DO NOT Make These MISTAKES in ESPN Fantasy Football Leagues!

Intro if you're playing Fantasy Football on ESPN I'm going to help you avoid making the worst picks you can in the first 10 Rounds sometimes it's not even about the player being good or bad it's just about the cost of drafting and where they're going I'm going to give you all the reasoning you need to not ruin your fantasy team on draft day with these picks we'll go round by round looking at the worst picks in rounds 1 to 10 let's go saquan Barkley round one ADP of 11 yes saquon is playing on the best Round 1 - Saquon Barkley offense of his career but it doesn't add up enough to take him this high Barkley's only averaged 293 receiving yards per season over the last three years falling below 1.0 yards per route run in two of the last three seasons the Eagles threw the ball to running backs at the 12th lowest rate last year and that's before we mentioned the fact that Jaylen hurz when he gets to the goal line is an absolute cheat code he had 16 Rush attempts inside the five yard line last year which was the eighth most across the league and turned 16 attempts into 13 touchdowns why would you go away from that just because you got saquan Barkley in the back field over the last three is Barkley's averag a 12.9% avoided tackle rate that's lower than both DeAndre Swift and my sanders saquan Barkley has been an awesome NFL and fantasy running back you shouldn't be taking him in round one of drafts round two Patrick Mahomes ADP of 23 I love Round 2 - Patrick Mahomes Patrick Mahomes we clearly know that he is the best quarterback possibly that we've ever seen in the NFL but he said one top three QB finish in the past three seasons the fact that he doesn't rush for as many yards as the guys like Jaylen Herz Josh Allen doesn't get used around the goal line like they do it makes it so much harder for him to compete with their fantasy scores yes Mahomes has got an upgrade across the board for weapons this year but he shouldn't be going ahead of the Dual threats definitely not in the second Round 3 - Joe Mixon round round three ADP of 26 it's Joe Mixon I did the video for Yahoo and his ADP there is 42 and I felt that that was too high 26 I don't know what's going on here on ESPN Mixon he hasn't been healthy all offseason the knock on Mixon is often that he gets banged up throughout the season and becomes less productive but this year he's not even going to be healthy going into the season there's been times where he's been really touchdown Reliant and he's kind of got himself out of trouble with those five touchdown games that he'll put in for the Bengals but I don't think we're going to get that from the Texans Joe Mixon is a good player and a good running back but the Bengals were quite happy to move on from him and that Round 4 - CJ Stroud should tell you something round four ADP of 42 it's J stra I promise you I do not hate the Texans but I can't get on board with this round four price for a player who was responsible for just two of the top 100 QB performances in 2023 yes CJ stad has got Stefon Diggs yes he's got tank Dell who will be healthy yes he's got Nico Collins coming off a new contract not to mention the tight ends the running backs this is a really expensive price for a quarterback whose offensive coordinator last year loved to run the ball on first downs Maybe Texans open things up this year and they're more aggressive in the passing game but stad he doesn't have the rushing ability that the other top quarterbacks do so for him to compete with the guys who are putting up five Rush attempts per game he's going to need three touchdowns or so and 250 yards minimum every week to compete if you can get stoud in round six that's a smash but round four I am not paying that while you're here hit that subscribe button we've got Dynasty redraft DFS best ball we cover it all we've got so much great information on this channel with so many great guests we will set you up to win big in 2024 Round 5 - Evan Engram round five with an ADP of 57 it's Evan Ingram I do not understand why Evan Ingram's going this High you shouldn't be trying to fill out your starting lineup as quick as possible in games with Christian Kirk on the field Evan Ingram's production it plummets down to 11 points per game all his Spike weeks occur when Christian Kirk is out injured adding Brian Thomas and Gabe Davis to the mix this could be the best set of weapons that Trevor Lawrence has ever had and he's going to spread the ball Round 6 - Cleveland Browns DST around round six with an ADP of 72 stop trying to fill your starting lineup as quick as possible the Cleveland Browns as a defense do not deserve