The Huddle Ep. 144 he he ladies and gentlemen welcome to another edition of bet us TV's the Huddle man this is going to go down as my favorite episode of all time I think this is the first episode I think where we finally had a divisional matchup between some of your panelists that you tune in with each and every single weekday Monday through Friday at 3 pm EST guys do us a favor smash that like button subscribe to the channel today we are going to be and not only recapping last night's absolute demolition of the Miami Dolphins from the Buffalo Bills side of things oh my God I can't wait to get into that and then also previewing quite a few games coming into the Sunday matchup things are Immaculate Vibes are high at an all-time high on my end and also Richie I could imagine Richie how you doing by the way talk to me I'm doing great man last night was fantastic at Madison Square Garden at the concert um listen man it it was it was a good time last night Dan the concert was great and I was following along the game and I just wanted to get like a really good breakdown from my boy TD on this game because I wasn't able to watch like every single snap so I'm looking forward to this show right here because I really wanted to get my boy Tony Dow's like analysis of this game and I I'll start off like this though you know I told TD before the show like what's up man I can't wait for the show you're getting to business today he's this TD's response I thought you're my friends do I need to remind you what you did to me last year Mr Tony da do I need to remind you what you did to me at MetLife Stadium last year when my quarterback was on the turf laughed at my face you think I forgot W it's going to be a good show hit that like button folks karma is a oh my God and you know what I was streaming earlier this morning and people were like Dan lay off TD in the Dolphins fans bro lay off man show them some mercy they ask for this I felt like looking at each and every single one of them and I felt like saying listen obviously you haven't been following the Rivalry between myself and TD for the past four or five years because I will tell you one thing if the roles were reversed in any capacity whatsoever I would still be hearing it I would be the one on this show looking absolutely disheveled I would be the one on this show getting I mean responses after responses after responses but don't worry TD listen man after today we are going to be friends because at the end of the day the Buffalo Bills haven't proven anything okay we've only beaten absolute bottom feeder teams in the NFL so um I'm not going to celebrate yet basically how that plays out but uh I'm just kidding man I feel bad dude I really dude dude I'm not a mean guy Richie I'm not a mean guy man I see my friend looking down and I'm like damn D you know you have every right to have that sentiment of not feeling bad but me and jets fans don't care at all based off what this guy and the rest of the Dolphins fan base reacted to what we went through last year that's why we have zero sympathy whatsoever let's get into business okay that's what I'm here for I remember we remember TD we remember yeah yeah yeah listen all right listen so like I'm gonna start off with this recap right before TD get I gotta hear from TD though he didn't say a word Dan oh yeah yeah hey TD how you doing today bro how lot of things are hurt right now you know my body even hurts I'm just last night was um we'll break it down thank y'all for tuning in the episode 44 144 I'm all over the place thank y'all for tuning in the Huddle we'll get into it um I I actually have quite a few things that I want to say about it so when it's my turn we all down okay as many of you guys know the Buffalo Bills absolutely handed it to Bills vs Dolphins Recap the Miami Dolphins last night um not really much of a surprise I've been trying to tell everybody on this show and the variety of other shows that all three of us are on together and it's almost like the entire prediction came to fruition all right folks I said that I was salivating over the matchups of the offensive line and the defensive line for the Buffalo Bills and what do you know Von Miller goes out there and that dude re resurrects his career four total pressures sack at the end of the day Ed Oliver in The crucial fourth and third conversion attempt you have Gregory rouso out there that offensive line was an absolute liability for this team now before I dive in a little deeper I want to let everybody know um I do feel for Tua um I feel terrible that we ended up seeing that again that's four concussions in the past two years that is very serious a lot of people are suggesting that he should retire whatever he decides I hope that he makes the best possible decision for his family and his future he's a young man he's 26 years old he has a lot left he has a lot more Life to Live regardless of what he decides I wish nothing but the best all right I'm not Wonder like wish it like I'm not one to wish injuries on anybody and you absolutely hated to see that okay it was nice watching him walk off the field fine not like the last instance it was completely fine with that but now that I got my sympathies out of the way man that bum was a bum last night oh my God it was absolutely incredible the first interception I saw I'm not going to really blame him on that one specifically all right bounced off of the receiver's hand right into Jamarcus ingrams second one if I want to be nice I could say that chosen Robbie Anderson just completely miscommunicated ran the wrong route there's a reason he's been a practice squad journeyman for the past couple of years for a reason but that third one dude oh my God man getting pressure not having the arm strength to actually be something he's touching his helmet he sees something dude dude dude that's so that's a gift now which is even funnier um I mean listen dude like when it