going to get a free play Rogers is the master at it and a touchdown by Lazard nobody in the league has thrown more touchdowns on free plays than Aaron Rogers
