🏈 ESPN Full PPR Mock Draft, Pick 1.03

what of the fantasy fellow show my name is Kyle it is July 2nd our Tuesday night ESPN mock draft we're going to be hanging out here the draft's about to start in 40 seconds or so today we're drafting from the 103 in a 12 team full PPR draft here and uh we're excited you know we've already covered picks 101 102 uh there's going to be probably a a comment in the in the comments there showing you guys the playlist of those uh previous drafts and we're going to continue to do this live mock draft Tuesday night 700 P p.m. time so try and hang out with us in the future and if you guys want a draft I always post the link uh to the lobby in the comments about 15 minutes before the show starts so uh this draft's about to begin I did put Jamar Chase on the front cover uh of this uh the thumbnail here for us so we'll see what we can do I did take CMC at 101 and I took CD lamb 102 in the previous videos but there we go we have a little bit of a wrinkle here because CMC goes 101 every kill goes 102 uh in theory here I like I should take CD lamp so even though I have Jamar Chase as the cover who I thought I was going to be taking Jamar Chase over Tyreek Hill uh but I think just to stick with it we're gonna take CD lamb here and start our draft 103 I feel fantastic about that uh 103 we get CD lamb who I think should be the 101 in fantasy drafts this year looks like our guy Harris is with us drafting from the Five Spot we'll kind of monitor his draft uh throughout uh but uh we'll see what happens now we're kind of just chilling here in the first round I'll do a little recap here uh again I did plan on taking Jamar Chase AT3 so I I feel very strongly about him being the third best player uh you can take Tyreek Hill you can take you know um you can take Tyreek Hill you can take Jamar chase you can take one of the running backs Bree hall or bejan uh but for me I very much like to land a wide receiver within the first few picks especially the round one picks the running back exception I think if I had to take one running back in the first round I think it's bejon Robinson who's in the middle of the first uh I don't love taking CMC at the 101 I think I do prefer CD lamb there uh but I think bejan's the guy with the right price that I like the most if I'm drafting a running back there no tight ends that we need to worry about this year in the first round but you can see here we have CMC Tyreek cidd lamb Jamar Chase Bree Hall bejon Robinson and then you have your almond raw St Brown Justin Jefferson pukaa and uh there's AJ Brown as well so I do like I mean these receivers in this first round man we're talking about seven studs that have gone off the board so far so I do think you want to make sure you get a good one if you can uh good evening to JSC hope you're doing well bud Garrett Wilson goes at the 11th spot here and every week that we keep doing these on Tuesday nights I'll keep moving down the draft order so next week we'll do the 104 and then I'm probably going to start uploading some yahoo drafts some sleeper mock drafts and things like that it's July we got nothing else better to do as we're just waiting for training camps to start uh but this draft moving along quickly here um question for like I'm I'm kind of torn between bejan Robinson and Bree Hall I think i' lean with bejan I just I feel a little bit safer about the Atlanta Falcons Outlook this year than I do the Jets I think if the Jets stay healthy and everyone stays on board yeah Bree Hall is gonna smash but I think bejon Robinson man is going to be the guy that I click the most if I'm taking a running back in the first round uh Isaiah Pacho at 112 um that's the highest I've seen him get drafted and I know this is ESPN mock draft like in in best ball drafts he's usually a fourth round pick so a little bit High I Pacho is the top five running back in my projections though so I get it I just don't think I would take him this High I think that's a little bit Rich um but you got Peko at 112 you got saquon Barkley Jonathan Taylor Kieran Williams Chris alve jir Gibbs I I don't mind the value there of jir Gibbs I think the round two is the better round to take a running back this year for being honest like Barkley JT Kieran Gibbs Derrick Henry that looks a lot better for pulling uh running backs in this round so I think if I'm was looking for running backs I think it makes more sense here because not a lot of the receivers stick out here and you can continue to get your first round receiver locking a round two running back and kind of build your team uh like that but I'm going to be up to pick here soon let's just read js's question who do you think are players that are likely to be a let down Cale Williams DJ Moore Swift nji London Nico Deontay zamir and chub and Ford and many more okay um we're gonna make we'll get to this question in a second here I'm gonna make my picks round two and three picks and then we'll get into that excellent question there by JSC uh I got CD lamb uh I don't really take a lot of Pitman I don't really take a lot of these running backs here I've kind of been continuing to just Hammer you know receivers um I I want to see if a running back comes back