came down into the Buffalo Bills man I have seen so many narratives die in fact I ended up tweeting something out last night when I was obviously on my high horse I called Richie this morning and I said I've had a smile on my face ever since like 900m last night um dude shout out to the Buffalo Bills defense we lost trell Bernard last night within first three plays of the game our middle linebacker and we did not miss a damn beat we held Tyreek Hill to three receptions in 27 yards Jaylen wad to about four receptions for like 4250 yards out of itself absolute clamped up and all offseason I've been hearing it from TD over and over and over again oh man like y'all lost so many key pieces on defense and I said bro it doesn't matter we have Shawn mcder whoever the hell he plugs in plays into this defense he has to his number he's going to absolutely take away his first read it was suggested on all of those you know fourth and failed conversions at the end of the day this defense absolutely clamped up and I love I love what McDermot does with these guys rosul Douglas and Christian Benford are absolute dogs when it comes into it and fun fact as well everybody that loves us about dear Hamlin my friend compare the stats dear Hamlin last night to Jordan puyer all right dear Hamlin was the leading tackler for us last night well we saw Jordan Boyer our boy get burned by damn James Cook we also you tell me dear Hamlin's a better football player than Jordan puyer is that yeah right now just want make sure just want to make sure I heard that right so we're saying that Tomar Hamlin is a better football player than Jordan puyer and people were s like oh my God we couldn't do that listen I love Jordan puyer he's probably gonna have his number retired in Buffalo I love him nothing nothing but respect for the guy but right now this front office knew exactly what they were doing walking away Jaylen Ramsey I have no idea what the hell his problem is he got cooked by a rb3 Ty Johnson all right on a damn seam when Josh Allen was running off to the side all I saw was narratives after narratives after narratives die week one and week two the first narrative was Josh Allen was overrated guess what first week goes out there throws four touchdowns superhero ball next week the narrative was just like oh man Josh Allen can't do that it's not sustainable he has no weapons at the end of the day what is he going to do Josh Allen only passed the ball 19 times only threw for 140 yards and it was a James Cook game bro three touchdowns two in the air one on the ground absolute dog we have khil Shakir out of the slot my friend that is the next am mon Ros Brown he's the next am mon Ross brown baby he's been going out there he's been crazy so I love it and I'll end it with this um not bad for a team with no weapons and an overrated quarterback I will tell you that not not bad not bad baby all right TD you have a lot to say I'm gonna give you the floor go ahead I'mma get right into the meat and potatoes okay yeah ladies and gentlemen um what you witnessed last night was so unfortunate because the play in which Tu taloa got concussed he had picked up the first down and what a lot of people don't realize is that the Miami Dolphins were about literally were about to have the biggest comeback of all time the only reason we lost was because Tua got hurt so all of this excitement and stuff all of this y'all sitting here gloating today you won because our quarterback got hurt okay the Dolphins were about to stop it get real with me for a second I'm not letting the Li with you bro I'm not about say we're out here with Tyler bass purposely shanking field goals all right all right all right I'm think I'm not going to lie man okay okay okay I think want say one thing real quick I don't want to hear oh no the dolphin season's over cuz the two his injury your season was over in the third quarter got hurt I was trying to figure out all night how I can make an excuse all right so but I tried it didn't work all right let's get down to the truth okay the Buffalo Bills own the Miami Dolphins yes my God man why dude dude why does Josh Allan Josh Allen is an elite quarterback thank you thank you Josh Allen Josh Allen is one of the greats in the NFL okay thank you um the reality is uh for those who watch me on my personal Channel y'all know how I feel about about all of this in the details I try to ride for my team I try to have all the love I can for my team when we out in public you know I try to be positive I try to do all that but I also break things down honestly and fairly a lot of times especially on my channel and um I try to do that here on the Huddle too until it's game time I'm arrive for my team but here's the reality this all goes back to um five years ago Man four four plus years ago when we drafted to ataga Valor I always told people time would tell but this is exactly why I was I wouldn't have drafted him it is so unfortunate what we witnessed last night and it was the second time we saw it as a football fan I do not want to see a player and and I'm going to use a specific word because now I'm starting to feel like it that's being tortured on the field what he's putting himself at risk of is like torture to me and every time I see him get stiff and and you know um uh there's medical term fencing and all of that it's it's it's terrible man and at the end of the day that had nothing to do with the Buffalo Bills winning last night Tua injury had zero to do with the Buffalo Bills winning last night but there's two stories to be talked about here today that's Tu tagao and his health and then the Miami Dolphins as a football team so right now based off of the recap we're going to talk about Miami Dolphins as a football team we need a true real franchise quarterback at the end of the day I'm not going to sugarcoat anything to attaka aloa came back and put the team in a hole everybody wants to talk about the