Mo's Comedy Club the proprietor yeah that's right somebody's on the time 100 list this is really it it's very nice it's also extremely bizarre to be because I'm not in costume no no not this I mean the time 100 thing this is this is perfect absolutely this is how you get booked at Banana Moors it's very you know it's a it's a special comedy club I'm now spitting and drooling but time 100's most influential people yeah me yeah and um also I think someone like you who when they came into the world I didn't want to know the world without them Phoebe Waller bridge is who wrote your bio for it flea bag um the really one of the the most I think influential uh people in our you know right now happening in the world her heart her mind her voice so I love this pairing boobby how did this come about we have known each other since I was in college and genuinely and we've been like really good friends ever I went to like the first like 13 performances of flea bag she's like an incredible yeah but it's it's crazy to have such a close friend be such a big role model and so like when I was when I was coming to London I would like sleep on her mother's uh like on her mother's couch I love that you guys are friends because that's what you do and that's what your special does it it's it's a shifter it's better than it's not a comedy special it is very definitively a comedy special I feel like I I feel like I absolutely have the stress so comedy it's a comedy special despite the the the nice Accolade and um and yeah I went to this meeting of white nationalists and queens and I sat there for an hour and eventually one of them was like sorry but this guy's a Jew and I'm like yeah I'm a Jew and so like that's what the show is about and you have to watch it to figure out if they kill me in fact we have a clip take a look we were never allowed in our living room never the living room is for guests and tragedies those are the only times and every piece of furniture is covered in plastic in case the real owners of the house show up one day we come downstairs no guests AJ and I look at each other like oh no Bubby died again and we sit down on the couch and my mom just said boys this year we're having Christmas you know a Jewish family celebrating Christmas is not the norm no so my mom had this friend uh named Kate and Kate had a really bad year or she had lost a bunch of her relatives got really sad around the holidays um and for whatever reason my mother said we're having Christmas my father was much more religious than her growing growing up and he was like we're never having Christmas and she's like we're having Christmas and he's like Over My Dead Body will we have Christmas so they compromised and we had Christmas and so and you were really excited about Christmas right I'm thrilled it was amazing cuz we only had Hanukkah Hanukah is not as good so why is it not as good I say that well first of all CU it's also got eight days I mean you get yeah but people and Christians are always very nice they like well you guys get eight days of gifts but they're all terrible gifts or or you get one gift over the court like if you're getting a bicycle you get like a pedal on the first day and the handlebars on the second day and the we on the third okay like I want to know I I am actually looking for a series right now um but but I hear you're binging something I'm binging it's it's embarrassing I just started watching Game of Thrones it's very good I know it's over no spoilers but like I'm watching Game of Thrones although someone told me recently that there was like a coffee cup that they edited out of like someone left a Starbucks cup in Game of Thrones I would so want I would pay so much money to see a spin-off that's like a workplace comedy set in the Game of Thrones Starbucks with like all the characters coming in they're like one latte for Ice King or whatever that by the way you need to write that show a thousand per that's actually really really idea yeah in fact you just let it out if you want me to cut that out so you can go write it and then come back and talk about it I will I think this actually we need to co-create it together by the way done yeah fantastic anything like us three did you learn Pottery yes I've gotten very into Pottery I had a pottery wheel in the Broadway Theater until the UN found out and then they're like uh you absolutely cannot have that here like it's so they're like it's so against the rules we don't even have a rule to say how much it can't be happening like but I had a pottery wheel I went to Japan at the end of last year to like sleep on on like a pottery instructor's like floor and like chop wood and carry water it was supposed to be like a week and a half and after two days I was like get me out of here I love that okay we're going to take a break but when we come back Alex is sharing optimistic thoughts on some unfortunate situations in a game we play called On the Sunny