to me there but I'm I'm going to go ahead and grab Nico Collins who I think is a a really good top 12ish wide receiver I think he's going to be the leading guy on the Houston Texans and uh in most baseball drafts he's a top 15 pick so I know I feel pretty good about getting him there at the end of the second round and because there's a lot of running backs that I like here I I could probably wait and instead of taking them there when I took Nico I'll see who's there at pick 27 and I get a good I mean look at I get four running backs here that I like a lot whether it's etn mix in cook Devon Anan you know if I want ceiling I can go for Anan every week if I want consistency I think I'd go for Travis etn but I'm also open to James Cook and Joe Mixon um I could lean into DK metf Brandon auk DJ Moore some of these exciting wide receivers and you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna take Devonte Smith in this this one as my wide receiver three um but anyways JSC players that you think can be a let down uh DeAndre Swift is one that comes to mind if I'm just looking at names here I think Joe Mixon could be a let down uh I think uh Alvin Chima he's being drafted way too high here on ESPN if you draft him round three you're gonna you're going to be let down I think if you draft him round seven or eight in beste ball you're going to be fine but Alvin chimra kind of a let down Josh Jacobs maybe a let down um I don't think DJ Mo will be a let down but I I am nervous about Keenan Allen DeAndre Swift Cole KT and Romo dun being let Downs um let's see um ra Andre Stevenson could be a let down I know he just got paid everyone's a little excited but I don't know if we expect the Patriots offense to be uh putting up a lot of fantasy numbers a lot of touchdowns and things like that they did bring in Gibson so Stephenson's maybe W I think Z flowers could be a player that lets down if Mark Andrew stays healthy and plays a full season like Z flowers being drafted I think at the end of round three in best ball drafts right now so those are some of the big names that come to mind I think tank D tank D could be like for me ranking the Texans receivers is going to be a huge task if you guys want to succeed in fantasy football this year the Texans are going to be a good team and we have to figure out how to uh how to break them down so I'm ranking them as Nico Diggs and then tank Dow who I I like like tankel but man there's a lot of mouths to feed there I think I'm going to go with Nico every time but let's recap what I got going on here after I took Nico you see Michael Pitman Jr Mike Evans Rashad white Travis Kelce and then I take Devon Smith who to me is he's like locked in to like top 15 top 20 wide receiver numbers and I get him as my wide receiver three I had a hard time picking a running back there that I liked I'm going to continue to kick those down the road uh but what I like about devont Smith is he's he's a very big part of a very good offense and they're transitioning to Kell Moore as offensive coordinator this year which I think could be a huge huge lift for both AJ Brown and Devonta Smith like these guys are both gonna you know flirt with 90 to 100 catches so I think devont is a great pick no matter where you take him but after I take Smith you got auk aan Travis etn Joe Mixon Sam leaport leaport could be a let down in in jsc's question there uh Diggs chimra DK metf James Cook we got quarterbacks starting to come off the board now you got Jaylen Herz DJ Moore Josh Allen Kenneth Walker Cooper cup Dalton kingcade and Josh Jacobs and Debo Samuel I'm on the okay we're up to pick now um I don't have a running back yet there are some guys that I still don't mind here I'm I'm kind of thinking maybe should have grabbed one before I can grab Mahomes Anthony Richardson Mark Andrew Lamar Jackson and that's what I'm going to do I'm going to lock in I think I've done it a couple times in these drafts where I lock in a top five tight end and I I really like grabbing one this year for me it's been Mark Andrews a lot it's been dton King kid but you have leaport and Kelsey usually as the first two guys off the board uh but I I really like waiting for that RB or for the tight end four five because I I feel pretty strongly about that and then what's nice here is I I can pair him with Lamar Jackson I think that's what I'm going to do it's a fun fantasy football for me is like the number one rule is we're here to have fun and I think Lamar Jackson Mark Andrew stack sounds pretty exciting so JSC also thinks leor can be a let down based on where you have to draft him yeah it's just it's too rich it's too rich um and I've documented that you know his tight end one season was phenomenal but if you had to bet if you had to take the over under on Sam lorta touchdowns being 10 this year I think I'm taking the under he's probably in that seven to eight range I would feel comfortable betting there so I think the touchdowns are coming down maybe the other numbers are more the same or going up but you also have you know Mark Andrews and in a full season of trade McBride dton King Kade stepping forward there's a lot there's a lot of things there that uh that boosted Lea last year