UFC Vegas 97: Andre Lima vs. Felipe dos Santos Prediction, Bets & DraftKings

next up at UFC Vegas 97 we have a fight where it should shut some people up cuz all I hear is Angelo doesn't pick underdogs Angelo doesn't like underdogs well I picked an underdog okay and I picked him and then he continue to become a bigger and bigger and larger and bigger dog I am picking Felipe dos Santos in this fight and I'm about to tell you why and I am also very surprised that more and more money just continues to come on Andre Lima to widen this out but we'll start with Felipe do Santos he's eight and one in his career four- one in his last five he's coming off his first win in the UFC he's taking on you do uh you're right there was a dramatic pause and I was like thinking about saying something else and I didn't he's taking on Andre Lima 9 and0 in his career if you need to get a damp cloth or something or kind of cool yourself down doctor talked about uh your uh what's the number say on the thing it's been a very stressful what's the number say on the thing I don't know what you're talking about but the the poor little puppy here had to stay overnight at the stupid animal hospital I had to go to and from Nashville yesterday for work I've got no voice our pets heads are falling off like it's been it's been if I have a little bit too long of a pause breaking down one of the fights let's have some Grace guys can we just show just a slight bit of grace Amazing Grace sweet the Sun and there it is he ran out of the words we got it now I'm found like that right yeah it's right right there he's taking on Andre Lima Andre Lima is undefeated he is coming off his first decision in the US FC listen I get why people like Andre Le he's a good fighter he's got solid technique he uses it well he'll throw in combinations nothing he does is lazy he'll mix up his strikes really really well he is essentially though a pure Striker he's got solid defense meaning he's not looking to take a fight to the ground but he can defend takedowns he's not looking to submit you but he can defend submissions he's a striker who's capable in other aspects he does have two takedowns in the UFC but that's a very misleading statistic because they both happen in in the same fight he's typically looking to keep fight standing he is coming off that close win over Mitch raposo close win over Mitch raposo where he was taken down I think it's a raposo whatever uh that was a terrible decision that was a [ __ ] robbery and a half for lock of the week Mitch reposo I mean I thought Mitch [ __ ] dominated that [ __ ] fight and then we got Felipe dos Santos on the other side typical shootter box fighter you can see it all you need to do is see that haircut and you know exactly how this dude's going to fight he's forward he's a very goodlooking he's got those eyes actually this he looks like the models on the young La website honestly o that wasn't even like a SM PL that was just genu it does it that does those eyes you you know who is one of the models Johnny from uh love Island during Peak covid like Peak lockdown love Island was like just the best show it was on three nights a week it was unbelievable that show was so there was a guy on kill Tony that is uh on two seasons of naked and afraid yeah it's different than love Island that guy's living in the Jungle Love island is just good-look people living together swapping women either way guys stay on task Felipe do Santos is a shooter box fighter and he fights exactly like everybody else in shooter box wild forward pressure very dangerous but also very hitable he's going to come forward he's going to throw everything that he can that does leave him open to be countered but he is capable on the ground he does have some offensive takedowns they're not great he does have cardio issues like everybody else is shoot a box but he's insanely dangerous and insanely tough I just I think Andre Le was a little overrated in that fight that he won against eigor srino because eigor bit him he was losing that fight he was getting pushed around he didn't I was actually at that fight and we said oh my God what happened and then somebody said I think he bit him and we went what and then I yelled get control of the fight Chris dude that was cuz it was dude it was so quiet in there and right when they were like he said that he was going to disqualify him or something or I think he was talking to um like trying to figure out I go get control the fight Chris and they don't give you a hard time for yelling and acting they don't give a [ __ ] dude I paid $3,000 a ticket I'm going to do whatever the [ __ ] I want holy [ __ ] dude last call like we're making a scene the entire time last call she's like it's last call guys our wait [ __ ] brings us literally a tray full of drinks like hopefully this holds you over for the main event it's like holy they don't give a [ __ ] dude oh that's awesome well maybe I should go to UFC 100 uh Vegas 100 you got to [ __ ] figure it out I want to go back I just got to talk to I got kids and [ __ ] I can't just Jet Away literally you can I I went to USC 285 I just showed up Saturday morning and left Sunday morning yeah no that's not how I do it anyway I think uh based on what we've seen Andre Lima doesn't like pressure Igor srino pressured him Andre didn't like it and if shoter box does anything it is pressure forward I think Felipe do Santos is going to move forward he's going to pressure forward and I think he's going to win this fight I'm picking Filipe do Santos I bet on him the instant the odd dropped it was even money I said boom let me throw a half a unit on this because I know it's going to move and the [ __ ] moved in the wrong direction now there's in now it's a no-brainer to me it's a no-brainer plus 155 I think Felipe wins this fight I think he's the better fighter yes he is hitable but all these shoter box guys are really really tough what do you think Jakey boy yeah there's a there's a reason why you know technically I am the most profitable Underdog better in the entire world and if you're just tuning in that's not a madeup stat that somebody has that on video that was sent to me and I don't know why Angel's laughing because he knows it's true as well um I just really am MMA YouTube I'm the most profitable Underdog better and that's because I'm not betting people like e I'm not picking or betting people like ye I'm not picking and betting people like Felipe dos Santos I respect Felipe he is a tough guy he's a shootter box guy as Angel mentioned they are the just going to move forward at all cost right they're going to take a lot of damage on the way in you saw Mitch raposo when he was actually the reason why he wasn't really throwing hands is because Andre Lima knows what he's [ __ ] doing especially in the Striking and in the counter striking he is so precise with those counter strikes and he is a big dude we got to see first if he's even going to [ __ ] make the weight because my lock of the week Mitch reposo took that fight even though Andre Lan missed by what four or five pounds I mean it was a big Miss so we'll see if he if he's even able to make the weight and if he has to cut all that weight how is he going to look so there is a little bit of a question mark But as a fighter skill for skill I just believe that that March forward style not really moving is really going to really going to hurt a guy like Felipe I just think that Felipe is a good fighter but his style matched up against Andre Lima that counter- striking myy Tai stand your ground with those Power Shot shots and those leg kicks I just think that Andre Li is going to be way too much for Felipe Felipe is a young dude I think he's going to figure it out he's a tough guy hopefully he doesn't take too much damage I just think it's a bad match up for him yeah I mean uh everybody hates that pick I I see it in the comments I saw like people hate the flea Bay do I don't know why everybody's in love with Andre LMA he barely beat Mitch Roso barely beat him he [ __ ] smoked him listen that was my [ __ ] lock of the week and he [ __ ] Mitch didn't know what to do in there that was a close fight a short notice fight a short notice fight too it was not a close fight I think Andre Lima's overrated and I guess we will find out together $7,700 in DraftKings fantasy listen I love the S something thousand price point the problem is these shoter box guys are killer be killed there is not an in between where they score 40 points in a decision loss like they get smoked because they're way too
