it's from London here at Essence fest with Corey Cay how you doing I'm doing great you look good I'm I'm like I mean obviously your physique is doing a lot but but tell me about the fit what we saying I'm right now have on some Daniel Patrick I got the red bottoms on the Daniel Patrick socks okay Daniel Patrick uh shorts also the Daniel Patrick cut off t-shirt and a couple jewels and a hat Rolex something simple just a little light little light that's all that's it nothing serious what brings you to Essence fest for the 30th Anniversary uh first of all this is home this is home for me SS Fest I love SS Fest um I'm here doing some posting some pars tonight tomorrow and Sunday okay um but just the you know the Cash Money reunion you know I'm from home I got to see that I need that I need I need that I need that energy I hear you I hear you okay so I'm getting the vibe that you're a music fan obviously I'm from the UK do you know any UK music I don't know any UK music it's all right it's all right what do you think at the UK music scene in general I think it's a dope scene I do hear it and I got some friends over there I think it's a dope scene people need I can see that it's coming over here more too actually it's coming over here to us so we starting to hear more of it in rotation yeah yeah yeah yeah I love that and obviously you're in the Fitness World music must be a part of that right music yeah if I don't have I can't train like solom that stupid excuse my language I hear you I totally get what what genre gets you hyped the most in the gym so if I'm it all depends on what I'm working at if I'm really going through it like some enduring stuff I might listen to like some epic music like a uh uh like Transformers theme song or something like that Superman or something like that I do now now if I'm in the gym lifing hormone feeling I'm going through you know Migos Young Young baby new Don to just came out as dope if I'm doing some sexy stuff working on my ass and stuff like that I'm R&V tank all day that's my brother you know stuff like that I understand the assignment I understand music got to go with the body you know well I love inspiring the next generation of talent what would you say is something that you consider to be success what does success mean to you you know success is what everyone makes of it no matter what it is um success is when you don't have to continue to go back to remember where you were and you can enjoy where you are now and being present you reach the level of success cuz a lot of times a lot of us got to go deep and remember what we were we get stuck right there sometime and question oursel do we do it right success is being in a moment being grateful in the moment being saying you know what this is where I need to be and I'm living it success means happy you're happy in a moment you know you've been successful love that love that and also what advice would you give to someone that you wish you knew before you got in the industry don't rush it don't rush it one day at a time just like I use a fitness that say one rep one day one workout at a time it's the same thing just take it one day at a time but know what you're doing actually don't get out there trying to do everything find what you want to do take that small time and figure out what it is and then hone into it become a master of that then start brother I love that absolutely love that and of course I'm British I want to make sure that everyone knows that I'm here and I want to I want to give you some British lingo I want to ask you actually do you know any any UK slang you know funny cuz one of my one of my clients is John Bo we love John John my boy and he's always talking this every day what have you learn from John first of all John is a real black man people don't really they think he's um kind of white now is a he's a okay I wouldn't have said that but he's from the hood yeah 100% he's from South London like we I get I I get it absolutely absolutely I don't know no slang would he be I don't pay attention to the slang but can you do a BRI Jackson I can't I can't do TR try TR I can't do it on the spot I can't you can't don't don't say I'm Corey and I'm I love London I'm coring I love I'm coring I love London that's all I got I'm I'mma let you off I'm going to let you up next time I'm be ready for you I promise I appreciate you thank you for your time enjoy Essence turn up got to turn up yes let them know where they can find you so you can find me on Instagram Twitter Tik Tok anything that has a platform in Mr Kay and if you can't find that just go Google Cory Cay you'll find Meow thank you
