over the next week and a half millions of people are going to be drafting their fantasy football teams that's why you need the best rankings possible because when the season comes to an end you better believe that headliner nation is walking away with those Rings those trophies those belts and most importantly some fat stacks of [Music] cash head yeah what is going on headliner Nation today we're going to be talking about our top 50 players for Fantasy Football in 2024 and I know a lot of people are looking forward to some rankings because so many people are drafting their team here over the next couple of days now we're not going to be talking about any quarterbacks in today's show I think at this point everyone knows that Josh Allen Patrick Mahomes Jaylen Herz CJ St and Lamar Jackson they're the top five quarterbacks for everyone on Earth but you've also heard me say over this offseason that I do not want to spend a pick on a quarterback in the first four rounds if I don't have to now I'm hoping that one of these guys falls to the fifth if it doesn't happen oh well I'll just take Jord Love or Brock pie or somebody a little bit later but let's go ahead and get right into it if the thought of last minute rankings get you more excited than that feeling on draft day when you're watching League mates draft an absolute crappy team do me a favor and hit the like button right now let's go ahead and just put all of tier one up here at the top it's Christian mcaffrey Tyreek Hill Breece Hall CI lamb bejon Robinson and Alan raw St Brown now some question marks surrounding a couple of these players but as of right now not in line to definitely miss any time we know Christian mcaffrey is dealing with that calf strain head coach Kyle Shanahan has come out and said listen he is progressing quickly it's looking like he should be good to go to start the season if at the time of your draft though you do not have any more up-to-date information or maybe you just have an uneasy feeling go ahead and pass on him the other guys in this tier are still Elite level players it really comes down to how much risk do you want to take in your fantasy football team because everyone knows if Christian mcaffrey plays he's basically a walking 20 bomb every single week right after him it's Tyreek Hill in an offense that we know is going to put up a ton of points back-to-back years of 1700 plus receiving yards and then Bree Hall an upgraded offensive line an upgraded offense overall with Aaron roders coming back defenses are going to have to pay attention to the passing game which means Bree Hall is probably going to see the biggest Lanes he's ever seen to run through in the NFL and and then it's cidd lamb a lot of things surrounding cidd lamb and his contract situation do I think that cidd lamb sits out this season no Dallas needs to pay cidd lamb at this point they're starting to fall behind in the division and really when you look at the Cowboys it sure doesn't look like they're going all in on anything literally their number two wide receiver right now may be Jaylen tobert and you know he ain't out there making that fat stack of cash so cidd lamb I got to think is going to be on the field all year long then it comes to bejan Robinson now the biggest issue with bejon last year was not bejon it was Arthur Smith and he's gone he's now in Pittsburgh so bejon Robinson should be Unleashed in Atlanta an overall better offense as well with a new quarterback and ktk cousins now I'm going to be honest the only reason I don't have beon above Breeze Hall is Tyler Alger is still a capable running back now his role is not going to be huge but he's still going to take away a few touches each and every week but obviously not enough for me to not have beon up here in the top tier and then I also had to include Alan raw St Brown in my opinion the safest first round pick at the wide receiver position and it may not even be that close the guy continues to get better year after year the lions are a top five NFL offense year after year and what has really changed in Detroit to make us think that it's not going to happen again this year the answer is not a whole lot Alan Ross St Brown once again is going to be a guy that you can put in your lineup each and every week and and Bank on the fact that he's going to get you at least 10 fantasy points it's big plays it's touchdowns it's volume it's the whole package but all right we've made it through one tier now and if you haven't subscribed yet your fantasy football team is going to start the season 0 in advance but okay let's go ahead and dive in to tier two now tier two is where we have the likes of Jamar Chase Justin Jefferson Jonathan Taylor Derk Henry Garrett Wilson saquin Barkley Jamir Gibbs Travis etn and kairon Williams I know a lot of people are looking at Jamar Chase as another one of those contract situations is he going to get paid is he going to be on the field he's got to be at this point we know that t Higgins is going to walk after this season Jamar Chase is a part of the future plans of the Cincinnati Bengals having him with burrow is going to be their plan long term after that we got Justin Jefferson a lot of people worried about Justin Jefferson because his quarterback is now going to be Sam darnold and he isn't exactly Joe montaia out there but you got to remember we saw Justin Jefferson the end of 2023 with no Kirk Cousins and he was putting up numbers with Nick Mullins Justin Jefferson is definitely one of those wide receivers that's a little bit quarterback proof now is his ceiling maybe what it was a couple years ago no and that's why he's not the