Ranking The BEST Two-Handed Bowling Balls | Tier List

welcome back to the channel guys we have another tier list here for you today and it has been a Year of Firsts we started live streaming League Night Live that's the first season we've ever done it and I bow League two-handed I'm going to be doing a tier list of storm root grip and 900 Global bowling balls two hands these are all the bowling balls I currently have two-handed so I hope you guys enjoy this I hope you find it insightful and if you guys have never been here for a tier list before let me break down the tier list so at the top of the list we have the nut category when we have the nut striking at will throw wherever we want that kind of ball reaction we call it the nuts the berries the nut category the best bowling balls that I like to throw and in category number two you see a little bowl of rice that is a staple in Asian Cuisine which means that the balls that go in this category are going to be Staples in the bag they're a step down from the quote unquote god tier bowling balls or nut bowling balls but still balls you got to bring to the tournament to have as much success as possible in the middle tier we have the thumbs up these are balls that are very good but it's not ball I look at and go I have to bring in my six ball Arsenal if I have room to bring eight 9 or 12 a ball in this category will sneak in there in category number four you see a little car there these are going to be bowling balls where if we can bring as many as possible we will put them in the car we'll bring them with us but they may not be the first balls in the building so those are going to go in the car we have a lot of good bowling balls and we have some bowling balls that don't match up as well but you just never know what you got when the balls that work normally don't work these are the balls that could work and then we have the eyeball category all the way to the bottom in this tier list I can't imagine I will be putting any of them there because I've thrown them all typically in a normal tier list those are balls that I have seen go down the L but I have not thrown myself this might be a dying breed of tiar because I throw pretty much every bowling ball that comes out from Storm Ro grip and 900 Global that's that those are the categories let's get started if you guys haven't seen any of the League videos be sure to check them out if you guys want to see with the first ball in the tier list we have the road I like the road a lot two-handed one-handed it was okay I'm going to put this in the thumbs up category drilled it 4x4x4 a lot of my bowling balls are laid out with four to 4 and 1/2 in pins which are typically pretty strong I want to read the lane pretty early because I am a fairly new two-hander I don't roll it very much my hand tends to flip around it pretty quick a lot of rotation so I'm using the stronger pins to help hedge against that but I'm sure as I start rolling it more and more I might start using weaker pins weaker means longer stronger means earlier you'll hear that a lot on a lot of the videos and a lot of the other highle bowling channels the road start start us off pretty good thumbs up Road hybrid High Road AI next we have the lightning blackout this one it's very different and US tour players are always asking for different and they deliver different I'm just not really sure when to use this ball I have an idea but I feel like the window of use is fairly small I also drilled this one with a longer pin and a weaker buffer for two-handers this season I learned layouts 2ls versus regular VLS that that last number is literally the only difference the lower the number for one handers the stronger you make it the higher the number for two-handers the stronger you make it so it's kind of just flip-flop for that third number but first two numbers are the same I'm putting this one in the car just because it's fairly Niche I'm bowling something that calls for different lightning blackout is that different I think it's a good ball it's super continuous compared to a lot of the other balls so if it picks up the right way it kind of does some nasty things when it hits the pins but that's just the thing I got to make sure I throw it at the right time so it picks up the right way so in the C goes doesn't quite make it in a six ball Arsenal for me but let me know in the comment section if you guys like the lightning blackout yeah you can't go wrong with black balls next on the list we're going to go for a two for one in the tier list they're actually going to go in different places the purple tropical surge I think is very good now I don't typically throw weaker core bowling balls like this but it's got a slightly stronger cover we have a solid and a pearl version I'm going to put the Pearl version in the car as well kind of gives me the same effect as the lightning blackout because these tropical surge cores have like very low diff and they have very high RG which means they're pretty weak their range of use not a whole lot lot for US tour players because we like to get our bowling balls to hook as early as possible to blend out the middle of the lane and to get into that heavy roll and that's what create strikes your average bowler looks for the wrong thing in my opinion they try to get big back end we create a lot of hook as high level players but we don't try to look for the hockey stick we're actually trying to get our ball to hook in the first 20 ft so that's why we surface layouts and stronger bowling balls to try to accomplish that but in league if you need hoey stick motion that might be good I don't like hockey stick motion ever it's just dangerous ball reaction tropical surge purple I think is really good only reason why it's not in the rice ball category is cuz it's kind of tough to put a ball like that in a six ball Arsenal and then kind of build around that the black tropical surge same effect as the lightning black out low diff really clean when it sees friction sideways if it doesn't see friction the dart don't like that next on the list we have the IQ 78u and as of right now I'm just a league bowler and I can throw the pitch plaque if I'm just bowling league so the 78u if I'm going to go bowl a tournament namely a PBA Regional or if I eventually take my my two-handed talents to the PBA tour we'll make it to the bag until a new yearthe ball comes around am I foreshadowing probably I mean there's always new urethane balls coming out So eventually there's one coming right staple category always got to have a urethane ball in the bag and this is the one I got right now so I think I'm going to drill another one cuz who knows when the next one's going to come a slightly different layout but that's about it all right moving on we have the attention star it is in the running for ball of the year not just for storm in my opinion but for All Brands this is a pretty good bowling ball gets a lot of use out on the tour cool thing that happened during that weekend so attention star nutball nut category B here now moving on we have you know what's really funny I actually just answered a questionnaire from Storm they were sending this out to their staffers and the only question was what was your favorite Storm bowling ball and this was the one so obviously it's going to go in the