would K and Trier get a start because obviously the speculation with him this week EDH when his press conference has played it down tripier isn't for sale he wants it to keep him and actually for tripier was actually pretty bright when he came on to be fair I actually thought going forward was better than theal um more on that later but was the big toen point cuz it was more or less when we all expected Emil craft to come in for the suspended Fabian sh which should never ever been a suspension but the surprise one maybe slightly was lyd Kelly starting for for leis Hall I think that was probably a slight surprise I didn't think Lewis Hall deserved to be dropped but uh that was the lineup and obviously we were up against Bournemouth in the last few times I've took the chel dun there we haven't really got off to to a positive G start to a game was do 1-1 a couple Year back we got beat after the Dortmund trip last season when trippier had to go at the fan uh that was just in front of us but I going in the gate and we look we were sh let's just call a spade a spade we were crap we couldn't COPE in particular seia is class they're right wing and he's done with before at Park he's he's just class he hit the ball ear earlier earlier you just couldn't we couldn't CAU with bournemouth's movement and you know I was very critical when they got rid of Gary O'Neal and replac with arola but you know they took them to Mid table last season I think they'll do it again I don't think they've got any worries about going down uh I think they bought well but obviously they have lost to Lan but they bought well in the last two years I meant so I am tired it's like that was 12 I at McDonald's outside of McDonald's in Bladen D this last word before pop in the house and it was it was worrying because you can take it against a happen with 10 men you get away with that because 11 against 11 we weren't that great however against 10 men Newcastle defended brilliantly last week so to come away three points at home against 10 men for over an hour I think that's actually plausible but today wasn't the first half we were just a shambles we didn't even test the goal keeper the nearest we have was like a a cross shot which had it was involving isach but I think we had to improve that there was no we couldn't get any worse to be honest they deserve their their goal for probably overall in play Joel Lon very rare mistake from him it was poor it's not like him very very poor from him however as the as the player develops and when we do analyze the goals in a couple of days time I will be looking at heo live AAL position as well CU he's not fully aware of his Runner but overall it is Joel Linton is the reason why we conceded a goal but as I say bov deserved it but I think the second half as I say it had to be better and I think the substitutions doing them early helped especially the first two and then the other two come not shortly after it galvanized Newcastle brought a a bit a bit of freshness to it even though Anthony Gordon scored with that equalizer I thought he was lackless and puan he just didn't seem fit he didn't seem up for it and that was the same as last week as well I I'm a little bit worried with Gordon at the minute because Harvey bonds was absolutely Sensational by the way Harvey bonds deserve to start next game Anthony Gordon doesn't even though Anthony Gordon has got the goal do you disagree with me on that and ask forest and you might say well it's going to rotate anyway so he'll get a start but if it was a league game bars would go in there for me barondes was the game changer for me that's reason why he's a well it's not the only reason but he's a large reason why we went and got um a pointed here and they also fought willix energy in Midfield I think we've missed him massively at Parts last season when we need that obviously tari is back now the ban is over we'll talk more about that with Forest I I did actually expect more chance for him a chance for him but um we only got a few two or three I thought we get a lot more that'll happen on Wednesday night trust me he just need to tune in the channel on Wednesday night for the for that um and obviously tripier going forward I think he offered more than liament going forward and it was nice to see tripa get more minutes I think he'll start midweek trippa for the rotated side and I think he might start next weekend as well uh potentially um but we'll see we'll see uh because I think there will be some changes but it did but even though it it galvanized us cuz we didn't test the goalkeeper first half n make him P off a couple of worldes three or four good saves but at the other end Bournemouth was still having the chances they had um one that just went wide oh it was a shot from distance another one a skimmer across the floor just went wide they were still looking dangerous even though we were having a good spell of around about 20 minutes we were absolutely fantastic but defensively weren't as much I think the timing of tnar and getting a match fit where he can dictate the play is a massive boost for Newcastle United forget about the transfer Windows we'll talk about that in a minute the return of Tali and what he can bring is a massive boost because I do feel that at times even last season that Midfield was just ripped apart a few times um but obviously the big there's two big controversial for bourma side of the view is the V so initially when when when bourma scored I