Dylan the second strip sack that you guys got the ball back and then were able to punch it in just what did you see on that play did you switch up anything from what was called just describe what went on there no um all week we've been preaching like this quarterback he's going to run so I knew like once the pocket like collapsed he was going to step up so soon as he step up he punch the ball out I've been trying to punch the ball out all game so soon I seen the opportunity I took it Dylan anything surpris you at all about how effective you were able to be so quickly tonight no I do I do it in practice practice how you play yep for either of yall what can you guys say about the way you guys were able to play in the Red Zone obviously forcing two turnovers uh I'm I'm sorry deepen ODU territory back near their own End Zone forcing those two big turnovers and then scoring what does that say about the way you guys are able to come out and create pressure right away yeah just uh put the ball down like we don't want them to get in the yards we don't want them to get any further than what they might be already so just stopping them that's what we're here to do curious dbo your assessment on the defense overall from a veteran perspective say that one more time I'm just curious your perspective and overall outlook on the defense tonight yeah obviously like uh I want us to be better I don't want them to score any points at all I keep saying that I'm going to continue to say that I don't want anything um I don't want them to get field goals touchdowns none of that so we'll continue to get better and we're going to keep improving Debo a lot of you guys very experienced whether it be the guys that came back from last year or some transfers that came in but two possessions at the end of the game trying to keep them off the scoreboard and be able to come back I mean what is that experience that you guys have as a unit along with some of the newcomers and Dylan make you feel confident that a team can have the ball try to drive at the end of the game and you guys can come out winning yep so when we was down 1916 we just we came in huddles as a defense and we just like we've been here before we've been here before and it's time to execute with this game is on us uh let's not depend on nobody else but us this defense the 11 men out here now we got to stop it just score if we can you know can you talk about the defense creating four turnovers tonight and then basically two that led to 14 points for your offense yes sir um 14 points let's get it to 28 every single time we get a turnover let's score off of it that's what we want so that's incredible um let's continue to do that and let's go Dylan when you had that first sack just what what was going so right for you to get that uh sack to start things off and then you know you and Kyle coming off the edge what does that do for your defense when you're able to have two guys like that yourself and him that can make plays like that um that does a lot that that gives the coaches like trust in the pass rush and make us um yeah the right car what were you seeing on your first sack there um when I got back there I a feel real but when like I had to snap back and like grab him I saw you in uh warm-ups and you were kind of like watching it looked like the old minion team run on the field I couldn't tell if you were like chirping at them all but like how excited were you to play this game like um I I was very excited um I've been waiting since since January since I got here cuz it's just been like I've been improving I know what I can do it's just I was waiting so I finally got to do it appreciate y'all
