good uh good team win right there um excited about uh the way that uh football team came out and performed uh defensively just an Elite Performance um from uh really start to finish um played so well against the Run uh tight coverage applied pressure to the quarterback just uh a really good performance um and uh you know proud of what they did offensively um efficient in the Run game um there's some things that we got to clean up as well um wasn't as clean as we're capable of playing and as clean as we're going to need to play as we continue but uh um all in all uh really good performance o line played really hard and uh played well the uh special teams thought we were solid all night um in that uh in that phase of the football game um you know Chase just missed the uh the long one uh but uh or uh Max I'm sorry uh not Chase going back in time there but uh all in all uh really solid performance so open it up first question back right Josh you you ran with a lot of you know 12 person na tonight a lot of two tight end sets uh was that just something you saw with them on scheme was that what was that and then just kind of take you know everybody through um just a defensive performance T not you not allowed a touchdown on defense in two weeks yeah um obviously we gave up one on on the offens side of the ball tonight but uh defensively played really well um you know two weeks not on uh opponent into the end zone just uh starts with uh defending the Run game violent disruptive up front um you know being great in our fits and uh and then applying pressure to the quarterback and being really sound in our coverage uh just I really like uh you know the growth that we've had in the early part of the season I like our Personnel uh there's some things that we can continue to get better at but uh they got great energy camaraderie they care about each other we're able to rotate we got depth um you know we just got to keep growing but uh really love what what coach Banks and our defensive staff and players have done um offensively um for us uh 12 personnel has been something that we've been working on uh for a while uh our roster you know when we got there um for us we had scholarship limitations and uh in particular on the offensive side of the football um you know that's kind of where you you pick your poison and when I say that um you know you're be limited at some position and and uh uh this is the deepest that our our tight end room has been um we've been working on 12 Personnel um you know through the spring and and through training camp and and um so we see it as something that will be a part of uh of what we continue to do second road to our left uh Rob Lewis with volquest.com coach since you've been been here this the identity of this program has been high scor in explosive offense what what was it like tonight to sit there and just what your what your defense just dominate that yeah it's not the only time that they've played like that um but uh again um with the the growth and development of our roster um we're able to play more people that gives you depth that helps um and uh the growth of our players and and who we have within the scheme that that coach Banks and and our defensive staff have uh continued to develop these guys you know they've been playing well you know and uh I love the uh the future of what we have over there BR freedlander Saturday down south let me just say one more thing the standard at Tennessee is to be a lead on defense this is the home of Reggie White Al Wilson Eric Barry you move the ball pretty well in the first half 20 points still pretty good but you you you got more production out of it in the second half was it a matter of adjustments or was it a short field or what was the difference no um kind of stb toe uh early on on one of the drives um and uh didn't take advantage of it had turnover uh on one of the early drives in the in the first half too so there was some self-inflicted wounds and then uh the the holding penalty uh when you're in two-minute Drive um you know just a score of the game and flow of it knowing that we get the ball at beginning of the second half uh wanted to play smart um football right there and and uh and not a advantageous spot so um it's just kind of the way it unfolded top left camera in the back Camille gear WB coach um fan base obviously really pumped up between the big win last week and the big win this week um is this just the tip of the iceberg what this offense and ni can do um as a football team uh I'm proud of what we've done for two weeks um there's a a lot of meat left on the bone for us um defensively really strong performance tonight offensively some really good things there's some things that uh we have to have to be better at and and play cleaner um again there's a lot lot left out for us they're good teams continue to get better throughout the course of the year uh the chemistry camaraderie is uh is important as you continue to go through the season too and and uh you know for us as a football team we got to continue to grow and um you know this the schedule we have in front of us obviously is uh is extremely difficult but um we got to keep uh keep growing from the Associated Press I just wonder can you assess Nico's play what you think yeah I thought all in all played really well um there's two plays he'd like to have back um you know fundamentally just missed the uh the throw over the middle of the football field uh in the first half and uh at the end of the day no matter what's happening around him uh he's got to be right inside of the pocket as he's getting hit on the uh the past concept down there in the red zone so um he will he played within himself he responded extremely well to adversity I think that's one of the things we really haven't seen from him yet um really proud of his demeanor um and being ready to come play and play the next play independently which is what you have to do as a as a quarterback back middle Charli 247 sports coach talk about how big the pick six was in the same qu in terms of a momentum swing momentum swing uh after the pick um you know for for us um I got to remember the exact flow I was it the pick that led to uh to that pick they they kicked a field goal right afterwards yeah um but uh uh it's a one score game right there I think and um you know guy off the edge uh forcing them um you know to find a window and and huge play by Brookie um it was a a part of the straw that broke the back of of them you know what I mean it started creating momentum for us second Josh West rer 247 Sports a couple things do you remember many games you've coached in or played in where the field was kind of tilted the way it was those final three quarters it seemed like the entire thing was played on one half and then also any update on Tyreek West yeah um no update on uh Tyrie I think he'll he'll be okay but uh we'll find out um and then um you know just from fourth down stops to turnovers um the momentum um you know is a a completely different game um you know the last three quarters of the football game second R Adam Sparks new Sentinel uh Josh how do you think team morale has impacted when you're playing so many guys and you're rotating so many guys into the game yeah I think uh the more guys that are are seeing game action uh the investment um is uh continues to to grow and uh they see opportunity and you know I said that to some of the guys that you know didn't make the trip um here too it it changes from week to week you continue to invest you always you always cash in on it at some point in in life and in this game it's not necessarily when you want it but when you're ready if you continue to prepare to be ready for your opportunity when your opportunity comes you're ready to take advantage of it and uh you know a lot of our guys that U you know played tonight have been in those types of scenarios back right Josh when you look at Miles Kitman kind of where he came in at and now where he's at tonight with you know the most catches he had in his career the with a touchdown what's he done that's impressed you all and Coach a yeah um that tight end room it's really cool to see those guys all get along along care about each other um be happy when somebody else has success um and uh miles a huge part of that um got great trust in him that he's going to go execute his his assignment at a really high level uh he's extremely tough mentally and physically demands it uh from the guys around him uh extremely high football IQ uh got a really good feel for uh for the game and and U you know it's a huge part of why the guys love them but that tight end room as a whole um Holden and Ethan just the continued growth from those guys it's a it's a really cool U Vibe inside of that room anyone else last question Ry hton wtk um now got two games in a row with Dylan Samson over 150 allpurpose yards what's a guy like that do for you on the offense great trust in in Dylan he's a great leader for us um but you can put him in any position he's a guy that can have success and that's pass protection it's as a runner uh it's out in space as a receiver uh it's you know getting him you know swing passes whatever it might be he's uh got great great um great skill set okay thank you thanks coach thank
