Trent I'm update on Sam Walker I guess uh I've got the three guys that are going for scans now so um doesn't look good for Sammy um yeah so that's uh it's really disappointing but uh they're all down getting scans at the moment how tough was that just to watch your team go down like that and it just felt like it was one after the other yeah it was um yeah it was tough when you know untouched when Samy went down and obviously uh then Brandon and then um then RADS you know with the shoulder sort of late there and then and then and then Butch um but it was one of those games you know it was it was yeah it's tough when you finish a game and you you have Carnage like that it's um yeah it's really disappointing did it feel like this week you know you had the soul focus and you knew that you were one game at a time did it feel like everything was on on par to sort of go on with the the game you had last week and and score some points did it feel like it was going into that uh no like you just you you you're continually sort of playing the the team in front of you um they came off a really good win we sort of knew uh what we needed to do that's why the the the two tries there were really disappointing we sort of knew what those what it was going to look like there um and I actually enjoyed that it wasn't completely flowing um because it has been for so long and I it would have been great to um you know win 1410 or you know it would have been a really good you know go to Golden point and and play that out but um yeah wasn't to be you know opposition were outstanding they were they were exceptional they played um really good their line speed was good their pressure they defended their line exceptionally well you know you got to um yeah I really enjoyed the contest when it wasn't the normal sort of open flowing and and and a credit to them they they were you know they were fighting for their season I'm not sure where where that puts them but um yeah well done that that was uh really impressive I remember a game they played I think they went to Brisbane last year um and they played an incredible game up there I remember s of going oh they really took that on and um and then a credit to them they they came and did that there and they won in their style so um yeah sometimes you got to tip the cap and say Well done was it good to have like that this time of particular like you say I mean you get games on your own terms but not maybe in September definitely yeah that's what you want one of those games and then you want to you want to win 1412 or 154 or something like that um uh but that's what I liked um our track our attack has got us out of trouble at different times so I wanted us to defend to a victory there and then no defensive tries in the second half we had the attacking try off that and I felt like like we you know we worked hard for that but we just um their goal line D was pressuring stifling and and and we couldn't get it done we don't know what's going to happen with Sam but what are your confidence levels like in this group if they do have to do it without him yeah belief's High you know you just uh uh it's a funny thing that's you know you you go into a game and you you might have lost sort of three guys so you um but I really we've got a squad for that reason you guys don't get to see them always but um you just You've Got to Believe In who who's coming next and and your training that you've done and the system that you've got so let's go let's get excited about moving on to next week and um these are the challenges in in footy that we enjoy what did you make of the two SS there yeah pretty standard sin Bings I'd say how's Brandon with that me yeah he's uh he's gone to get scans it's not great losing your half back if you do is not good but the fact you're scoring so many points does that help in a way like there so many attacking weapons across the par especially him um yeah I mean sand and Smith's a you know we've been developing him for many years and uh he went back and played Reserve grade I would have liked him as 18th man today that would have that would have been nice but it wasn't so uh yeah he's uh the system's right there uh we could have improved some things today but uh I still would have liked two tries you win games three guys three tries it's up to up to the game to decide so um two tries would have been good just in The Press Room we're going back at all the premier in the last 30 or 40 years and can't think of one that's done it without their Top Line halfback just has that sunk in and have toughest amount decline nothing's been nothing's been said okay so um just belief in what we can do let's let's go again what's what happened with Elliot after after the game uh he came up and um just wanted to ask how Brandon was and I just sort of said it's too many times you know the hip drop's been um pretty common in his game for a long time um and I just said it's too many times you know it's cost us a player that that was it he said it was an accident I just said look you've done it too many times that was it wasn't uh so Elliot's done too many DRS yeah he's done a lot in his career you know so um yeah it's been pretty common if you go and have a look it's not you know I like Elliot you know watched him since he was in Bradford and catalans and you know um but it's been pretty common and that that was what I said I know he's opened it up here which is why we're talking about it um and I wouldn't usually want to talk to you guys about it but he opened it up and it's been really common in his game um his whole career so um yeah do you see your next few weeks particularly if those injuries to your hooker and halfback see you as the experienced man in the team yeah it's up to you know me and Ki and our leadership group to to lead the way there but as Robo said um guys that have come in throughout the year have done an amazing job for us I feel like our our depth in our Squad is is really strong and we've shown that throughout the year when guys have been out and guys have stepped in uh for different you know reasons so um I'm really confident in in our Squad and whoever comes in to do a great job for us so um it's a good lesson for us um tonight um we woned a tough game when we got that obviously we would loved to win but um we can take some some positives out of this for sure do you feel like you that close to scoring four or five extra tries yeah I feel like we execution we could have um yeah definitely finish off a couple of those opportunities which would have put us in a good spot but again that's footy sometimes you get that we're going to we're going to have those same situations in big game so it's up to us in the spine um if you guys have to come in start on us to execute and make sure we we now those players in b games it was quite an emotional moment um with K right at the end when he missed that conversion you guys all sort of rallied around him sort of speaks to the impact he has and also to the emotions that are flowing at the moment as well yeah we just whatever we spread whatever happens and we're all back here so um you know K I don't think he really practices too many goal K to be honest so obviously when Samy went down we sort of looking around and um it's not an easy job kicking in in pressure moments so um you know I thought he struck it well and we we all back him so um that's Woody sometimes but the emotion as well I guess because you know he is sort of heading on to like perhaps his last time gam just the emotion of that's also carried throughout this time oh I think it's just we'll just back each other to the to the hills know who was kicking that we back him whether it went over or it didn't we still got your back so does that doesn't Define our season one kick we know it's it's a loss but take our lessons and move on thanks cool thanks