thought we lost it I did I just accepted that VA yeah we've lost the game Kamal this way but I'm pleased that was H overturned and I have seen it back I think it is Harsh I'm not going to lie I'm quite quite honest with it I think it's harsh but it does hit him there and that's part of your arm and that means the law dictates that if it hits if it hits any part of your arm and goes in whether it's intentional or not it has to be disallowed that is the rules so the correct decision was made I know arola was doing his nut and and obviously assistant got um sent off for uh for it um later on was I can't remember it was for that was it was for the Joel L bit can't remember me because all happened dead quick and it's been a long day but obviously we were trying to go for um the winner ourselves and the other big toen point is the jool lon clothes line WWE style you stop the counter so he takes one for the team it is very high and it is dangerous you have to say that but I think it's more it's it's not violent like we talk about Fab and CH last week I mean that wasn't even Violent J Linton well that was more of a red card than Fabian shares don't get me wrong but it wasn't it was tactical it was cleverness to stop Bournemouth going on the counter Bou felt obviously AG grieved to it but I don't think I would have made any difference to the result anyways if julon was sent off it was right at the end but Newcastle came away with a point the players come over trippa by the way got a great reception from the way from the way fans today that was good to see so we came away for point it's good to see him get a bit bit of that and when I walk to the ground cuz I I was a mad rush to get back to bet train and I didn't I don't like feeling rush I don't like that side I like this is what I like the car um but I understand long distance and I had to gets out of there but I haven't looked at some of the quarts when I did get some signal on the on the train back in walk in the London area um I seen what Eddie how had said just before we talk about that this is what he said about performance today yeah I thought we started the game really well I thought uh first 15 minutes we were the better team um took control of the game I think then we lost that control and it was a bitty end to the first half second half probably with the changes we made the substitutions we made we improved um and yeah we had a number of chances that goalkeeper made a number of good saves I think well I think we were we passing the ball really well early on I think there was a really good energy to the team um but Bournemouth were a difficult team to play against they they break up the game very well they transitioned really well as we said before the game they got Pace in the team and I think it was one or two of those Transitions and sadly we became a bit more stretched than we were um it was end to end I mean it was a really fast-paced game I think both teams gave everything to try and win there was chances for both teams at the end um I think overall we're pleased with the point and pleased with the comeback yeah it was probably a little bit reckless from Joe I think definitely you can see what he was trying to do he's trying to stop the goalkeeper take a quick free kick but he shouldn't go near um the head area so um that's something we talk to him about so that was Eddie how let's just cut straight the chase Eddie how has basically said it's not in his control effectively what he said and you can see the quotes on your screen there what he's basically said is that I don't feel I'm backed that's what it that's what it looks like to me that's what it when I say that I think he hasn't been backed and I've I've I went on the overlap and said that I was classed as being negative on social media by the typical stereotypes I was I wasn't positive and I still feel that way Eddie how has not been backed so far in this transfer window you look at those signings that have come through the door and yes for the people that want to criticize him and say oh well he's got Lloyd Kelly he's got willisa see that again see again at home he's got Lloyd Kelly and will asula really you think they're those two players are going to push it to the next level they've come in as Squad players one's got potential but there's no any other finish article Kelly will be a squad player we had to sign vlatos so we tickle not Forest Back they'll tickle ours so they by Anderson we bought John Rudy in we've got too many goalkeepers Martin Deka had cushion I don't know whe that's a true story not what I have to say what he'll probably head out this week it has not been a good window and I know there's being Chang at the club if Eddie how has a PO spell or gets sacked early in the season it won't all be on Eddie how it'll be down to the board self-destruction as well if they don't get what he wants this week it sounds to me that there's a lawn coming from what he said cuz he mentioned whether it's shortterm or long term that tells me that the club may be looking at alone and the m g one I think they'll go back in for G I think if they up the bid I think they'll get them but it's how much the club want to go but if if if it comes cuz remember the transfer Windows shut a little bit earlier um than normal this this this year if it comes by Friday night we haven't signed anybody I'm not going to lie is I'm going to be pissed off as a fan you're going to be pissed off imagine how Eddie how