nut category I've had a lot of suc ESS with the alpha Crux it helped me make my first show on the cheetah in 2016 don't go watch that show because I didn't bull so good in the title match I'm just kidding you guys can go watch it if you want but that's the first the very very first show I made funny enough I threw urethane on the show and I ended up becoming that urethane guy fun fact I didn't throw urethane a single time until the show I don't know what that means but yeah I threw reactive on cheetah on short the whole time but the national bowling stadium is typically a lot tighter than most places because the lane surface is pretty new they don't have open Play there and they keep everything nice and tidy so yeah we're actually going there for Reno wish us luck PanAm championships Team USA let's go for gold moving on we have ion Pro another ball in the running for ball of the year and I think one two punch of the Year attention star ion Pro we're putting this one in the ne nut category I bowled my highest game without no tap with this ball in League I shot 276 it looked really good it's actually my favorite two-handed ball you're not going to hear that very often from me I tend to not try to have favorites because then I have balls I don't like and that's just not good mental it rolls sick I think you can afford to drill your ions A Little Bit Stronger because of that low diff it is called ion Pro because typically Pro balls are meant for control and lower diff pretty much equals control keeps the ball online longer than if it had more flare nut category ion Pro love it next we have UFO alert UFO alert another one of the best balls that we've ever made I don't want to talk about the comment section is going to blow this one up they're going to talk about but UFO alert I've had a lot of success with it it's been really good to me every single one of the bowling balls in the top tier in the nut category have been phenomenal to say the least I'm really sad I didn't Bowl better physically this league night but I'm going to have to break it out somewhere else I honestly don't know when I'm ever going to throw this ball again other than League cuz I can't throw it in PBA events I guess it's just going to have to be some local five gamer or something not category UFO alert next ball on the list harsh reality I shot my highest Series in League two hand with this ball 9655 I believe it was really really good for my bag I would put it in the staple category you got to have something like this and I have a hard time putting too many balls that are similar in the nut category so this one's going to go in the staple even though it was the highest scoring ball I think it's a little more one-dimensional the reality was pretty versatile the harsh reality is supposed to be the replacement and I think the orange in it makes it hook a little earlier just a slightly stronger vers version of the reality and yeah the colors do matter as much as you may not want to believe it or don't know moving on we have the breast cancer spare ball # spare the girls # strike the girls because we actually used it as a strike ball for a week in league and it it went okay honestly I think we shot 840 something for four games we averaged about 210 not the worst obviously not the best but when you're throwing plastic and it doesn't want to go into the roll phase when you rotate it it gets really hard to strike but obviously I'm putting this in the stable category cuz as a two-hander you got to have a spare ball actually we're moving this to the nut category because I think spare shooting is underrated everybody always asks what do I need to do to Bull get engineer gold things like that what do I need to do to bowl better and I usually ask how good your spare shooting there's always room to improve there that's it spares doesn't have to specifically be this spare ball cuz this one's kind of expensive but if you guys do want to pick one up it's for a good description below next we have the 900 Global aspect a lot of you may not know what this ball is but this ball has been really good for me I had one in my closet can't throw it on tour anymore because it exceeds the within 2year rule so as we go on it's going to be 2025 for the next season we can't throw balls that are younger than 2023 August 1st I think unfortunate that we couldn't throw this one-handed but I drilled one two-handed it's really smooth it's really good still it didn't look really good in the league because I think it was a little too smooth which tells me it's probably going to be really good on the harder stuff this one's coming with me everywhere when I bowl tournaments two-handed if and when no it's when when I start bowling tournaments two-handed this aspect is going with me during the season I won my first title that summmer swing this ball helped me win the summer swing I threw it out a bunch of the stops it's just an underrated ball I would say it's one of my favorites it's pretty up there for a ball that nobody ever threw so it's pretty cool and we have two more bowling balls this is going to be a tough one I've never had more balls in the nut category than in the staple category this might be the first and it's for league and it's for two hands I'm going to start with the summit Ascent really like this one supposed to be like the original Marvel slightly weaker cover still strong engine I've been throwing it a little bit one-handed and it's been very good so far I haven't thrown it in the field yet we will see very very soon though I didn't throw the first two Summits very much at all I think I'm going to be throwing this one a lot though so I'm going to put this one in the stable category the only reason why I'm not putting in the nut category one haven't thrown it enough in competition two it didn't wow me like all oral if you guys don't not oral orl o a r l don't flip the letters around let me tell you a little story about this ball I opened the box when I first got it I went ew I hate the colors I feel like this thing's going to be trash and then I put holes in it and then uh my T one the hole for the ring finger drilled out the PE a r l was dead in the center of the Circle spelling oral so that's what my Optimum idle Pearl is called oral and that one's going to go in the nut category because it just I love it when I see a ball and I don't think I'm going to like it and then it proves me wrong this ball proved me wrong I think this ball is going to be really good I don't know if it's going to be really good for a fact but I've thrown it one-handed I've thrown it two-handed it's one of my best two-handed balls if I had to build a bag two-handed it would start with the ion Pro and the optimum idle Pearl in terms of reactive balls obviously I got a the spare wall so that's three balls we got in the back already we build around that bada bing bada boom we go Inn tournaments we have six bowling balls in the nut tier four in The Rice Bowl category two in the thumbs up two in the car everything's good in the hood this is what we're rolling with for the tier list if you guys would do anything different with these bowling balls let me know some people might love the lightning blackout want to put that in the nut category some people may not like the ion pro at all and they'll put it in the car I have a