number one overall wide receiver anymore however his floor and the volume he sees is so high it still makes him a first round pick which then brings us to Derrick Henry and a lot of people want to say the king is washed again they've been saying this now for like three straight years and it just never happens now he's on one of the heaviest rushing teams in the NFL a team that's going to lean on him especially around the goal line so they can keep Lamar Jackson healthy an overall offense that isn't stacked with weapons I still like Derrick Henry quite a bit what about Garrett Wilson a lot of people are concerned about Aaron roders but we're already seeing that connection in Camp Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson are going to put up huge fantasy numbers now obviously that's tied to the health of Aaron roders but you can say that same thing about so many other fantasy wide receivers that it's not just a Garrett Wilson problem I'm really excited to see what his ceiling could be cuz he's been putting up thousand yard seasons with crap at the quarterback position then we have saquan Barkley in of the better overall offenses in the NFL the best offensive line he's had in quite some time three receiving options now to really pull Defenders outside of the box saquan maret absolutely Feast this year then we got jir Gibbs a little bit banged up but he should be good to go to start the season he really didn't get a roll until halfway through 2023 and put on a show now he gets a full season of it the dude ceiling is something we haven't even seen yet Travis etn in Jacksonville another offense that's going to rely on their running back Travis etn may not be the most efficient running back but he backs it up with volume now in an offense with a healthy Christian Kirk we got Gabe Davis new rookie Brian Thomas Jr there's going to be some touchdown opportunities once again and that's why Travis etn is right here followed by Kiren Williams at the Los Angeles Rams now a lot of people are putting a lot of eggs in the basket of Kiren Williams based off of what they saw last year but we've never seen Kiron Williams play a full NFL season and now they've drafted basically his clone Blake corm now in no way am I saying that Kiren Williams is going to be some type of Buster he's not going to have a great season he has that opportunity in this offense for sure we just have him maybe a couple spots lower than some other running backs that we feel a little bit more comfortable in because we've seen it more longterm all right now let's dive in to the next tier we're going to continue to go down here to tier three right here we have AJ Brown Devonte Adams Marvin Harrison Jr Mike Evans heavy wide receiver here to start Josh Jacobs Chris olave Brandon auk Michael Pitman Joe Mixon our first tight end in Sam leaport and Drake London and the first thing you may be thinking when you hear that list is damn AJ Brown is kind of low isn't he we really don't think so this year this Philadelphia offense is absolutely stacked They just added Jan doson as their number three wide receiver we know about Devonte Smith in Dallas Gard they brought in saquon Barkley we know Jaylen Herz scores a ton of rushing touchdowns himself it's going to be somewhat Hit or Miss for AJ Brown in 2024 and we've been saying this all offseason now the trade of acquiring Jan doson only makes things more complicated is he going to have big weeks for sure is he going to end the season as one of the top fantasy wide receivers for sure but the production is going to be up and down for Devonte Adams we definitely expect a lot of volume going the way of Devonte Adams sure they have guys like jacobe Meyers a new tight end there in Brock Bowers Trey Tucker in the slot but Devonte Adams with now what we know as Gardner menu as the starting quarterback is going to see so much volume he needs to be this High we really saw Gardner muu lock onto his number one guy in Indianapolis last year with Michael Pitman expect the same this year with Devonte Adams then we have the stud rookie Marvin Harrison Jr in Arizona the clear number one option in this passing offense sure we like Trey McBride we like Michael Wilson we like Greg dorch big dorch energy but Marvin Harrison Jr is the big play guy in this offense he's going to be the guy scoring the touchdowns in the passing game in this offense and I believe Arizona is going to be trailing a lot in 2024 having to play catchup which means more passing volume then we got Mike Evans what has changed in Tampa Bay that's going to be enough of a change to where Mike Evans isn't going to go out once again and get a, yards and 10 touchdowns everyone wants to bring up the change at offensive coordinator now that Dave canel has gone in Carolina it's not going to change that much we've already seen the chemistry with Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans and he is the a model of consistency that's why he's still here in this tier which then we go down to Josh Jacobs I don't understand the dislike for Josh Jacobs this year the running game in Green Bay has always been productive the biggest issue there has been health so if Josh Jacobs can stay healthy he's going to see plenty of volume and have plenty of touchdown opportunities with that young offense with Jordan love with davien Wicks Jaden Reed Romeo dos there's going to be scoring opportunities I still like Josh Jacobs this year then we got Chris olve the clear number one receiving threat in New Orleans the volume is going to be there can the connection between him and Derek Carr be a little bit better can it be a little bit