hi it's Mitch from piic dogs.com here with your free pick in the Red Sox vs Blue Jays Major League Baseball matchup on Tuesday August 27th 20124 if you like all the free picks we do at pic dogs you'll love our premium picks our Best Bets you just go to piic dogs.com click on the premium picks tab I've also put a link directly below in the description if you make big bets $1,000 more per game you have like $10,000 bankroll looking for a long term plan then we have also have our VIP picks now if you're looking for that just text the number you see on the screen our regular premium picks we have daily we have you know single game we also have longterm there as well I bet mine every day but if you're looking for just long-term plans and you make really big bets that's the VIP but let's get to it got the Red Sox taking on the Blue Jays and the Red Sox you know certainly still in things in the uh Wild Card race in the American League but they are running at a time and I tell you the teams ahead of them certainly playing some solid baseball so as that margin moves in the loss column well as do the Red Sox Wild Card chances shrink the thing is that two of the teams ahead of him play in the American League Central and they will be squaring it off as the whole American League Central pretty much will be battling it out pretty big down the stretch and you know the Guardians have a pretty tough schedule as do the Royals um you know at when things the way things break down while the Guardians aren't a wild card team right now well a couple losses in their upcoming series and and they could be um the thing is as we look at this particular game the Red Sox go with Cooper Chiswell on the bump while the Blue Jays with yariel Rodriguez we've seen the ups and downs from Chiswell over the course of the Season he comes in with uh a he comes in with a 4.41 ER my screen where you know I look at Stats I don't have a script but I have all the stats in front of me kind of just bleeped out but he comes in with a 4.41 erra he's got eight home runs on the year he's allowed eight home runs allowed 22 walks and struck out 61 over 79 and 2/3 Innings of work but over his last three starts he's been busted up to the tune of a 9.35 erra been hit pretty hard in those games so uh you know we know Chiswell I think he's a better pitcher than that but the numbers certainly are the numbers and those six earned runs against the Orioles and three and a third well that is really what he's paying the price for when you look at those numbers Euro Rodriguez gets the ball here for the Blue Jays of course Young Cuban certainly has good stuff but you know what it is is that the deeper he goes into games the deeper trouble he gets into giving up five last time out against the Reds over just four and a third four prior to that and five against the Cubs so that blew up his erra to 4.33 he's given up eight home runs and uh he's allowed um he's allowed uh he's allowed 30 walks while striking out 33 over 60 in the third Innings of work it's a 2.93 though erra over his last three starts we look at um you know the way these teams are hitting the baseball coming into this game you know the Red Sox you know one of the better hitting teams at least you know when you look at the eye test right I watch a lot of games Red Sox just always seem to be swinging away and but against left-handed pitching they're hitting just 190 over their last 10 games but versus righties which they face here 266 while the Blue Jays 260 versus righties and 230 versus lefties Red Sox B pen has been terrible they started the season so strong but we knew that that was a mirage but still 5.87 erra over the last 10 games while the Jays check in at 3.48 Boston is 10 and4 in criswell's last 14 starts and you know I just like the way the Red Sox are barreling the ball and making solid contact still with a lot to play for here the Blue Jays might actually be the better team in Rodriguez I think over the first couple Innings might even be the better pitcher but I like the Red Sox I think they are the better team today and that's going to be my free pick of course while you're doing your picks putting your bets in use our free betting tools at sportschatplace.com 100% free and they'll help put you on the most favorable bets on the board today