offensive line and the wide receivers first interception I get it you don't want to blame the quarterback but it was terrible ball placement for it to even be on the court on the receiver's back shoulder you really just hope that the receiver can build his quarterback out and make that play So that's dual responsibility the second one where he just literally threw the ball to the safety that's inexcusable it doesn't matter this quote unquote miscommunication Roby Anderson slipped it doesn't matter you were throwing in an area where a Defender was like and and and by the way that's an excuse Roby chosen had to stop on a dime and turn around he wasn't supposed to go out or up or anything like that that was the route he just slipped on the break of it and that had the slip had nothing to do with the interception the ball was literally five feet in the air higher than Roby chosen anyway and it was intercepted just terrible play and then you get under pressure on a critical um third or fourth down and you're trying to throw the ball away and you just float it up and it gets intercepted for a pick six and a plethora of other throws that were just terrible throws let's just call it what it is this is who Tu takala is and who he has been in his entire career he has been a wide receiver Merchant against Bad teams and well you know it is what it is you you hope that the narrative is wrong and you ride and have optimism like that's not the case but last night was a clear indication that that's the case you've been a wide receiver merching for this amount of years because you've had Tyreek and Wadd and then every time you play a great team they destroy us why not because they're technically stopping Tua but they're they're shutting Tyreek and W in company down and our quarterback doesn't know how to process and make big plays when he doesn't have Tyreek and Wadd and then I go on the other side of the field and I look at Josh Allen who does he have who does he have and people always say well every quarterback needs weapons who does Josh Allen have and I'm not being and I'm not being disrespectful to the Bills receivers here but when we compare Tyreek and Wadd who do the bills have so when Josh Allen can go out there and make things happen spread the ball around extend plays that is an indication that we don't have what they have and that's why they own us that's the only reason they own us it's the quarterback position it's the quarterback position game to your senses no I mean I've been in my senses I just always had hope that I'm I was wrong because you gotta have faith in a guy that you done lock down you gotta try to Faith in it but TI I got to remind you man I'm not letting you off the hook you're my brother but bro you you gave us a 17 like minute research paper essay of why two is better than Josh Allen over the summer let's not forget that you went through every analytic you're trying to convince all of us that you was better than Josh Allen I'm sitting there like bro like you're not convincing us that rich here's here's the reality you are correct and you're in your right to call me out on that and you want to know why I stuck my chest out there on that because I truly didn't believe with Josh Allen having no weapons around him that he would rise to the occasion I truly did not believe that and I felt like we were able going to be able to prove it this year and Tua got Tyreek and Wadd and we'll be able to prove that he's more effective but boy was I wrong and it's sad that I was wrong because gosh you got everything to your disposal and you can't do nothing and this man over here ain't got nothing and doing everything it sucks it's always been the quarterback position and then and don't get me started on the rest of the team our o line teron Armstead we we invest in a tackle who's great but can't stay healthy for more than 10 games a season I mean just up and down the roster everybody banged up the only player that gets a gold bar a gold pin yesterday was Devon aan who absolutely balled out in the midst of a storm who absolutely shredded the Buffalo Bills in the midst of a storm but he was one player that came showed up and showed out and it's a shame man at the end of the day Miami Dolphins got some real decisions to make and if I were them I would blow it all up and get all the draft Capital you can right now that's just a reality and and I don't know if we're going to get on the TS um situation in particular are we or should I say what I need to say now uh we're going to transition because I actually like have a strategy for you guys of how I Salvage season and it's genuine so it's a genuine strategy that I think could actually Salvage your season but Richie talk man go ahead listen man first and foremost any buddy that's getting pressed Dolphins fans and your reaction to what I'm saying is bringing up the New York jets that just tells me even more that you know everything I'm saying and everything everyone's saying is true oh y'all going to lose this week yeah bring up the Jets in your arguments this has nothing to do with the Jets absolutely nothing to do with it we are talking about the Dolphins right now and the Buffalo Bills game last night the fact that you're bringing up the Jets just shows me that you know everything that we're talking about is true and that's your dis oh but you but the Jets suck they they have an overrated defense yeah keep talking okay we'll get to Jets eventually all right the reality is this I stood on my T toes all offseason and said nobody is afraid of Tua nobody yeah but Tua is 5 and0 against the Jets still there's not a Jets fan in the world that is afraid of Tua taoa there is no fan base in the world that spark that Tua Sparks fear in and everyone's like no what do you mean bro he led the league in this he led the league in that like blah blah blah like bro I told you guys that Tua is a merchant of the Yards after to