more consistent this year that's all we really need then we got Brandon auk the trade rumors have been going for what feels like months but as of right now dude's in San Francisco and when he's in San Francisco he's a proven fantasy commodity what about Michael Pitman now he gets Anthony Richardson back this year we know Josh DS is a little bit banged up but they also drafted wide receiver Adonai Mitchell Michael Pitman may not have the ceiling that we've seen the past year or two but still a super safe consistent wide receiver then we got Joe Mixon now in Houston and I absolutely love myself some Joe Mixon this year in arguably one of the best NFL offenses in 2024 the trio of wide receivers the upgraded offensive line the touchdown opportunities that are going to be there for Joe Mixon love it then we got Sam leaport the number two option in the passing offense of Detroit we already talked about alond raw St Brown a little bit ago Sam leor is going to be the number two in that offense and he showed last year that as a rookie tight end he could still finish as the top tight end in fantasy that's why he's here in this tier as well which then only leaves us Drake London to finish out this tier and honestly I think Drake London has a career year does he have a top 10 fantasy year that's going to be a tall test that's a tough ask of Drake London I still expect Darnell Mooney and Kyle pittz and bejon Robinson to be super active in this offense so even though Drake London is going to see decent volume can he score enough touchdowns to finish that highly I still think he's a top 15 guy no doubt but all right now we're through three tiers and you're starting to realize you're going to have a lot of great options on your team this season how are you going to make all these decisions allow it but all right now we're going into tier four here's where we have the likes of Debo Samuel Travis Kelce Cooper cup Rashad white Isaiah Pacho puka AA Nico Collins DJ Moore Jaylen Wadd Stefan Diggs and DK medf now the first thing I noticed about this tier is there is a lot of Boomer bust in this tier for sure there are guys in tier four that are going to win you matchups throughout the season are they going to win you every single matchup that's kind of where we've dropped them down into tier four together we got Debo Samuel we know he's kind of one of those weekly Boomer bus guys and is consistently dealing with injuries however if something were to happen with brand auk his ceiling would Skyrocket Travis Kelce obviously a little bit lower than he has been in years past and I understand a lot of people don't agree with that but Patrick Mahomes has more weapons at his disposal than maybe he's had ever in the NFL we know that Rashid rice is going to be on the field majority of the Season we also know that Hollywood Brown is only going to miss two weeks of the regular season we have Xavier worthy there still a backfield there's other options it's not just Travis Kelce and I have a feeling they give him a lesser role to start the season to make sure he stays healthy all season and into the playoffs where they definitely need him then Cooper cup what's the split going to be like between him and puka Naka because they're both right here in this tier we know that puka is a little bit banged up and we also know that Cooper cup hasn't stayed healthy now for two straight Seasons overall though they're going to have a solid year in La a team that we know is going to be looking their way a lot we also have Rashad white not enough is really going to change with Rashad white to where we don't want to make him another fantasy option this year is it disgusting to watch him run on the ground yeah it kind of is but he's still going to get all kinds of checkdowns from Baker Mayfield So he deserves to be this High there's where we have Isaiah Pacho next we know he runs angry and because of that he tends to get banged up throughout the season now here in the preseason Carson steel out there looking like damn Thor running all over people does he earn a role in this offense that's something to pay attention to and then right after him is where we have puka just mentioned him when talking about Cooper cup then Nico Collins I love ni Collins I am the OG ni truther I told everyone in their mother to draft him last year and it worked out I got to drop him down this year yes I know he got paid but they brought in Stefan Diggs and not to just look at him out there on the field he's going to get targets but more importantly than that tank Dell is also back and healthy as well a three-way split in targets is not ideal for wide receivers in fantasy football then we go to jayen Waddle a lot of people are down on Jaylen waddle this year because the season he had last year when in reality the biggest issue he had last year was just staying on the field still a thousand-yard wide receiver and one of the best offenses in football here we have Stefan Diggs we talked about Nico Collins Stefan Diggs is going to suffer from the exact same thing sure he's disappeared at times in Buffalo in years past is he washed absolutely not he's just not a top 10 guy anymore then we have DK MEF the biggest issue that DK had last year was getting catchable balls from Gino Smith it was not a volume issue it was not a DK medcafe issue it wasn't a getting open issue it was a Gino issue now those are things we didn't have to worry about two years ago so if Gino can bounce back DK is going to be a pleasant surprise for a lot of people in 2024 which is then going to take us to our last tier our final tier here where we have George Pickins Malik neighbors