and we will head down to Ben Liber with running back Aaron Jones yeah and it's fitting it's just starting to rain right now guys and a bunch of fans are starting to leave the stadium but but look I've got Aaron Jones over here he's had seven years in Green Bay everybody knows how good you are right you become a free agent in March and then the Vikings come calling now the thing is I'm sure you had other suitors too like you know what we have to offer in the Run game like why did you choose Minnesota over anybody else um you know the offenses are very similar coming from Green Bay to this offense uh so I knew that uh I like uh KLC and him as a play caller you know and then uh I feel like you guys have weapons already already established there and I could just come in and uh be added value and I value so well you know I think everybody knows that you're you're a great Runner you're electric when you get the ball in your hands going downhill um you can catch out of the backfield you you applaud yourself and say that you're a three a three down back you're a complete back part of that is being really good in Blitz pickup what goes into being really good at picking up the blitz on third down uh what goes into it is you got number one is the mentality you got to be physical um knowing that they're going to have a running start at you and it's all about protecting your quarterback if you give them that little extra time to get the throw off uh you hold the pocket and he'll the quarterback will make the throw and it's all about protecting him so uh he can he can get the ball off and make a play Down field well you speak about quarterbacks you and Sam darnold New Kids on the Block here how have you guys sort of lean on each other both on and off the field uh you know just coming in uh coming into a new place like you said it's both of our first time here uh just learning the offense together trying to become one uh trying to gain all trying to gain all these guys trust and uh we're we're doing it together so it's great to have somebody right there by your side and then he's a quarterback so he he has a really great inside of the offense and I'm new like I said so uh if I have any questions I'm right there with him I can just uh bounce it off of him and he'll give it right back to me so it's part so going back sort of alluding back to that first question you know we we haven't been great against the run and you come in to this franchise and a lot of us as fans are like oh my gosh he's going to save our rushing attack like a lot of high expectations how do you handle those expectations early early in this training camp uh you know just continue to do the things that I've done and just know it's it's not I'm not it's not just me who's going to do the saving is we got a great group of backs here and uh it's going to be all of us to come in and you know lift up the lift up the Run game and oh have a better year than we did last year in the Run game look everybody's going to know you as Showtime if they don't already because you wear those fancy glasses all the time so I want to get your thoughts on this Showtime what do you think about these I think you got to leave them I think you got to leave them all the rest of the time they look good even in the rain even in the rain it's kind of cloudy though it is it is but that's part of being Showtime you just keep them on so you approve I approve love it all right guys