the catch of Tyreek Hill they have a phenomenal system and all that and by the way where was that let's not forget what happened week one against the Jaguars CL down that offense stunk in week one you're lucky you won that game you should be 0 and2 okay a win is a win that could save your season potentially but we shall see and the reality is this okay I know that everybody's going to start piling on and and be like oh why is Richie holding down because I remember what each and every single one of you Miami Dolphins fans including TD fin did to us Jets fans last year you laughed in our face and guess what you didn't stop laughing all offseason oh rogers's got to stay healthy he's got to survive four games he's got to survive four snaps I had TD laugh in my face last year when my quarterback ruptured in Achilles in his first four snaps okay that doesn't compare and I told Dolphins fans I told TD stop joking about this because you're you're living off this like happiness that two has survived last season there's no guarantee he gets that healthy this year you keep wishing about quarterback stay healthy you should hope your quarterback stays healthy and by the way I wish nothing but the best and send healing energy to Tua I Absolut hate that he got injured I wish he was still healthy because I hate that that's even a talking point right now the talking point should be Tu was on the football field and stunk and is trash through three interceptions one of them being a pick six like if Tua ended this game healthy the talking point was still be the Miami Dolphins got obliterated by the Buffalo Bills and Tua is trash against the good teams and I said yesterday I had an open mind I'm like you know what Tu I want to see who you are I want this to be my opportunity to go into an open mind with the Miami Dolphins and I want Tu to prove me that he can step up at the big moments he can go up against a team that has absolutely you know dominated them in the last few years a team that they're trying to Dethrone in the Buffalo Bills and he fumbled I also want to take this opportunity to not just you know talk bad about the Dolphins but to give some respect and some love to the Buffalo Bills because I think they deserve it thank you Josh Allen went out there there and did ex everything he needed to do shout out to the former jet Tai Johnson I think he's a perfect number two behind the elite running back of James Cook okay the fact that you have James Cook leveling up his game to get three touchdowns in the first half the fact that your defense at Oliver is a dog we're seeing a new rejuvenated Von Miller off the edge okay I mean Demar Hamlin used to be a laughing stock but now he's out there leading the team in tackles the Buffalo Bills have not gone anywhere and I think the Buffalo Bills just reminded everybody that they're still a team to beat okay they still the favorites to win this division they's still a team that even like every team in the AFC is worried about the Buffalo Bills after last night so I want to give the bills respect because I don't want this just to be piling on the Dolphins about how bad they looked and I want to give the bills their respect that they look really they look like a sound football team a well coached team Josh Allen has no interceptions to this point he doesn't have weapons around him but good quarterbacks Elevate and I think this was the season where I looked at Josh Allen I even said it on record this is gonna this season's going to tell me who the Buffalo I mean who Allen is because he doesn't have Stefon digs he doesn't have Gabe Davis is he able to elevate guys like Shakir is he able to elevate the rookie Keon Coleman the answer is yes and yes so we shall see um so tip your cap to the bills they're the four-time division champs for a reason and the Miami Dolphins had a chance and bro like and like I I wish nothing but the best for two's Health but I like that injury is kind of turning this into like everyone feels sorry for the Dolphins which they should because I I do do not want to Injured I wish he was healthy I wish he was starting next week I wish he could play all 17 games just to prove to you guys the quarterback that you got it would be the same thing now listen the only reason why and I want to just finish it off with this I just remember Jets fans remember what these Dolphins fans did to our fan base last year in all offseason long laughing in our face sorry if it hurts your way okay and don't be hypocritical realize and take it on the chin like we had do last year and all offseason long Dolphins fans I'll leave it off with that good luck with Skyler Thompson the next Tom Rady So speaking of that this is what I Should Tua retire? think that the Miami Dolphins should do all right say for example that they want to be able to salvage the season and some people might laugh me about this but I'm not looking necessarily at the player of old but I'm looking at the skill set that he could potentially bring I think and this is all of course considering that Tua decides to make the correct decision which is in my opinion is to retire um but even if he's out for the rest of the season on ir and he decides to come back I think Ryan tanah Hill is the number one move that you guys need to make when you have an offensive line and you have a GM that ignores The Importance of Being able to protect a quarterback that isn't a quarterback that is able to um like be mobile like literally man we saw it right in front of our faces last night watching the Buffalo Bills take away to his first read and the second that it was gone most quarterbacks you would think would be able to move out of the pocket extend it blah blah blah what Ryan tanah Hill would bring to this offense I think that you end up bringing him the best wide receiver Court he has ever had you have a upand cominging running back uh when it comes into Anan when it comes into Moser