Devonte Smith James Cook Kenneth Walker Amari Cooper Terry McClaren Alvin Kamar Devon Anan Rashid rice Trey McBride Chris Godwin and Raheem damn near I'm still a mustart mostard now right off the bat with George Pickins the dude is in line for huge volume does Arthur Smith screw it up does the quarterback play actually improve like it should with Justin fields or Russell Wilson it has to and picking still put up good numbers last year with bad quarterback play what about Malik neighbors talking about bad quarterback play I've been talking all off season how people are overhyping Malik neighbors but not because it's a neighbors issue it's because Daniel Jones blows early in the offseason Daniel Jones had all kinds of people out there on social media defending him that he was going to bounce back and this is what he needed and then the preseason started and everybody realized once again that Daniel Jones still blows if he could get consistent quality volume to Malik neighbors he'd probably be up inside tier three but I can't trust him for that what about Devonte Smith well now we know he's splitting with AJ Brown Jan doson saquon Barkley in the backfield Dallas got it as well so he's dropped down a couple spots James cook in line for huge volume in Buffalo do they commit that huge volume to them do they really try to open up the passing game more with all the guys they have available whether it's Keon Coleman or khil Shakir and really try to you know utilize Dalton conade a little bit more this season that's a little bit of a question mark But James Cook in line for another great season Kenneth Walker in Seattle if Kenneth Walker could stay on the field for 17 games he would probably be a top 12 running back yearly the problem is that rarely happens and he goes up and down so frequently that he's more of a top 20 guy he's got a ton of truthers out there but we still got him a little bit lower then we go to Amari Cooper now the biggest issue with Amari Cooper is Deshawn Watson this dude in my opinion and this is my opinion he's washed okay the guy just really doesn't have a whole lot left he got his money and he's basically sucked ever since the only Silver Lining I can see there is if he were to not play at all this season at some point we're going to have jamus Winston coming in at quarterback and that dude just locks on to his number one wide receiver which would be Amari Cooper then we got Terry McClaren who I feel is definitely trending up now after Jan doson has been traded is it enough to say that Terry mclen is some top 12 guy no probably not we're going to see a little bit more of Luke mcaffrey maybe the rookie tight end Ben son not we still have other options in this offense it's not just Terry mccl but he's definitely trending up then we got Alvin Kamar a lot of people hopping off the Alvin Kamar bandwagon and he really is nowhere near as efficient as he used to be however Derek Carr is going to check the ball down a lot and after Alvin Kamar you got Chris olve and Rasheed Shahed is next in line but he's not a volume guy still going to see a lot of balls go in the way of Alvin Kamara then we got Devon hm probably lower than most people we've talked about him at length this off season he is a dynamic player he can put up points in a hurry but can he stay healthy for a 177 Game season where he's currently being drafted in ADP he would have to play a minimum of 15 games this year to have a chance at producing a draft return and that's if he pretty much stays at the level he was last year which was crazy so we've dropped him down a little bit I actually love the drafting of Jaylen Wright their rookie running back is going to have a role this season Miami's goal is to have all three of their running backs Raheem moer Devon hm and Jaylen Wright be healthy all year long and really keep that offense Dynamic and keeping the opposing defenses on their toes then we have Rashid rice he's moved up the rankings because it looks like he's going to be on the field for at least the first 14 games of the season now you can disagree with that all you want to but it's it's out of all of our hands he's going to be on the field and if he's on the field with Patrick Mahomes as his quarterback he's going to put up fantasy points then we got Trey McBride the tight end in Arizona after Marvin Harrison Jr Trey McBride is going to be next up on the list for targets we saw him pop at times last season then we got Chris Godwin I love Chris Godwin this year they're putting him back in the slot fulltime something they didn't do until the end of the season in 2023 do you remember what Chris Godwin did the end of 2023 dude was a top 10 overall wide receiver in fantasy football and then lastly Raheem moard kind of talked about him when we talked about Devon hm he's going to get first crack at early down carries in one of the best overall offenses in the NFL now yes he's not some young guy anymore he's on the wrong side of 30 but he's still lightning fast and he knows how to find the end zone in my opinion he's being a little bit too underrated here in 2020 24 so there you have it the top 50 players in tier form here for 2024 now I know a lot of you guys have drafts coming up and we wish you nothing but the best be sure to have done a little bit of prep going into your draft know the players you really want know the players you really want to avoid until at least a certain point in the draft the last thing you want to do is to be on the clock as that timer is ticking down and you have no idea which direction you want to go I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of your teams
