PAC-12 EXPANDS TO 6 TEAMS | WHO IS NEXT TO JOIN THE PAC-12?

[Music] yo what's going everybody welcome back to episode s far today's video The Pack 12 team of two is now expanded to six the the Pack 12 will never be the same uh now forever and in the future you saw what happened when their conference got dismantled and Big 10 took teams Big 12 took teams the ACC even took teams every single power conference besides the SEC took a team and it was C to see and they only left two teams Oregon State and Washington State but the Pack 12 was dead for a couple of months they're finally Reviving themselves and added Boise State Colorado State Fresno State and San Diego State these teams are very deserving they have a great fan base they're great across all sports San San Diego State went to a final four just a couple years ago Boise State they've made New Year six bowls for years they've always been one of the best G5 teams FR State Colorado State sell out games and have a loyal fan base all four of these teams they all should have been power conf power teams a long time ago uh when you saw teams like Houston and Cincinnati jump up these teams should have joined with them too but I think this is a great start for the Pack 12 adding teams it took us some time to figure out where they wanted to be what their identity wanted to be because they're not one of the power conferences yet uh L in Oregon and USC and Arizon IA and teams like that it it definitely hurt and they needed to find just teams and an Alleyway to go forward and and just go through that tunnel so I think they're in a space where they're not a power conference and they're just probably the best G5 team or G5 conference moving forward especially because it's always the Mountain West or the American so now with the Mountain West losing their best teams probably the Pack 12 of the American now I have three tiers for the Pack 12 expansion I want to get into tier one is C and Stanford I think C and Stanford is the obvious choice the ACC is a dying conference Florida State wants to get out Clemson wants to get out they need to get out while the ship is hot and and before it sinks because if it sinks and C snord are left in there they're going to be lost for a very long time so C staer can get ahead of the curb it's just can they get out right now and you know the the grand of Rights and everything like that the legal terms I'm not sure if they can but this is the most obvious choice they don't have to you know hop on a plane for every single game um and play teams closer to them like they have Fresno State San Diego State those they have four California teams it just makes sense on the next TI I have some American teams and some Mount West teams again for the mount West that have UNLV Air Force Wyoming New Mexico uh just State schools like New Mexico and Wyoming that makes sense they are the team in that state and they've always had you know very great support for their fan base and their n Wyoming with the Josh Allen Days New Mexico was great at basketball everything like that air force that was interesting to see uh just makes sense geographically um and you know they're they're a military school Academy school so and then UNLV they have Las Vegas they play in the Raiders stadium play in the legion Stadium it's surprised that UNLV wasn't the four teams that got chosen uh they you know surprising I'm not sure how many more teams they'll get from the Mountain West cuz Mountain only has eight teams right now and if they were to lose another I think they would be scrambling trying to find some more I think they're scrambling right now for sure but if they were to lose more they would be scrambling even more um but they still have no 2026 to figure this out and then I picked three American teams Memphis was the first one U to Lane and UTSA Memphis they have that FedEx money nil money is rolling through Memphis Tennessee um going straight to that department they're great at basketball great at football they're probably the best G5 school when it comes to football and basketball but it's just they're EAS of the Mississippi is this really realistic for teams to vote them to go travel to Tennessee they got to play back and forth while they can stay in their conference I think that's the most interesting team luck off for a team that's even like around there New Orleans and T Lane T Lane is one of the best G5 schools for football and basketball as well uh they're really good funded they have great fans support they have a huge Market in New Orleans is that a team that will leave the American when they're dominating and just one of the best teams in that program and to join the Pack 12 I don't really think that's realistic and I don't think teams would agree on that and the most interesting one to me is UTSA they're in San Antonio they sell out games they have the Alam Dome I think this is really realistic because it's not that far it's kind of it's it's not in the the triangle if you want to say but it's still not that far and I think it can be really uh really realistic in the Pack 12 when they had all the teams a while ago they tried to add Oklahoma and Texas in like early 2010s so they try to expand to Texas before I think uh tan San Antonio is further west so that makes sense and they can do that and then some other teams I didn't include from the mount West that could make some noise I'm not sure Nevada right there UNLV kind of dead program New Mexico state right there New Mexico deader program Hawaii I think is just too far um and travel and everything like that especially if they add you know Memphis and Lane that would that would suck for Hawaii and them and then s Jose State I think right there with Fresno State and San Diego State makes sense and then in tier three I just kind of did the fun conference the the the chaos scenario as I said North Dakota State South Dakota State Eastern Washington Montana Montana State and Sacramento State you can even throw Weber State in there the best FCS schools in that the Great Plains in the west region I think this would be fun I think this is where the mount West is going to look if they need to expand and get more teams but jumping up from the FCS they're great at football they have huge fan Sports North Dakota State they sell out every single game they're loud as hell it's in tough environments to win this would be really fun if North Dakota State and South Dakota State jumped up and you got to add The Montanas as well I think this would be fun I'm not sure how realistic it is that's all I have today's video
