well Carolina if there's one thing we know about you it's that you're going to come up with some really incredible tennis on the biggest stages in tennis that was really impressive work today taking out the world number five can you share with us a little of the game plan and how you feel like you executed today thank you first of all thank you very much um the plan well the plan was um try to play my game honestly try I was a little bit I have to say I was a little bit nervous from the start so I just was a little bit windy as well so I was trying to get my shots to feel the ball she's incredible player um yeah I'm just I'm just really happy it's it worked again for me here well for those who don't know your story karolina last year here you made it to the semi-finals and then didn't play for 10 months after that dealing with a wrist injury I know you've been through injury before did you always believe that you be back here playing your best tennis uh at those time I I didn't really think of what's what's going to happen honestly this was my worst and most serious injury I would say but yeah I mean I love the sport so in my head I was like I'll do everything I could uh to make it better and and try and and here I am today I'm I'm really grateful for all the people who helped me and and yeah I'm just really really happy kid now so you get the winner of Caroline Waki and beatric hadaj Maya they play later on this court tonight what is your plan for that do you get your favorite New York meal kick your feet back or do you and watch that match or do you let your coaches do that stuff for you uh I'll probably watch a little bit uh yeah I'll just do a recovery and and uh yeah I'll watch them let the best win and then um I'm so happy to play another match in front of this amazing crowd so see you guys in two days before we let you go I have to mention the fact that you have been a hot shot machine over the past eight days or so is that something that you ever practice for fun on the practice court or is that just sheer raw talent you don't have to be modest oh yeah that's that's the only thing I practice actually um now it's I always say it's beging there's luck and I mean somehow it happens I like to play I like to do fun stuff so here and there I pull up some shots in a practice but it's not that I practice it but yeah it was it's been pretty pretty fine here with those shots it's been a whole lot of fun to watch we can't wait to see more in the quarterfinals karolina moova moving on in New York well modest and humble to go alongside to outrageous Talent as well