feels imagine how Eddie how feels that yes you've got tarly back fantastic but what happens if we go out the cup this week we don't sign any players and we get beat off Spurs because all three are a real real possibility it it could happen it could be a horrible week it really really could so I think I think it's a little bit worrying what he said because we've already seen it in the Summer where you said that the boundaries he doesn't know it's a new relationship working with Paul Mitchell and that's like any new boss if you get a new boss you don't know how much you test the boundaries what their boundaries are and work banter and where the guidelines are and professionalism all that kind of bics right um but you've got to go and get any how these players do you know what it is if it comes you know we've done deadline day and what have you and and he's got the two players that he wants fantastic that's good but at this present moment at the end of the weekend SL Monday morning the whole transfer window has been a fast and and I don't like criticizing the club when we're on a high but I have to be realistic and look at it and think it's not good at the minute it is not good yes the club are doing fantastic things with communication they improved massively since the Takeover with stavely and gusi the women's team and they've got a lot of stuff right but since obviously Amanda and madad have gone the pressure is on Paul Mitchell to deliver this week that it's on him and his team go and get any how what he wants because for me it doesn't sound positive when a manager's coming out and saying that and obviously the England job is still there because Lee car's only got an interim level if EDH how isn't backed I don't think Adar would walk but if if Newcastle have a PO spell of adna for five games where Lose or Draw a few and the l l lingering in 13th 14th Place come October or something like November that England job's still there for you know cuz England will come calling whether that's whether I can get him out the contract or not that's a different matter if it's too much for the fa and whatever but it it's it's it's a little bit worrying and it's probably the first time for me and probably for you that it's not a good moment that I feel it's probably how can I word it it's probably the stress and the the the fractures of not signing what he wants is probably taking it toll a little bit because when you see manager little little pocket of third party R I did it all the time remember it doesn't look good it doesn't cuz everything's been posi and this is the first time really that it's been a bit um with transfers since the new owners up and yes were dictated by ffp and PSR bollocks well we all now that didn't we we have to see what happened it's a massive we because as I say it could all go tits up going out the cup no Player sign getting beat off Spurs but then again on the positive side we can go through against nland Forest we could sign a couple players that'll make anyhow happy and we can make get a positive result against Spurs cuz we seem at home and plus tali's back so that could be also put in there as well but look um we have to say I think a point going back to the game overall I think a point a day I think in some spells we're probably a little bit lucky to get away for point but that spell of 25 minutes is promising but we're still a little bit of way off for me yeah I know it's early in the season but Spurs is a test Forest one would probably be two different sides rotating the Spurs one is is the first test this season and four point on the two open games when you look at it and think okay you haven't been great but we've been 10 men for an hour in the first game we've picked up a point away from home we haven't played great football so that's a sign of a good thing as well cuz naturally you would expect where to get better obviously there's play players still to come back in like Callum Wilson uh leis Miley he was on my flight the night by the way was literally sat right next to us well the RO behind us to the right so he was literally on my flight the night um you've obviously got the long um injuries to lels and the whole captaincy de Deb barkle this week as well that wasn't very positive either uh botman so we've got a few that are coming through and Hope come back from injury and hopefully we don't have any more but luckily we only play one game a week this most weeks this season which Pep Guardiola has come out and said interesting that um Newcastle are the ones to watch out for this season U because the way we play but you know even Gordon looked a little bit off it I think he needs either I don't know with Gordon because he hasn't really played for England but he's consistently had a train because the year before if you remember he had the euros and won that with the under 21s you got to play out the tournament straighten at the season with Newcastle fantastic season and then straight in England he didn't play but he's still having a train and he's had he hasn't had much time off so I think he'll he'll come out the side on Wednesday for Harvey bar cuz I think will be some rotated but if this was a league game if if we were playing Spurs midweek I would take Gordon out the fire line um because I don't think it's a bad thing every so often and all sort of motivates players to look you know you're not you're not um drop UND droppable what have you but anyways I hope you've liked that
