what 15 in 15 minutes we've got Los Pumas versus the Wes a fing late night game it's 11:00 where I am um which means it's 12:00 in South Africa hence why I've been given the job of doing this uh this match uh not not much of an issue there uh I I quite like these little these these little games um and if one of us is going to do it I suppose you know it makes sense that the person who's going to see it the earliest in their time zone um hope you're all doing fantastically uh and considering most of you are South Africans uh I bet you're enjoying the the victory of the All Blacks it was a uh hell of a game um I thought the Box weren't fantastic to be honest but uh Hey a sign of a good team is when you cannot play well and still win so uh good for them congrats to all of you um uh who who are we supporting today I saw most people in the vote 75 of you have voted so far I saw most people are supporting Argentina and uh that doesn't surprise me in all honest hly um I am certainly supporting Argentina and I hope they uh they do they get they get a w over the Aussies I'm English so it makes sense I uh I'll never support Australia and I really enjoy when they're doing this badly um but it's quite a um it's quite a I suppose an an emotionally charged test match this one um it is going to be Augustin ky's uh final uh test match for artina uh in which he will leave the uh International Rugby I suppose Arena as not only the most capped pummer of all time he's the most capped Captain and I what was the other one he's he's got one other um uh what is it he's got one other [Music] um what's his name one other Accolade uh let me see most cap cap most Capp oh most World Cup matches for Argentina that was his other his other um his other Accolade that he bows out with which is uh you the guy is crazy he's 39 and I mean you know he he gets he gets asked to come out of retirement by the now coach Felipe koni a legend in his own right for Argentina and um you know comes out of retirement and scores a try to beat New Zealand I mean it's pretty good at at 39 I think he's still he might have left leester at the end of this season but he was with them for a while uh I'm not sure if he's still there though um but oh so he might or he might be at sale now actually okay 2 that doesn't seem right Premiership match on the 28th of August that was three days ago there's no way that that must have been last year um unless he's just been randomly flown around every every now and then so this is round three as I'm sure you know um this is at the estadio George L hiri um okay in South America uh where Argentina will host Australia um Argentina in third they would still they'll still be in third um and can well they can go into second if they get a good win here um Australia don't have any they don't have any points yet so they're looking just to get their campaign underway after two rather thorough dismantling from the uh the box which let's be honest we all saw coming um although the Box wer fabulous in the rain but still ended up putting them away um so yeah Australia looking to get their first point let alone uh let alone get first Victory um the biggest issue that Argentina have had and it's shown it's shown it to them or rather it's shown its head again in this tournament is that they struggle to back up a you know historic win with a good performance let alone a win um they always have like a a huge blowout of emotion and put in a massive shift and then the next game they fall to pieces and it happened again um against this Australian side I they certainly should win um but you know the I I I think Australia are are going to build towards something it's just going to take a long time um and they they um they do have the issue of Rugby Union is just losing popularity I think in Australia in general and so many players are going to uh rugby league um there are so many other sports that I think take precedence in Australia and it's it's certainly why they're part of the reason they're struggling um but you know Argentina it's it's so exciting I mean they're technically if you go World Cup standings they are the fourth best side in the world um narrowly losing the bronze medal match to England um which you know is is is a good sign I mean we remember arent Argentina have always been an interesting side I remember you know back in 2007 in France when they put fr the hosts to the sword twice in one tournament um um and they always turn up at World Cups somehow they just do um and it's it's it's great to see I mean obviously they their World Cup would have been better if they hadn't just completely Lo like lost the plot in the first game against England thank God they did um but you know they they when their backs are up and they're playing well they are class um and Australia you know they've been left in an absolute turbulent and tumultuous um state after Eddie Jones and his his absolute fcal run at the World Cup but they've got a you know their new coach they brought in Joe Schmidt and he is one of the best and he needs to have time I think it would be too far too quick to just pull the trigger and just be like no he's lost what three games or whatever get him out I mean don't forget he came in beat Wales twice yes Wales are crap them themselves and yes still find a way to beat England um but you know it's it's a better start than probably they saw coming um and they Australia do have talent they do and and yes they're debuting a lot of players I think there's another debut ton in the team and I think there's a new captain today as well we'll certainly go through the team in uh a couple of minutes but we'll also take a look at their form um if you look at well obviously Argentina have won one lost one in this championship Australia have lost both but if you look at their previous form in all competitions um if you look at their last six games Argentina have 13 lost three so 60% but Australia have 1 14 lost two bear in mind two of those were against Georgia uh two of those were against Wales and one was against Georgia so I mean and Georgia were fantastic in that game God they were good um but Argentino have lost their last game won the one before won the three before that um whereas Australia