Strongest Bowling Ball of 2024? | Max Hook Unleashed!

all right what's going on everyone welcome to the channel we have a sweet ball for you look at this thing I'm going to get close I'm going to get close the all new ion Max the colors look great what are we thinking about this thing Kyle it gives me like a cotton candy bu definitely a little cotton candy but uh we got a beefed up ion I know the ion was a uh it a big hit a lot of people liked it so let's get into this review so the original ion that came out was 2 3 4 months ago probably and we have it here on the rack and it was not designed to be the strongest ball it didn't have a whole lot of diff which is the flare potential it didn't flare a whole lot very very popular ball the mixture of strength the face two uh cover with a little bit less diff in the in the core was really really good middle ground very very bench Marky ball right here very much so they took that core and slapped a part on the side of it that gave it more diff okay so now this new ion Max is literally maxed it's maxed out baby it is similar to one of your really really strong asymmetric I don't think it's going to be as strong as a gym or anything but it is designed to be a hook monster it's designed to be bold on oil so really excited about this ball we're going to trial it out here on a 41t Montreal which is a sport pattern however it is easier it is easier than our house shot yeah we originally had the house shot out and immediately reoiled to an easier sport shot because I don't know what they're doing on this old it's an old house shot they don't use it anymore and for good reason because it is tough we don't bu get on it no so let see this beefed up ion all right all right all right so little warmup shot plenty of oil out on this pattern way more than the house shot yeah so the biggest difference you know the like we said the original ion it's going to be benchmarking when there's a ton of oil out there you're probably not going to want to throw it but this one specifically is meant for heavier you know oil conditions it's going to flare more ball is going to read a lot more so if there's a lot of oil out there you can throw this ball oh yeah send it being aggressive all right we got some oil out there we got some oil and as always when we're doing Ball Reviews we're just we actually like misses because it shows us shows us what's really going on with the ball you know what's Wild is you know when I for me I like balls solid color bone balls balls with not a whole lot of Pop going on but this one going on you got the white you got the pink normally I wouldn't like it but this color blend I don't know goes together pretty well doesn't like make me feel like I'm having a seizure while I'm watching my ball oh the paralyzer 5 baby how about that it actually I don't know if you remember a an older ball called the critical Fury yeah I remembered it yeah I do it didn't have any pink in it but it kind of when it goes down the lane it kind of reminds me of that all see we get the five out right oh I tried to give that last one the uh the fluff I did the opposite and you tried to hit so far what I'm seeing is you can feel the stronger cover I can feel it one the Dig and you know it's definitely getting into a roll it's definitely reading the lane it's not going super far down the lane and kind of Jack knifing on us which what it's supposed to do [Music] that was really good oh man that was really good yeah it has the feel of a strong ball definitely a heavy oil ball for sure if you guys back in 2013 if you ever threw a Marvel s same cover it's called the NRG they brought it back it was also used in 2017 on the high road Nano they were both really strong balls all right now that we both struck do we move on to the competition now let's do it now [Music] wow now I know why you're moving left so 15 love 15 love so this Montreal pattern I mean we typically have to start out with pretty strong balls but what I like about this I Max and I could be wrong but it doesn't feel like it's as strong as like a jam or reality we throw a lot but still is strong oh that's got a way out there roll it okay so those are the shots when we review balls that yeah you threw that terrible yeah but but it didn't split and it almost got back we call that a lot of nine a lot of nine a lot of nine and we're about to call this a lot of 10 on the house sh that was six get this back I love love yes it was that so good9 can you believe good that was oh my gosh even Sten do you get the honors now or do is it just I don't know what should we do oh we just yeah let's let's you go you go ahead let's let's reverse the order here a little bit another really good one oh my God the roll out light see when I did that it left a five we got a little pressure actually it's still an even game I mean we could way good that was good oh I love that the fact that that didn't wrap 10 felt so good that was an awesome shot that was could keep that in front of me I trust it reading the lane like it's forward it's still hitting the pins well like that's awesome right there ah little turkey little turkey man turkey so turkey's three in a row what is three misses in a row called I have no clue man a buzzard you dad tell you that one no uh someone at the Tor trous told me that uh there's an announcer back in the day that that was just apparently it was a thing apparently it didn't stay a thing but oh get lucky God was that the five you just love to see it did the five actually just fall into the 10 seven fell into the five and then