coming back a lot of speed and when we played Ryan tanah Hill as a Buffalo Bills fan from Tennessee he was the most annoying QB on the face of the planet uh because he could also make plays with his legs he can go ahead could scramble out he can stretch it by itself I think that he just makes sense and I think that I'll be honest with you this sounds ballsy but I'm more scared of the Miami Dolphins with the Ryan tanhill even if he hasn't been on a squad even if he did quote unquote get bench for will Levis last year a lot of context matters there that was the season after they traded AJ Brown away and Derrick Henry took a step back I think that he would automatically make you guys back into playoff contention automatically next off season I think you fire Greer immediately this guy has mismanaged this roster to a point where it's absolutely disgusting um he's locking down a lot of Aging players in these year-long contracts um and I just don't really see what he has been doing in benefit and to be completely honest with you don't go for shador here don't go for Carson Beck if if y'all were smart what you're gonna cam no what you're gonna do is that you were going to be competitive this season you are going to fire Greer this off season the very first pick that you have in the first round next year and the second round next year needs for the love of God needs to be in the trenches in the offensive line and then that year you tank and you go for Arch Manning Arch Manning in two years should be who you are looking at fire up those mock drafts TD fire up those mock draft I think you should be going for Arch Manning and tanah Hill this year I think you could potentially still make the playoffs with him potentially next year in the draft drafts as many offensive lineman as you can I mean just throw darts at the damn board first second third round do what you got to do next year tank bro throw Skyler out there do what you got to do and then get Arch Manning on that damn team in two years I think I think that's what you got to do baby all right here's what y'all don't realize man see all of these suggestions and stuff but why are we ruling out the fact that Skyler Thompson can still take us to the Super Bowl I mean he didn't look too good last night I like from you Bab they took his weapons off the field they took his weapons off the field listen listen I like I need I need Hope from you TD this is another thing I really hope you're not deated I need to he some hope yeah we're in a bad situation right now I think here's the important thing before we start talking about Tanana Hill start talking about you know Archie Manning shadur Skyler and all that Arch Manny right before we even get into all of that we're in a state right now where we got to take things one day at a time let's find out what doctors have to say about Tua let's see what the NFL does if they step in or not and then if T is going to make the decision or the NFL is going to make the decision me personally I already know and I could be wrong but this is what I believe Tua is not going to retire he just got the bag but when you walk away you don't get the money okay you don't get paid if you walk away now what they need to do that would be best for him I don't care if his career is his decision now it ain't about him his career is his decision but we got to start talking about the Miami Dolphins they need they need to cut Tua pay him his money so he can get paid because if we cut him he gets to get his money cut Tu give him his money wish him the best if he still wants to play he could pursue that on another team and see who takes that chance and then we need to go from there because at the end of the day I think the NFL is going to have an opinion they don't have a say but they will have an opinion on this matter the NFL does not want to continue to see him fencing on their field it's not good for the product of the league there has been nine occurrences of fencing in the NFL in its history that they can remember and two has been two of them we cannot have situations where this guy's arm goes steti and his fingers start moving in the way that they do that is scary especially since neurologists have already said that is a direct result of an impact to the brain so at the end of the day we can say it's not our decision to make but let me tell people something out there that does not mean we can't have an opinion about it all these people hey we shouldn't be trying to say what a God should do or not oh we're the viewers we're the ones that have to see what happens on the field and the truth be told I do not want to see tuag ofala on a football field again out of the risk of seeing that I don't want to see that mess again and so at the end of the day that's how I feel about it and as a fan who consumes the product and pays for it so I have a right to say what I want to see in a product and what I don't want to see in a product now ultimately it's GNA be his decision and what he wants to do so um yeah I just think think that oh I man when I watched the replay it was it's I just I don't like it and I'm I'm like come on man he he needs to take care of himself but that's on him and his family I feel for your TD it honestly it honestly sads me I'm not going to lie man um as you guys know I was at a concert last night so I wasn't able to watch the game normally and when I got that update that two was out of the concussion I got really upset and I'm genuinely serious like that was not a good notification for me to see as a Jets fan because I know how much to a means to like that fan base I know he was struggling in that game up to that point and to see that he's ruled out with the concussion even before seeing the play I just had this overwhelming feeling of just like like ick like I felt I I felt sympathy for you guys because I know what it's like for a quarterback to go down and that's the worst injury