exterior Home Solutions two-minute drill Tennessee defeats Chattanooga 69-3 in the season opener and six yards away from the program record for most yards in the game offensively and the offense only played really a half I mean they they really were efficient today yeah they were and the amaz part is that the offense didn't start the second half they pulled everybody at the half which is a bit of a surprise but you know Nico was terrific and listen I the competition and this is not an KN on chatt we've talked about it all summer they can't compete okay they don't have enough bodies they but if you start looking into it the accuracy the timing of Nico I mean it wasn't like guys were wide open and having to wait on the ball or reach back to the ball I mean the two he hit on I guess the second touchdown yeah those were just terrific I mean just just terrific terrific passes just executed really well efficient fast start exactly what you're looking for you got nobody hurt Life's good 22 of 28 314 yards it's a program record for most yards and a half by a quarterback and three touchdowns also with three touchdowns was Dylan Samson who was also equally efficient in running the running the football as he went for a buck 24 yeah I mean the thing that you keep looking at I mean I thought he ran hard he's been waiting and chomping at the bit because they've limited him and and all those things but it's what we we talk about the depth on the defensive line all the time you start looking at this offense DeShaun Bishop can play cam zon's going to be just fine Dylan Samson can play yeah at receiver you keep throwing some bodies you know more bodies and more bodies out there I mean they just have a lot of options that's um something we haven't seen out of Tennessee in a while it's going to make this season really fun if everybody stays healthy jmod McCoy uh I thought looked really really good Ricky Gibson did not go today they're trying to make sure he's healthy as can be for for NC State and uh you know we'll see that that secondary tested much more against Mcall and and concepion and all those players with the wolf back yeah no doubt I mean everybody knows you're can take a step up in in competition and that's what this is about but you wanted to be efficient you wanted to play a lot of players I think Josh Hy's got a great learning or teaching tool to his players they kind of lost their stinger in the second quarter offensively and just kind of were getting to the half that's a great lesson to learn there that Josh hyp will certainly play to his Advantage I thought it was a big game for Jordan Matthews Ju Just to just to settle in you know he made a couple of plays yeah I mean okay he didn't do it against Elite receivers but but he was in position he didn't bust he should come away with this game with some confidence which I think is important I think there's a lot of guys that can factor into into that type of answer about what you learn out of today all we heard all fall Camp was they're going to play a lot of bodies well buddy they rotated them I've never seen them rotate like that in anything in my life credit to Josh Hy and everybody for making sure that you know this wasn't just you know word play this was a you know something they they really were diligent about doing yeah and I mean they did it really on defense they did it on offense but they did it on defense like crazy I mean all three levels of the defense you know you you get T Tander on the field early for Keenan peely you're rotating in the secondary you know frequently at all the positions it's easy it's an easy game to do an in okay you're not going to rotate that much moving forward against you know better competition but boy you got a great sample size to see what your team can do and you're also exposed to everybody out there te got a lot of depth a lot of times you beat me to the punch on stock UPS stock downs and stock stagnant I'm going to go and give you my stock down for middle of the week and it's Jackson Ross one punt 23 yards it was not his best effort he'll improve but hey I'm going to go ahead and take that one right now other stock down matt Ray Matt Ray didn't shoot till the end he missed that Jordan Ross scooping score after he blocked the punt otherwise we'd be showing it to you right here on the exterior Home Solutions
