Midfield yard short of a first down as Fred Warner forced him out get the ball into hands of gree hall right away and then one-on-one with DeAndre Campbell a veteran player you know they were fortunate that they were able to bring in a guy like that after they they lose Dre Greenlaw just an outstanding football player who's coming back from his torn Achilles that he suffered in the Super Bowl like get him back looked like Hall might have gotten 10 either way now a catch by Garett Wilson and a first down nonetheless in a gain of six for the Jets yeah so they got the quick passing game going getting the ball out of rogers's hand fast and and getting some easy completions right now there's a night for Aaron Rogers 14 of 20 one touchdown one interception 173 yds and right now one pretty big hill to climb as the officials shut this play down after replay assist it is an complete pass so now they're taking the first down away on the catch by Garett Wilson and that means it'll be third down and one right foot and the left foot on the line that's a nice job by the officials going back I yeah I thought it was a sure completion but that's a that's a good job by them in New York sure is [Music] so now it's third down and one see I compliment the officials sometimes Russell good to see good to see they do a good job Russell jurk ladies and gentlemen he'll be with us all year and there's Aaron Rogers trying to help out the uh thing around the neck of G Wilson he has only got one catch in the second second half third down and a yard as the crowd comes to life gree Hall what this 49ers offense has done the offensive line was a big question mark coming in a lot of people didn't think they had done enough to address it you've got Trent Williams who obviously is all world who missed all of camp they're getting after this vaunted defensive front and they're doing it without Christian mcaffrey I mean it's it's just amazing what they've been able to accomplish here tonight and Jordan Mason in the night that he has had well big Trent Williams back out there for the 49ers Isaac gendo fourth round pick from Louisville rookie is out there but for the most part it's been Jordan Mason who's carried the ball more times tonight San Francisco than he has since high school not even a Georgia back as Jordan Mason carried the ball this many times forget the pros but not even in college is 28 carries 147 yards we'll look back standing just a an exceptional win against what everyone believes is going to be a quality opponent in the Cleveland Browns cie in trouble gets to the ground and out of the zone of Michael Clemens who was in down on it you know so a big win for the Cowboys on the road and week one I don't care it's yes it's one of 17 they all count the same it just feels like week one always feels a little bigger and means a little more because of how much time you put into it but the big wins in my opinion Joe were the Chiefs Eagles and lions to have there's organizations that say get us to the Super Bowl that for the 49ers I mean they've been in the NFC champ game for the Last 5 Years they've been to two Super Bowls that's not the goal it's it's getting it done finally and uh this is a good first step without their big weapon on offense in mcaffrey here's Hall and a nice Carry Out near Midfield well and and we've been asked and I know the 49ers have been asked hey you know what does it take in order to get over the hump and win a Super Bowl they've been there on the doorsteps of winning a Super Bowl they' just got to make one play they got to make one stop and they win so the first step really in doing that was getting Trent Williams and and Brandon auk signed they've done that because as we alluded to earlier once they have to pay pry they're going to have to make some really tough decisions on a lot of people but on the other side of this this has been a humbling night for the New York Jets Taylor takes the high snap and is to have a touch he's 20 years old Shanahan Kyle loving a challenge he had a big one tonight to play this game without mcaffrey and they just found a way Jordan Mason 28 carries 147 yds a touchdown Jake Moody tying a club record with six field goals made and 49ers with eight straight scoring drives it's impressive wasn't always perfect but it's impressive no and you talked about that this is the most carries that Jordan Mason has had since high school here's Garett Wilson on first down and a minute and a half to go you know I know he had some carries in in pre-season and all that but still not to this extreme and he's going to be good and sore tomorrow morning and this week and that's going to be the best soreness he's ever had and there's a look at Brian greasy the quarterback coach for the 49ers talking with Brock pie Taylor keeps it alive gets away from the sack and a flag flies at the end of the play after a first down catch by Garrett wilsonon you see an official without a hat that means forward pass number five offense that player went out of bounds returned inbounds and was the first to touch the pass the penalty is enforced as a loss of down at the previous spot third down so now third down and short with a minute six to go Wilson and Rogers good on that third possession that some of them take the ball down the field get it into the end zone They had the free play and a touchdown to Lazard and those are the highlights tonight here's Lazard first down to the 10 tell you think about this New York Jets team you know here they are on the west coast they got a long flight cross country back to New York tonight short week they turn right around they're back on the road next week at Tennessee it's uh going to be a pretty quiet flight interception by Flanigan fouls here's a free play he looks for number 10 rard like he would in Green Bay Yard when we there's that fourth down try on fourth down and one so a little bit of everything but not enough sustained success and the defense couldn't make any stops when they have here Taylor down inside the five he's going to be good and big thing is gete either on the ground and and really just take any of the clapping and and you can tell by his demeanor that he's he's going to be I mean he'll be you know as a quarterback especially a guy who's been in the league as long as as he has how are you going to handle this you know are you to go as and be frustrated and vocal positive and build people up and it's pretty obvious watching him that he's going to build up the young players let him know that hey we knew this was going to be a tough road game to open up against what most people believe I do for sure that you know this is the strongest team in the NFC going into this year and you know it's one of 17 see if we can't bounce back on a short week and get ready to play and go win a game they have if you look at the records from a year ago last season the fourth easiest schedule in air quotes this season and that's the beginning of it at Tennessee as Troy said earlier against New England against Denver at Minnesota they'll see their former quarterback Sam darnold who looked outstanding in yesterday's win against the Giants in that one and this
