every time that we're performing we really need to train quite a lot but because we're experiencing in a heat wave right now it's making it much harder it's air conditioned inside but we have to take it this was better than the movie and the movie did hundreds of this is better this is sequel I love it I don't want remake it vote remake the movie with gold now Ronnie what is the best part about dancing with rhythm I think it's about being able to show that you can speak two different languages and still connect and I hope this is a message that people will take not just for this kind of show but for living in general the moment we made it through I knew exactly what we had to do for our semifinal performance and that was to tell the story of Bry Rose my daughter who we lost in 2020 I've learned after losing my daughter bryley that grief is like a fire and you can let that fire consume you and burn you down or you can let that fire fuel you lift you up and it can become passion that can lead to your purpose after we lost Bry I saw my first drone show in December of that year and that was the first time where I saw something I was like that is awesome and I want to figure out how to do that I did a real 180 with my entire life you know I left my law career and I put it all into Sky elements to make it the best it could be this performance is definitely a love letter to my daughter and what better place to tell the story of Briley my rose the Pasadena the city of roses the reminders of those we've lost are everywhere you just have to keep your eyes open and look around as long as you truly believe their presence is still with you no one is ever really gone Briley Rose I feel your presence in so many things and I know you still with [Music] me all of the time took American culture by watching American movies and I've noticed every time when America makes a movie about Africa it doesn't make sense to Africans yeah I was watching The Lion King the other day I was like why do these Lions have American accents and they're like in Africa and here's the M up part the only animal they gave an accent was the monkey what yeah and it was Caribbean what is this what kind of Africa is this you know but I'll give them this though the only accent that made sense to me as an African was Scar's accent because he was British and he wanted land I was like ha that sounds very familiar we've been there before Oh my God man I love America I'm realizing that I wish I had the life of your dogs in America oh my God if African dogs find out how your dogs are living yeah