one4 then have now lost two both of them back Tob back to South Africa it kind of expected um so this will be an interesting one they'll both be looking to turn around their competitions Argentina could go second Argentina are technically in the running for first if they went and won all the rest of their games um I mean they'd have to be seriously impressive um but it would it would also requ yeah it would require big shift because sou Africa obviously you know they're three wins from three um but we'll go through we'll go through the um the starting lineups and we'll also talk about the kind of the big names the people who are back especially for Australia they they've been bolstered especially in the front row and we'll go through it just now but um so we'll go through Argentina first the home home team and we got Thomas gajo Julian Montoya old Mona um and Joe slavy in the front row Franco Molina and rubiola in the um the lock pairing you got Mata the uh Captain I think I'm he must be Captain today um and krema uh in six and seven uh and you'll see them working their bloody asses off they they are such workhorses as well as Juan Martin Gonzalez I mean he's he's rapid he's strong um if they get him good ball in good good field position they'll they'll they'll be a serious threat those specifically him though uh then on back line you got Gonzalo betano um and then 10 and 11 you got the carreres Santiago at 10 Mato at 11 and mono if he gets open in open space he is deadly um probably one of The Unsung not necessarily unsung but people don't seem to rate him that much at least they don't they don't say he you know they don't hold him in that high esteem Santiago chocob Barz at 12 he is one of the best 12s in the world he is so good and he's shown it in this this championship and he's shown it in you know in Fairly recently he is so good so talented and especially his pairing with Lucio cinti um they've they've definitely got a really good Midfield Argentina and they're very exciting to watch uh and then the backline is rounded out by Santiago Cordo on the other wing and Juan Cruz Malia Malia is brilliant but he has random moments of just kind of not being there very very he's a very hit and miss kind of player but when he's on he's amazing uh then on to the bench and we've got creevy who will be playing his 110th uh test cap and I'm pretty sure this is his last he's retiring after this game uh so he's ending on a home game which is which is quite nice um and yeah so I think the talk is that this will be his last test after coming out of retirement um Mo Vivas 17 Eduardo B Bell at 18 Guido petti 19 Thomas lavanini the um yellow red card machine uh hakin oo at 21 um bazan VES at 22 and albos at 23 then quickly on to Australia we've only got about four minutes till the game starts uh we've got Angus Bell and Angus Bell Matt fesler and tanelli tupo in the front row so Australia certainly looking to attack that look the argentin scrum is not as good as it used to be and Australia with their two best props back certainly probably looking to attack that Nick Frost and Lucan salak Koto um four and five Rob alatini at number six Carlo Tano at seven and Harry Wilson at eight Jake Gordon and noio pretty much keeping up that 910 pairing got to admit they've got to find a better flly they' got to find a better pairing than that they're just not going to cut it against the biggest sides Corti at 11 Hees Stewart getting I think his first start I think his first start um at 12 and I think it's his debut after being in Australian squads since like 2019 he just never got onto the field uh lenck out at 13 Andrew kellway at 14 and Tom Wright at 15 uh and then on the bench we' got Josh nassa Isaac CA Alan Al Jeremy Williams langy gleon Tate mcdermut Ben Donaldson and Max Jorgenson that's an exciting new player in jensson um the kind of overall prediction that we're getting is about 2417 to Australia um who's that Russo Argentino ah I'm not too bad mate how you doing y vamos Pumas I want them to win as well I hope they are really show up today um I think players to watch out for certainly Cordo class chocobar is always um and if Santiago Carreras goes well he's brilliant but he's again he's a bit hit and miss um Harry Wilson is the captain for the strip of South America um and he's the 90th player to lead the team and the eighth he's the eighth Captain for Australia in the last 15 tests that's crazy shows how new the team is um but yeah so exciting it's exciting game there's a lot you know obviously a lot to play for but there's a lot of for Australia there's kind of like right let's just throw [ __ ] at the wall and see what sticks um and as a new coach what what do you reckon do you reckon that's kind of or do you reckon that that's a really tough spot to be in I think it it kind of gives it allows for a new kind of mentality to be brought in by a coach which can be helpful and especially after Eddie Jones and his absolute faral [ __ ] that he got up on on up up to probably not a bad thing um but of all four kits in this team in this Championship Argentina both of them Argentina Home and Away by far my favorite kits I love the blue and white of Argentina they are it is so nice and it is one of the rugby kits I will definitely be getting at some point um but the game is what less than a minute until we start uh so obviously like And subscribe Juan Cruz Malia uh certainly a lot of players to watch out for Hopefully the rain doesn't play too much of a uh a part in this but I it probably will um well we'll see what happens we can only we can only wait and see can't we uh what was the cup called again I don't remember what the cup they play for is called well it's not a cup it's more like a huge vase type thing but uh yeah the Wes in their in their you know their tracksuit in the uh well I can only describe is kind of green gray green and uh kind of mustard yellow it's kind of weird kind of yellow [Music] but like didn't expect that yeah it's nice I mean and I I don't like Australia so irritating um yeah it's look it's 11 o'clock five past 11 I might just go off and talk about random stuff every now and then you're just G to have to uh bear with me on that some uh light shows going on here