the Tua could ever have at this point in his career like if it was an rolled ankle if it was like something else that had nothing to do with the head injury it' just be like oh man that's unfortunate to would got hurt but the fact that it's his head again that's the that's a sticky situation I also think this is a big test for Mike McDaniel and everything and like who is he as a head coach I think that his press conference today of like everyone's bringing up the word to a retirement and he's like begging people to stop doing that because that's the last thing two wants to hear so I just think it's really interesting and like the fact that you guys has extended him before the season it's uh it's a very very interesting situation that the Miami Dolphins are in and um tough situation it's tough it really is like I don't know like if Tua gets like do you guys remember when Tua went back on the field two years ago for the first time after that injury and everyone was like why is he on the field you know like and then he got back on the field he was fine got cussed again went back on the field right and then they said it was malpractice because why did you put him back out there the next week yeah and then last year no issues what did he what did he do Jiu-Jitsu what did he practice that kind of help him out well well he was the least hit quarterback in the entire NFL he was the least hit quarterback last year in the NFL getting rid of the ball quick but so this is just the last thing I wanted to happen to Tua like this is the last thing I wanted to see for you guys like you know like as a Jets fan who obviously does not like the Dolphins does not like the bills I prefer tu's health all season long and you still suck I him get hurt so to I'm thinking about Tua I I'm upset that he got hurt the way that he did and I'm genuine when I said that when I went live this morning talk about the game that's the first thing I talked about I don't want anybody to twist my energy into I'm laughing at the injury of Tua because that's absolutely not what I'm doing that is not what I'm doing at all list listen Richie nobody's laughing at this situation I haven't seen anybody picking on the situation but here's the tough thing that people like us that do what we do on a panel talking to hundreds of people every every day um and thousands of people watching every day right here's the tough part we have to recognize what he went through but also evaluate what we saw last night from a playing standpoint absolutely what he and what he went through made it makes it kind of like feel weird to talk about the play because it wasn't good at all right so everyone knows nobody's laughing or getting on him and with the concussion piece but here's a frustrating thing for someone like me who covers the Miami Dolphins I want the best for my team I am a team person not a player person and what happened to him was a travesty and it hurts me but at the same token I also have to talk to those viewing about the future of the organization and what's best so let's live in a world where what happened last night from an injury standpoint never happened we will be on this show today talking about how bad he was and how it is proof that he will never rise to the occasion in the big moment and the reality is we don't have our franchise quarterback and we are somewhat stuck once you get into being one in 11 against teams that are good at what point do we realize he is a problem when it comes to the player but the unfortunate situation keeps us from kind of like really diving into that coners ation and it's so frustrating because we got to discuss it you know we got to discuss the reality of what we're seeing for the Dolphins future so a lot of people they're talking about well we need someone to be able to take over for two or three weeks while two is out I that blows my mind it just blows my mind that people are just looking at it like a time frame it's almost like oh he got a bad ankle he'll be three weeks oh his shoulder he'll be six weeks man these are concussions man these are concussions that we have more data and research on CTE and things of that nature I it baffles me honestly yeah it's uh it's certainly sad it's certainly sad um certainly wishing him nothing but the best because the narrative has yet to be proven because I Justin Jefferson obviously contributing Jordan Addison the Run game at the end of the day talk to me about the San Francisco 49ers Minnesota Vikings story lines out of this game that you're going to be interested in watching and who do you think comes out on top chat please let us know where do you think this game is going Richie talk to me Niners Vikings what's you get yeah man listen um the NFL's weird right 49ers have to go on the road in this game the Vikings looked phenomenal but it was again against a bad team the Giants I mean upsets happen I'm not going to sit here and say that darnold is gonna light up that defense uh but I think it's a very interesting game because the Vikings are living on this High Sam darnold had one of the best games of his entire career against a bad team and boy oh boy if Sam goes out there and plays a good brand of football and even like what if Sam goes out there and plays well and they lose like even in a tight game like people are going to think about that um and the Jets got to play the Vikings by the way in London in week five so I'll be looking at this game closely to see how they match up against San Francisco I mean the 49ers I think are going to win the game I'm not going to be that delusional about who Sam Donald is uh but I think this is a really good opportunity for him the Vikings are at home so I think that's in their favor I like the the Vikings to Maybe cover I mean what's the spread of this it's probably a ridiculous spread no um I I really think Sam darn do you think I think it's like seven yeah I mean I think the Vikings