touchdowns are touchdowns are a hard stat to predict into to bank on in fantasy football so uh we have a exciting group here though we got Lamar Jackson at qb1 CD lamb Nico Collins Mark Andrews and Devon Smith so we're going to go zero we're going to go empty running back that's what we're known for we'll continue to find ways to plug in those RBS but after I take Lamar I I do like Trey McBride quite a bit but we figured we'd get the mark Lamar stack tank Dell who I actually like the tank Dell price here where Harris pulled him in in draft in DraftKings drafters and Underdog he's like a late third round pick which is too high CJ strad Malik neighbors I like the price there on neighbors I love the price here on George Pickins Aaron Jones I like the price on T Higgins Amar Cooper Calvin Ridley I'm fine with these guys uh I think Chris Godwin James Connor are good picks is air white you also got Evan Ingram who is tight end two last year but he might be a guy that is a let down I mean he's tight end too last year and and he really benefited from you know Christian Kirk and a lack of other weapons there so we'll be watching him but we're up to pick here let's see if we can find we need some running backs uh I get my I get my favorite running back to to come to me here I am thinking Dak Prescott's a good value here too if I wanted to wait I could have stacked him with my guy uh CD lamb pretty easily but a lot of receivers that I like here a lot of running backs I'm just going to grab my favorite Jaylen Warren uh I was looking at Brian Robinson there as well uh but man look at the like Christian Kirk Jaden Reed DeAndre Hopkins Deontay Johnson javante Williams there's a lot to like here um so I'm I'm thinking I'm going to go in and get some of these wide receivers and continue to build that depth I'm going to grab Jaden Reed here for the Packers I can easily take Christian Kirk who I think is the number one receiver on his team uh but I'm I'm pretty excited about what's going on in Green Bay so I'll grab Jaden Reed here to be my wide receiver for I'm not crazy about Mike Evans Rashad white etn Kieran puka Adams Jones Mixon worthy mosters that's a good list I am I am pretty nervous about the Tampa Bay guys you mentioned that's why I like grabbing Chris Godwin quite a bit especially in uh in drafters on baseball a season long accumulation I I like Chris Godwin as a sneaky comeback player uh etn I think the thing about etn is is he's kind of like I think he could be like last year's Rashad white where they just don't have anybody behind him still and they got to continue to give him the ball a ton because tank Bigsby is just not good and I think the Jags offense uh can bounce back in in 2024 um nervous about the Rams but like if the Rams are healthy man like down the stretch last year they were one of the best offenses uh in one of the scariest teams entering the playoffs so I I'm slightly interested in P like I'm slightly interested in Kieran I still think PUK is going to be a pretty good pick uh I think Cup's a really good pick where he's going and then yeah I'm kind of out on Adams I think that's Aaron Jones uh Josh Jacobs is okay if he falls uh but he doesn't feel Josh Jacobs in beste ball doesn't feel like much success I think in a redraft format though Josh Jacobs is like that consistent rb2 that you could just look in and say yeah I'm going to leave him in there all season long and I think he'll be okay so there's different levels to a guy like Josh Jacobs but we're up to pick and I get one of my favorite running back fallers to me and again like I go pretty empty at running back but uh I I have a feeling that Austin Eckler could be a really sneaky player this year we're talking about a guy that was banged up on and off last year also had just this whole entire stink of the Chargers around him and I think I'm willing to give him a second chance especially in a full PPR format I'll give him another chance and see what we can get uh out of Austin eckar who's a PPR machine some of the receivers down here are interesting I'm not pulling Sutton Keon Coleman Lockett maybe I think Jameson Williams and worthy are interesting guys but they're kind of Boom bus type players I'm just goingon to keep plugging away I don't feel great about Devin single Terry but he's a volume play and again I'm just trying to plug in some holes at rb2 he has familiarity in Brian D's system and you know he looked good with the Texans last year I think single ter he's not going to be a sexy pick but he could be you know 10 to 12 fantasy points per game so with me I got Warren Eckler and Devon single ter I'm just gonna the way that I so last year I had one of my most successful years in in in Dynasty championships and a redraft championship and just a couple other ones but I just I play roulette with my running backs man I always kind of ride the hot hand and find a way to just get the guys off the waiver wire or just lock in a couple two guys from the draft and I like to make a running back room because that room is going to be always moving uh throughout the year so that's how I play running back um and I well I'm excited to see how they split him up like I even though I like Eckler I'm