in Argentina um the the wallabies are lined up but Argentina have not yet emerged uh they're coming out now I love that Argentina kit it is sh God is good I yeah I I I have I already have a collection rug kits and I know I'm going to get more and that is just one of them I really want I want the white arent the white Italian kit I want that Argentinian kit I also want the AR the Argentina away away kit the one that's a like Navy then with a white stripe down the mid like the middle the I think they used it once in the World Cup um that is probably the best kit in the world right now oh that's good um but unfortunately they don't use it that much and here come Argentina lots of fireworks interesting they don't run out of the center of the stadium they run out slightly to the side it's weird when that kind of stuff happens like a couple of stadiums in New Zealand where they run out from like under the poles uh which is always strange um that is CR alongside lavanini Kema being absolute unit of a man with an absolute unit of a beard lavanini being a unit of a man who gets a lot of cards he's been better recently in all fairness but Jesus I think he's the most red and yellow carded player in in the world might be um it's not a great reputation have but clearly doesn't hurt his chances of making the Z he's very good but he's a often a liability I reckon um so I think we're just waiting for the anthems turning it up so I can actually hear any um yeah guys get your uh predictions and uh all that kind of jazz in the uh in the comments would love to uh obviously uh get some predictions from you guys see how close we can get I oh I think I said Argentina by three or I might have said five um but yes I I Argentina should win doesn't mean they will but they should just going through the anthems now um who needs to have a good game for well I mean coretti never really has a bad game he gets cards sometimes but uh they certainly need their front Road stand up after excuse me God I'm going to Y on a lot it's late um I always found the Australian national anthem to be I don't know it feels bit pretentious I don't know why but it just does um it's definitely the for me it's like the Le my least favorite anthem of the four in this competition uh um Kaya Souther Argentina by 10 I would have said that if it was dry actually I might have said more if it was dry but with how wet it is I think it might be close um the rain is swirling oh the cool National an artina love it shave oh Argentina's Anthem is the one that's got the really long intro isn't it it's a really nice musical piece in all honesty um where am I I am in Edinburgh Scotland yeah Aussie anthem's the worst a lot um I really like New Zealand's but I mean South Africa's is the best and then I'd probably say Argentinas I like Argentinas it's really musical it's theatrical um but I do like New Zealand's I love the Mari part of New Zealand's one um but Anem is probably the best Anthem in the world in all H um I think as an England fan I I personally think the England national anthem is the worst of all of them it is so bad and so boring like God we need to get rid of this um I I to be fair I love uh Scotland's an Scotland's anthem's brilliant um who else has got I mean yeah um France got a great one as well there are so many so many good anthems but there are so many bad ones too um and England is awful I go with you yeah what what what are you asking you're saying yeah what I am I saying that right ke Kaa might be Kaa Sal sounds very Scottish [Music] um oh this Anthem is so long oh actually let's see let's see who's in the chat at the moment who uh who watched Mata play for the Crusaders and what did you think of his time there I thought mix bag oh yeah yeah that's my but if if you talk about rugby Championship yeah that would be my order I'd put sou Africa Argentina New Zealand Australia this Anthem is way too long it's still going oh my God it's still going it's so cool but it's too long it's so long it's literally about six times longer than the English English one oh well what are you good start for them the line out looks like it's just inside the 22 Jake Gordon looks like he's a hundred years old like he looks so ancient he's got no gray hair but his just facial structure makes him look so old oh that's right I was saying creevy was at Leicester that was a while ago monosha is at Leicester now cev's been at sale for a while oh it looks like there's been a head knock for Argentina already and it's number five is that rubiola uh number five rubiola yeah Pedro rubiola gets caught so he's gonna go off probably for an hi um and it looks like lanini is going to come on to over here surely oh yeah and Argentina scored the first try of the game through a rolling Mall there been a lot of Mall tries today not only did Argentina get the first point points they get the first try as well and it is through Juan Martin Gonzalez whose boot has come off good try there really good try from Argentina very patient on that mall very well worked ju um Juan Martin Gonzalez is a good player he's really good tell you what um what's his name Carrera is gonna have he's got 10 seconds left well he's he's taking it now so he's fine uh and he's slotted another one right down the middle two from Two and that is 10 points to nil for Argentina really strong start from them especially after that huge bout of pressure from Australia but went nowhere what this um creevy showing his absolute appreciation for that try oh and coret is going to be done here penalty against coretti because he's tackled uh MATA in the air I swear coret is like always in that kind of gray area of doing like bad [ __ ] and yet he always kind of that I mean look that's not a card or anything but I mean he always he always gets away with everything yeah definitely a penalty 100% a penalty uh so Carreras will have a chance to clear the lines gets it out of the 22 brings play about 5 me from halfway that's three penalties conceded by Australia already one to Argentina toha just trying to get the ball drive so he can throw it in so don't forget Argentina have lost one of their two Lin out so far or one of the three I guess monosha throws to the back oh it's a good take under the under