can maybe cover that I think Sam man I've been telling you guys all offseason about Sam and everyone's been laughing at me because I have a soft spot with him like I actually believe like it's not just Sam darn of who he is but it's also who Kevin oconnell is as a head coach like I think that he is the perfect guy to rejuvenate Sam's career and gain confidence he has the best receiver in football at his disposal he's got an elite running back and Aaron Jones who's extremely underrated like the system is just a well oiled machine and that coach man I watched Kevin OK connell's uh postgame speech after week one and that like red me up bro I'm like bro I'm picking the Vikings win it all obviously joking but I I love Kevin oconnell as a head coach and I'm really intrigued to see how the Vikings match up this year man uh this game against the 49ers I'll take the Vikings to cover the spread but I'm gonna take the Niners to win outright that's what you got on this STD talk to me they ain't covering no spread they coming right back down to earth what's going what happen to what happened to us last night about to happen to the Minnesota Vikings and it ain't Sam darnold gon look that's assuming the Jets are still a good team okay now if the 49ers struggle that might be more of an indication of you know how bad the Jets really are but I think the Jets are still a good team so that's where that's why I believe what I believe so at the end of the day this game won't even be closed Sam um that defense is gonna give him fits but I will say this though you come out there and Colts and the Green Bay Packers and I'll Colts vs Packers Preview tell you what folks this game I really don't anticipate it to be very exciting everyone was hyping up everyone was hyping up Anthony Richardson's pass but everyone neglects to acknowledge that he threw for less than 50% of his passes last week if it wasn't for that pass it would have been a historical terrible week one performance but now you have Malik Willis who is going to be attempting to lead the Green Bay Packers and listen I think largely when it comes into it this Green Bay Packers um room of weapons is very similar to the Buffalo Bills they are not good by themselves they are good based off of the quarterback that is thrown them the football quarterbacks Elevate Malik Willis is not elevating anybody there's no Raw Talent over on Green Bay by himself that they can really be game Breakers I have the Indianapolis Colts winning this game um I think Anthony Richardson is going to absolutely go off with his legs I think Jonathan Taylor is going to have a hell of a game and then I also think that the Colts defense is going to completely clamp up Malik Willis showing that he shouldn't be out there I'm afraid for Green Bay that they're not going to win a single game until Jordan love ends up getting back I have the indan Apolis Colts on this one TD talk to me once again another route Malik Willis is bad he is bad Le Willis is just a bad quarterback and I can't even believe they're willing to March him out there and Lead these troops they should have brought in a competent quarterback in which they had an opportunity to but they want to be stubborn and say we're gonna roll with Malle you know the sad part about it is a lot of these teams have their backup quarterback for the season expecting them to never play which I understand but the same token you're not really investing in a good backup just in case you are in this position because in what world did you say let me go get Mal and look at him in training camp and say yeah we got a good backup let's call it Spade of spade okay they wanted to save money and didn't want to invest in an actual good backup because they were hoping they would never need to use them so this is like M practice for Green Bay for me the coach are GNA win Anthony Richardson's going to get some motivation and confidence in this game why because he's not going up against anything but the def def he doesn't have to contend and keep up with points because Malik Willis is bad Green bay loses this game now if Green Bay finds a way to win that's all on the coaching I mean they play great defense and the defense was scoring the football on Anthony Richardson but and right now they name they listed Jordan love officially as questionable they playing around with people the man ain't playing okay now if he does something wrong you know the NFL need to investigate what's going on out here with these injury reports because these teams aren't disclosing and things accurately potentially so everybody asked last week why I'm the big debacle with the San Francisco 49ers because the running back disclosed he would be starting on Friday because they didn't disclose it as such they made it seem like um mcaffrey could play all the way up until game time they knew he wasn't gonna play they knew he wasn't gonna play and so you're disclosing the information wrong on the um injury report potentially so yeah that's what I got on this one what you got Richie yeah listen man um Malik Willis does not have a passing touchdown in his career yet I mean let's be honest with ourselves here and he also became a packer 23 days ago like it wasn't even with this team all offseason not no training camp with them the one thing I will say is I do believe in laflor as a coach to kind of like pull off this weird win somehow I'm still picking the Colts by the way but it's in Lambo and I can feel like if they can just run that football with Josh Jacobs and Malik Willis can just not turn the ball over and their defense could be a big reason why um they play good football there's a path for them to upset I mean all Malik Willis has to do is play Within the structure of the system find his Playmakers and play good defense and ground and pound and also Malik Willis the only thing that I can say that is a positive of mik Willis game is he is able to run that