still very much interested in Brian Robinson who I think is a really good player uh he did some really nice things catching the ball last year too but I think uh we could see some rushing efficiency going for the commanders with Jane Daniels brob and Eckler there I just think Eckler is one of those guys you don't want to bet against I know he has a lot to prove and he's probably going to play with a chip on his shoulder this year but we're having fun here we're moving into the 10th round let me just recap the ninth for you after I took single ter I did miss out on some really nice picks though whether it was Zeke I don't take a lot of Romo Romo dun I'd rather have lad makoni or jsn uh but I'm I'm okay with single ter here Nick chub I'm just not taking Harris grabs Xavier worthy Tyler lockit courland Sutton Blake corum's an interesting stash Keon Coleman who is I think rightfully priced here just not on the best ball sites Mike Williams Caleb Williams T.J hackinson I'll recap the rest of that soon looks like I just missed on one of my favorite running back sleepers though Jerome Ford that was a very nice pull there uh but we're gonna um our roster filled out I'm gonna take a sh I'm gonna take a chance here on Chase Brown being a a receiving back for the Bengals he's a guy that has been working out with wide receivers coaches this summer and I've seen some clips and some videos and he looks like he's making a lot of progress and he could be that dude and then here's here's here's my like I cannot stop clicking this guy in best ball drafts like in the pick like in the 90s now I want to keep taking running backs here whether it's Kendra Miller or Marshon Lloyd like those are the two guys that stick out but give me Curtis Samuel give me the potential Buffalo Bills wide receiver one I think this year I I just I don't see Keon Coleman being the team's number number one wide receiver at least not this year I think it's very clearly uh dton King Kate is probably the number one Target but I think in terms of receivers it's going to be Curtis Samuel khil Shakir and then Keon Coleman so I'm grabbing the hell out of Curtis Samuel I think in a full PPR League man he's he's going to be a guy that you're going to feel comfortable whipping out as your our wide receiver three or your Flex some really good picks go after I guess late in this round I think Brock Bowers is a fun stash down here Harris grabs Marshon Lloyd into some kickers in defenses I think Rasheed Shahed is a better bestas ball player I don't know if I want him on my redraft team but maybe who knows what's going on with JK Dobbins I'm sure we'll get a camp update on him in a couple of weeks we got alir fire burn Darnell Mooney jacobe Myers Jal M Laughlin here Harrison bucker lion Ste so we're just at that point of the draft where some Auto drafters are getting some of the better players here but I'm still going to find some values here whe whether it's I mentioned Cleo Shakir who I think is a pretty good pick Dallas GD really shouldn't be going this late I think Romeo dos one of my favorite running back stashes is gonna be Rico D who I think he could be the the rb1 in Dallas so keep an eye out on that training camp battle I still think Zeke's probably the favorite to lead them in touches but again not going to be surprised if if he's their guy because I have Mark Andrew I think it's a waste of a spot to draft a backup uh tight end here I could easily grab a Dallas Goddard but then I'm going to be I'm going to be holding on to Goddard the whole season or I can try and trade him whatever but I'm going to keep taking swings at running back we're going to go with Tai Chandler backup running back for the Minnesota Vikings we know Aaron Jones is going to do something where he misses some time and I think uh the Vikings running back Tai Chandler last year actually looked pretty good he was able to kind of push Alexander Madison out of the way uh didn't have a consistent end of the season but you could see you know they like to gave him some volume you know 10 to 12 maybe carries per game and he was a solid receiving back here so he's just somebody that I I throw at the end of my bench I have one defense one kicker spot left and then one bench spot so we'll kind of look and fill that up with the best flex player I just want to look and see what's going on deep down here um ad I Mitchell an interesting pick I like the Tyler Conlin pull there by Harris I love de Mario Douglas Dallas GD Romeo dobs I think that's a great string of picks right there I like all those names Jaylen Wright I I don't know if I have the patience but like we one Raheem moard to Devon aan injury away from seeing galon uh Jaylen Wright as the rb2 in Miami I think Kurt Cousins is a great like this guy did a good job here Le's Optimum team gets Brock pie and Kurt Cousins to play qb1 with that's a pretty nice Duo Marvin MIM Shakir Thelen Gabe Davis I love the oh man the Brandon Cooks pole if I didn't have cidd I would have loved the Brandon Cooks poll but you got Goff there by Harris and dolphins D let's see if I can find the best flex player available running backs I think chuba hubard is the starting running back to start the season I don't mind