we're right here in Vegas for Super Bowl 58 airing this Sunday on CVS and Paramount plus also Nickelodeon if you want to get slimed with me at the desk is my co- Captain Rossy Ross Matthews please and joining us at the desk is lead analyst and Lead reporter Tony Romo and Tracy wolson Tony it's CBS Sports family Extravaganza now Tony before we kick things off will you tell us about this viral moment with Taylor Swift from the AFC Championship will'll roll the clip but boy do I think you've had to probably relive this 58 million times hold on let's check it out we're doing very different things it's a different skill set so what I surmised from that situation was that you had serendipitously accident Mally maybe telepathically called Miss Swift Travis Kel's wife I jokingly did it but not everyone always gets it I actually did it twice because we're on air for three and a half hours 3 hours and 15 minutes and sometimes I got to make you know jokes that I actually entertained and me and Jim and Tracy by ourselves over there so you know I always think it's funny because people go like what do they know what's happening over there she I thought I thought does he know something we don't know I definitely don't believe me but I do know that uh they definitely get talked about more than the football game sometimes ask you a question so you knew you were being a little silly cheek yeah um so it wasn't a mistake it was a purposeful sort of uh ploy to be playful yep that would be accurate okay I want to ask you from personal experience like if you're you married a journalist you have three children you're a family man what's it like when you're with someone and they can really understand where you're coming from like do you think that it's nice to have common bonds where you understand where you're where each other is at in life is that a benefit yeah no I think that it's really unique to have I mean two really different worlds I mean she was really never into football and once you get into it and your husband or boyfriend not her husband boyfriend is is doing that you get like wow this is a huge deal he could get hurt he's like his whole career is Legacy like so much is on the line and then all of a sudden you sit here and go she's the same thing in her world and she's as good as anybody who maybe ever has done it at what she does and it's like wow how unique for two people to come together and have those moments to be like hey this isn't that big a deal we're just fine and they get to just relax and I think take a deep breath with each other and I think it's a great time in their lives right now you know that makes me feel so good to hear because it's like if you can find somebody that knows you sees you understands you can support you it doesn't matter what the circumstances are it's if you can relate and keep each other straight keep each other supported and it just seemed like a really nice side benefit to both of their extraordinary jobs that they could relate to one another totally and especially during crunch time and there's nothing like a Super Bowl for crunch time you know what I mean I think you see that from them right you see that love that support I was jealous of that moment with Tony on the field with her I just wanted to go up I was watching from afar you were watching the I love yous being exchanged between the two of them Andy Reid pointing at her if you were next to Taylor what would you say to her I would probably act thank her and say you know I absolutely love how you come to support and what you've done for young girls around the world right now that are tuning in to watch football and yes they're tuning in to see her but now I've had so many fathers come up to me and say their daughters who are swifties are watching football now alongside them and it's not just when Taylor's on the screen they want to watch it each week and I absolutely love that Taylor makes us feel like because it seems like she can do anything that we can do anything maybe Travis Kelce can do anything and actually people is reporting that Travis may want to lean into acting and hosting once he retires from football the Kansas City chief tight end hosted Saturday Night Live uh and he said he really enjoyed being on camera he says hosting opened a new happiness and career path but it's much further down the road than than right now after all he uh he he's kind of busy this weekend playing the superow but it made me think about you Tony because you went from the field to then a job of course being what a great broadcaster you are I watch you every single Sunday um and do you think that this is a sort of a a change that Travis might be able to do a lane he could go into I think there's no question that he has the ability to do it I think you see his personality I think uh I think he grabs people you know I think once Taylor met him it was going to be hard for her in my opinion to not like this big personality that's confident engaging genuine uh real and so to me he's really likable his gifts are going to show after he's done playing but we're talking about one of the greatest tight ends in the history of the NFL in our world that's a big deal yeah she's huge and everything okay right I feel like he's probably a few years away from doing that much I actually talked to him yesterday about that and asked him about retirement if it was on his mind and he admitted that he definitely thinking about it that doesn't mean it's going to happen after this season what does that mean is that 2 years 5 years what does that span look like that's a good question it's usually not five I don't think it's five I think it's in the near future where his life is all right we'll go to a commercial break and we'll be right back with more from Las [Applause] Vegas w