the five fell into the 10 got to find a little bit more oil my Ball's kind of rolling out a little bit I'm moveing I'm moving I'm moving two and one I'm staying ahead of it I'm doing what we preach and teach so now we're just a little two in one here oh I know what happened the phone got me dead back swing the phone as soon as that phone started ringing I knew you called the number here made back swing you guys didn't see that's what we did dang dude I got that there early and that hook wow so this is a chance for me to go up no I got this back to even back to even now five yeah that was pretty good up there I'm you want to switch to go to the ion Pro for I'm over here and uh yeah sure oh I guess we're even yeah it's like yeah we're even right man this could take a while you did say this could and I'm like n it's going to take a while all right weaker ball here actually so even though we were going High flush I'm going to throw that exact same shot you know I say exact same shot I yes I don't really know why I decided to do that cuz Brad averages about 250 when this ball's in his hand and I average about 182 so for me the original ion it didn't fit my game um not all balls are you know fit your eye or what you want to see that's why you got to watch these reviews and just get a good idea and then sometimes you're wrong for me the low diff balls are a little uncontrollable for me down Lane so I never really know when to throw them to be honest that's why like this ball I didn't have a ton of success with tried it need to drill a couple more but any throwing a ton either hadn't thrown it a time but see it's it's I got the whole pocket with that ball I do think this ball is substantially cleaner for sure just just watching those two shots all right well I guess I'm going to move off my bone a cuz you know that was cool oh that's got to get lucky that was good that was good soon as you threw it I knew it all rightow now we go back to I mean you could tell just how much cleaner that ball is way cleaner typically you know you see the angle through the pins that's just a weaker weaker ball back to the big dog here yeah baby that was a terrible shot I don't even know what my hand did there did not do the right thing let me just even this one out real quick I got to move a little bit more I really need a miss and that was really good dang it ball just like snaps the corners out I know left right so now we're even we're even dang dude this is a practice session had the uh I had the lead man you had the lead up two is hard to get to and think about getting up [Music] four oh wow nice little arrow move left oh that's just a Yankee D so you guys didn't have my angle my view of that shot he moves an arrow left he throws it the ball reads as soon as you lay it down I'm thinking well that's either five or it's really good and it ended up being pretty good all right so I'm going to have to move left too here I mean I'm getting shim wrecked by these High Rev guys little hold wow T that was a big one all right we're moving two more keep shim wrecking let's see what this ball can do yes the first yes the first little balls way too strong for that angle 10 pin take back the lead see when Kyle ring TS like that I know I've got an advantage cuz I'm a little better than we no this is to get even I'm up 15 you're up no we're even no I'm up how I got to be up there's no way I [Music] 15 can this ever be eight no you know what's funny about that I missed it a little bit I did not catch that one at all when you miss it and it still sends a messenger pretty nice well this ball gives you really cool hits so if you're looking for that I say we throw one with each one and then call good call good okay we may finish this but I don't know if you want an hour long video let's do the uh ion first so I'm up right you're up yeah so you do the ion and then we'll finish with the uh original ion yeah the original one okay yeah the ion they're all ions well we know you're not beating me with this thing yeah that's pretty apparent dude that ball like the off hits you get with this ion is just all un blue okay little angular for you I got some work to do I really wanted to throw a good one there and I felt like I did I just that's a little bit of the difference between colonized just games in general is that's the low diff right there it's angular for you whereas for me it kind of just rolls out yeah so now I'm up one up one if I win this one strike here it's over I can't even beat you I strike here it's over yeah okay don't need to move wow was bad the half loaf that was bad the old Wonderbread so last time we tried to hook it we left that little weak 10 pin this year this uh shot we're going to give it the sauce I shouldn't be throwing this ball this far left but we're going to make it straight wow the sock the sideways the sock that's when you you know normally I'm throwing a gem and I'm like I shouldn't be hooking this much with a gem but I love it so let me just I could not imagine getting a ball like that to go that sideways all right one last one for the ship last one last one either you're up one tie we all tie cuz you know it's just two of match out nine good match so in conclusion what do we have here we have the new ion Max it's stronger it's for heavy oil you can definitely see especially comparing it to the other ion it's a lot stronger I guess if you like the other ion but you do it's your benchmark ball and you you know can't throw it on the fresh a whole lot just get ion Max I mean you can see it picks up way earlier than