pulling him at wide receiver I do feel pretty good about my receivers but like I could I could pull someone here overall not going to be a big concern for me so I'm just I'm gonna take chuba hubber who I think I think he's the starting running back for the Panthers week one uh we do have to see how Jonathan Brooks is doing in his recovery and see if he's even going to be ready for week one so I'll grab a defense here bills Jags Chargers Bengals bears oh my it's too early to think about it I'm just gonna go I'm gonna go bills here yet I do I gotta look at uh week one and week two and kind of figure out what I like to do from there but we'll grab our kicker to finish this off and then we'll just kind of do a recap it's going to be a little bit quicker video for tonight um but we're uh we're looking pretty strong here I think we have a well balanced team I feel good about my my starting positions because I I have some top end receivers I have a top five tight end I have a top five QB and then I'm just gonna piece together running back kind of just like I always do uh for me the draft is the best part of fantasy football and I know that I'm gonna miss on a good amount of my picks but I don't want to I don't want to leave myself in a at one or two positions but I like I like adding running backs on the waiver Weare that's always the most easy position to replace uh volume with so we'll continue to to play the running back waiting I got a bunch on my team here but we'll talk about that in a sec let's grab a kicker here I don't care who it is we'll go the Dolphins kicker okay we'll review my team real quick here and we we'll kind of talk through what's going on so uh pick 103 we get gifted with CD lamb who I mentioned I I think he's I think he's the 101 this year feel really good about CD lamb 103 is a steel Nico Collins as my wide receiver too I think he's like my wide receiver 14 or 15 so I'm getting a like a a topend wide receiver too and then I feel pretty strongly about Devonte Smith we're putting him in our Flex spot I think he is I think I have two oh I guess I have three top 20 wide receivers this year and if anything happens to AJ brown or maybe damonta Smith takes a step forward maybe he's in the CD lamb roll in Kell Moore's offense here that could be kind of fun we'll figure that out but I have three stud receivers I have a stud tight end to Mark Anders with Lamar Jackson that's a really exciting stack I pulled Jaylen Warren there as I'm just goingon to leave him in my lineup every week as my running back Jaden Reid will be competing for Flex duties Austin Eckler Devin single ter Chase Brown competition for my rb2 spot Curtis samel just chilling on the bench and then even more stash plays here at running back Rico Tai Chandler chuba hubard uh it's nice I got you know my my receivers are set and then I got about seven running backs that I'll be able to kind of play throughout the year and figure out what to do so we completely platooned it overall I feel pretty good about that team I think that could be a winning team in this league and then let's finish up with Harris's team here try to get my three favorite rookies on a team but I got sniped on Daniels right before my pick all right so Harris ends up with and this was from the 105 um I wish I could see this better ESPN uh but he goes Justin Herbert Bree Hall and Devon Anan very good running backs receivers are London Debo and tank Dell Pat fryou at the tight end so he waited for tight end and waited for quarterback grabbed early RB early receiver uh Packers D Buffalo kicker and then the bench looks pretty good here Monty Kirk Moss worthy Lloyd Conlin and Jared Goff um very nice Harris this was a very strong team you got your you got your some of your rookies there with with Lloyd and worthy and maybe next time you get Jaden Daniels I think jayen Daniels is a pretty good pick as especially uh you seem to be in a Groove with waiting for QB so getting two QBs I think is a great way to play it uh because it allows you to just continue investing in the running back and wide receiver positions or a tight end if you want and honestly in a 12 team league if you're if you're playing in a 12 team League that it's only one C be it's at your advantage I think to wait and and grab two of the guys that are you know ranked 10 to 14 and one of those guys could emerge as like a top three top five QB and you kind of just play the the you know the game each week and see who to start so I like what Harris has going on here he seems to uh to have really well uh stances on Bree Hall Devon Anan here some good running back some really good receivers and then he's going to try and platoon uh the tight end and QB positions so nice draft there Harris uh that's going to do it for tonight though we're going to get out here a little bit early uh I do think I think we're doing a live stream tomorrow night we're going to try and do a beste ball live stream tomorrow night so that'll be a full hour uh but next Tuesday we'll go live again Tuesday about 7 PM central time we'll do another draft from the 104 and uh basically after the holiday season we'll we'll kind of just get buckled down and start putting out more content and having
