The Wolf Lodge Inn Burns Down- Let's help!

hey everybody it's Corey thanks for joining me so I bring some tragic news here in the community of cordelane right behind me there that is where the Wolf Lodge Steakhouse used to be it burned down yesterday Labor Day 2024 and what happened was the employees were there in the afternoon the place was closed for Labor Day they were having a Labor Day party and a fire erupted in one of the hood vents in the kitchen and they used every fire extinguisher possible to put it out and could not they called the fire department the fire department responded within 10 minutes and this is kind of a remote location so it takes the fire department to get here about 10 minutes so they got here as quickly as they could and when they got here there are no fire hydrants um they were limited to the water on their trucks and by the time they basically got set up the place was fully engulfed and they went into U fire protection mode for the Wildland interface here bottom line we lost it we lost the restaurant and for me it's personal I live in these Foothills this is my community that restaurant there's a lot of memories that are there family events birthdays anniversaries friends family and so forth we would attend that restaurant at least a half a dozen times a year so it's personal for us and I bring you this video for two reasons number one I want us in general to appreciate those fibers in our lives that make up the tapestry of Our Lives to appreciate those fibers when when we get them I was just at this restaurant Bonnie and I were with friends two weeks ago and had we known that that place would not be there going forward I think we would have appreciated it a little bit more so let's reflect why we have those things like the relationships in our lives the places in our lives that mean so much make sure we appreciate them while we've got them and the second reason I bring this video to you is I want to challenge us going forward personally um and then to those of you that subscribe to this channel there's over 8,000 people that subscribe to this Channel and I know a lot of you have been to that restaurant unfortunately it's gone but fortunately this gives us an opportunity if the Lord sees fit to have this family move forward in resurrecting this restaurant I want those of us that care to rise to the occasion and if there's an opportunity for us to share time talent and treasure let's do it and this channel will keep you posted on opportunities going forward to bless this family we we'll also include that in our newsletters all right you guys that's what makes corane the awesome community that it is is that we rise to each other when there's a need and I just wanted to make this need known to you and going forward let's support this operation um going forward all right that's it for now bye