to be going in the top 72 picks no defense does no defense should even be picked inside the top 100 picks betting on defense for Fantasy purposes is incredibly tricky we see defensive regression year over-year both for Ravens and the Browns are probably primed for regression over great Seasons that they had last year this brown team is incredibly banged up they face a really tough schedule they've got a terrible quarterback at the minute they've got Denzel Ward who's just suffered his fifth concussion in six years and people were asking whether he was going to retire now just because the defense is good it doesn't mean they're going to put up points for Fantasy wait a few more rounds and take another defense instead use this opportunity to fill out your wide receiver and running back rooms with real depth instead round seven 80P of 82 Round 7 - Austin Ekeler eeka and Austin ecka is the easiest fade of this season for me he's coming off an awful year by his standards PFF grading him at a career low 60.2 that's a massive drop from his career average of 79.6 eka also saw his missed tackles Force per game dropped from 4.2 in 2022 to 2.9 in 2023 he also set career lows and yards after contact per attempt and that's a number that's fallen for EA for six straight years yes I know he had the high ankle sprain but if you're saying that he's going to bounce back I don't see it because this is an offense that probably isn't going to throw the running backs that often we know duel fret quarterbacks don't tend to check the ball down because they trust their own ability to be a to get out in space we know that Brian Robinson is loved by this Commander team he seems to have the goal line work from what we've seen in the preseason and this offense it's going to play hurry up Cliff Kingsbury likes to play hurry up which means that the starter tends to stay on the field a lot Brian Robinson seems to be the starter he's going to get the majority of snaps and I just don't think that you can take Austin eeka with a top 100 pick Round 9 - Nick Chubb round nine Nick chub going with an ADP of 108 I love Nick chub he is without a doubt one of the best running backs we've ever seen in the NFL but he's 29 years old and coming off a multi- ligament injury that required multiple surgeries yes he's been out there squatting like 585 pounds but that's a movement that comes back much earlier than being able to cut being able to deal with multiple people try to tackle you at once the Browns they've added D Foreman as well as having Jerome Ford who's expected to play a big role in this offense everything coming out of the brown suggests that they expect Nick chub to ramp up slowly across the course of the season but even then Jerome Ford's still going to mix in the browns offensive line is incredibly banged up at the minute both tackles are dealing with big injuries this offensive line could be bad their quarterback play could be bad and it could make it really difficult for players like Nick chub to pay off his cost particularly when he's going inside the first 110 picks round Round 10 - Aaron Rodgers 10 ADP of 118 it's Aaron Rodgers Aaron Rogers have been one of the best quarterbacks we've ever seen in the NFL we're playing in the NFL age 40 is not something many players can do particularly at a high level and particularly if you're coming off a Tor Achilles as well Rogers he simply hasn't been particularly fantasy relevant now since 2021 when he won his last MVP in 2022 he saw his yards per attempt dropped to 6.8 that was his lowest since 2015 second lowest of his career Rogers he finished as the QB 23 in points per game that year threw 12 interceptions that was the most he thrown since 2008 you go and look for the last time he threw for 300 yards in a game it was a long time ago Aaron roders he's just not qb1 Material in fantasy leagues anymore he isn't going to give you anything from his legs and rush in he isn't going to play fast because he likes to play Slow he likes to play conservative he checks at the line make sure he's not going to throw interceptions or incompletions in real NFL terms Aaron roders can be a really good quarterback this year maybe even make the Pro Bowl but I don't think you want him on your fantasy go and take somebody with rushan upside with higher ceiling with more weapons than just one good wide receiver we want to chase ceiling in fantasy and I just don't think Aaron Rogers has that ceiling Outro anymore those were the worst picks you could make in rounds 1 to 10 on ESPN if you want to go check out the best picks you can make on ESPN go and watch the video over tier right now and it will get you set up to win big in 2024