ball so I mean this is Anthony Richardson's chance I mean he had you know one highlight level play but he kind of stunk outside of that so this is his opportunity go to Lambo and kind of remind everybody or not remind but tell everybody who he is but let's be honest if you're an NFL fan and predict Malik Willis to get this W I mean I don't know I'm not GNA go that crazy yet I Gotta See Malik Willis play before I'm gonna do that so I got the Colts you got the Colts to come on out it is a panel sweep right then and there all right listen we have I think that we could probably get to one more game and Jets vs Titans Preview I'll tell you what we got to talk about them Jets we got to talk about them Titans baby Richie talk to me baby what is your prediction for the New York Jets in the Tennessee Titans talk to me man this is going to be uh interesting bro this is going to be interesting like you talk about you know the expectation from this game it's just completely different than last week the Jets were the underdog against the 49ers you know no one really picked the Jets to win besides you know Jets fans being hopeful we can pull off the upset this is different we expect this team to win everybody's expecting the Jets to win this football game um it we're in Tennessee the thing about this is like it's not going to be easy like yeah the Jets should win this game but it's not going to be an easy game to win because I think the Titans do everything what what the Titans are good at is goes right into the Jets weaknesses like Tony Pard and Spears are two pretty good running backs they have a good run game the Jets cannot stop the run against the 49ers so that's my fear of this game is stopping the run because if we can't stop the run against the Titans it's going to be a long day for the Jets defensively we have to be able to wake up and I'm really hopeful that this defense can just like that game on Monday night is a wakeup call uh because again I said it all week long bad defense uh good defenses have bad games great quarterbacks have bad games it happens the Jets got killed last year on the road against Dallas in week two and everybody was calling that defense overrated and they still finish in the top three for the season so I'm hopeful that we can really just you know tone in defensively that's I'm I'm looking at this game from the je defensive perspective because if we if we allow will Levis to have a good game we're screwed I mean let's be honest to the themselves we have to be able to go in there and neutralize that offense we have to force will l to play quarterback that's how I look at it we have to be the team defensively like we are Elite against the pass and I still believe in that run game has always been you know not our best the last few years as good as our defense has been the last two seasons the defense has never been Elite against the run but we're just so good against the pass where that's what makes this team so good and when it comes to the Jets offense I think this is a good opportunity for us to go up against another tough defense a defense that has not given up an offensive touchdown this season in week number one and I'm expecting the New York Jets to really open up the game from a pass uh passing perspective I want Aaron Rogers to throw that football on first down more often than not stop running the ball on first and second down and setting up third and long please Rogers got to get rid of that ball fast early and often and efficiently and I just want to come away from this game of we won and we look like the better football team I want to win convincingly okay not by 30 points but like can I get a touchdown win can we win by seven or more points now if we win off a game-winning field goal or we win off an Aaron Rogers comeback win I'm not going to complain at all I don't care how we win honestly just win that football game because if the Jets go in an 0 and2 hole and we lost to the ners and then we lost to the Titans you know I'm not going to say the season is over but it's going to make the season a lot more difficult to overcome that's how I look at it so you know big game for the Jets the expectation is for the Jets to win and if we are a good football team actually and have these playoff aspirations these are the games you must win you must win so I'm predicting the New York Jets and Aaron Rogers to be a better football team I think Rogers is gonna have a better game than he did in week one I think Garrett Wilson is going to get over 100 yards this this game and I think the defense at least sacks will L us a few times and force a few turnovers the Jets win 2417 damn what you got on this TD Titans about to Route the Jets misery enjoy company all right um no I'm just kidding the Jets um they'll have a bounce back game they'll get it together the Titans will Levis if he steps up this should be an interesting game because they have a good team in my opinion okay they have a good team but we shall see I think that the um Rogers has one of those three to four touchdown games Jets fans get all excited they're back they show their full potential the defense eats they have a great game I think that that's what we're gonna see and I think the Titans will just be outmatched folks better be right sorry folks I'll tell you what it's going to be lowc scoring I do like the Titans defense but but I like the Jets defense better especially against will Lis I have a feeling that they're going to give him fits bad offensive line over in Tennessee I see him being on his ARS for the vast majority of the game on Sunday looking forward to unpacking it now folks we had a lot of other previews to go through however obviously we certainly expected that the bills recap was going to probably dominate the vast majority of the show which it did however do us a favor because we are going to be unpacking and recapping each and every single game that occurs
