On not showing any complacency against Servette going into the second leg how worry are you about keeping the players away from maybey because you end up oh yeah absolutely will be a tough game I don't have any doubt uh complacency I don't think because we just uh you know we just won two two two games in a row no more than that and we need to be ready because as I said will be will be very tough game Team News - Romeo Lavia, Reece James, Malo Gusto and Pedro Neto you er no Romeo is still out uh reys is still out and then uh Pedro and Malo they are not involved in the squad for tomorrow game just for prevention not for any problem do you have On when to expect Lavia and James back in full training frame hopefully after the international break hopefully On focusing on football Ken this also Coes the last we of thef your first in the Premier League how is this how you found it is it being Astic as it can look to the F uh I I said many times I think the most important thing for us is just to try to be focused on you know on on what we have every day in terms of players Squad and in the way we want to try to to improve the team this is uh the only thing that we can control try to this kind of long ball for the two guys that at front they are very tall and they win most of the time the the the duels and then from there start second ball and off the ball they are very before a On not being able to change when the transfer window closes game in Europe which could have a large bear on Chelsea season how many games you have to play this season is it right that the expect a very tough game and these kind of games are games that uh you know you want to knil at home and you think that uh it's it's done almost done and it's not like this it's not like this especially in this you know in this pitch in this environment so we need to be absolutely ready and finish On the quality of Servette's pitch off are you worried thech yeah no I I saw the pitch now I already saw the pitch on television watching the game is not uh uh it's not doesn't look a good pitch to be honest uh but uh we need to be good uh we need to adap immediately otherwise we going to we're going to struggle welcome back to Switzerland um On his time at FC Basel you're obviously very familiar in I was wondering what your experience exper good afternoon everyone first of all um it was uh I was one season at basil as everyone knows I grew so much as a player my time there was amazing and it made me stronger uh mentally especially and I experienced a lot of a lot of good times some tough times as well uh but it made me a better person and to try and build the the player I am today and it was a very nice time On experiencing different clubs in different countries and that help ad absolutely uh my time in Germany especially because I went out of my comfort zone the first time um it made me grow so much cuz you passed through some hard times without your family alone uh but everything makes you grow I'm a person that um I analyze everything uh and I try to use it in the best way possible uh and all those experiences made me the player and the person I am today and I'm very glad and I just want to keep building and keep it moving how it feel finally getting being On being part of a new generation of Chelsea players part of this kind of another new generation of chelse players there a new generation every year and see coming through being part of this new manager new Squad new approach you fun get chelse in the Premier League just grateful to be honest um grateful to wake up every day and know I'm a Chelsea player um to put this this kit on to have this on my chest it's amazing the feeling is amazing and just want to give my my best every day uh to to please the fans to please the the staff to please my family at home and uh yeah just just grateful is that your favorite t-shirt at the moment yes yeah know just grateful to be honest really really this from your perspective what's your I like to live in the present um that's my that's my answer I like to live in the present um win every game because you play for Chelsea you have to win every game that's the expectation um and we live in the present and the future only God knows and god holds yeah having seen the result against b a On contacting his former team-mates after FC Basel's 6-0 win against Servette few weeks back did you have any any Communications with your old teammates about the result against Bal yeah yeah um they had a good victory five if I'm not in six so it was uh I didn't see the game uh but I spoke with them and they said the result was top but the game was not maybe for six 6 nil so we have to be with our eyes open and uh we are um we trained we trained well and we're ready for tomorrow okay we SP in the United States and I On living in the present think we asked you at the time you know whether you beay getting you are stayel time know do you feel ready now to compete to start I I felt ready back I feel ready now um I like to live in the present as I said before uh the transfer window hasn't closed uh today I'm a Chelsea player uh like all my other teammates but we never know uh so I just want to do the best today tomorrow every day that I'm that I'm here and I like to live in the present and I'm very glad to to to put on this shirt you quite like On competing with Marc Cucurella for a starting spot competing with for sure what a player what a guy um I love competing he loves competing as well that's how you build a a healthy relationship and a healthy group with a lot of competition internal competition and uh yeah we have a really nice group with a quality very high and we have to be spot on you say spot on spot on every day every training every match so so we can do the best for Chelsea yeah On not expecting an easy match mik a lot of people in England associate Switzerland with be neutral Wars the Geneva Convention peace and Tranquility give your experience of Swiss football is it is it TR here or Chelsea in for a bit of a shock if they think it's going to be a nice stroll in the no we don't think this we don't think this uh we know it's a different pitch a different match for the first leg um so we have to be spot on with our eyes open and uh the manager already spoke about this previously and he already passed the message as well and yeah we have to be ready for tomorrow and we are fin one On his preferred position there I know you're fromed I I'm comfortable as you know in a lot of places in the pitch and I just I just want to play as much as possible left back Center back Midfield wherever the gaffer understands that it's the best for this specific match so um we'll see we'll see and I'm just very happy to be here we do have one more one time On adapting to the high level at Chelsea that's a kind of a vague question uh it's of course Chelsea one of the biggest clubs in the world um the level Premier
