finally here week one of the 2425 NFL season kicks off for the Chicago Bears this upcoming Sunday at home against the Tennessee Titans the captains are set the roster is honestly in my personal opinion one of the healthiest that it has been in over a decade entering week one and I have a very good feeling about the Chicago Bears team not only for this Sunday but for all season long hello everyone welcome back to this episode of just another year Chicago Bears my name is Dick Roy and as always thank you for tuning in I'm here to break down all of this upcoming Sunday's game for you and a have every single y to be this team is better people are on the Bears train people know this team is going to be good in fact 79% of betters have chosen the Bears to win this game this upcoming Sunday the over under is also 45 points I'm going to say the under for this one as I don't think it's going to be a very high-scoring game for the Tennessee Titans due to our defense I'll get to that more in a little bit but things are looking good for the Chicago Bears at the moment and if I were a betting man which I am I'm putting my money on the Bears the quick history between the Tennessee Titans and the Chicago Bears is that they have a seven- six record in Tennessee's favor winning the last two as well against the Chicago Bears the last time these two played was back in 2020 at Soldier Field where the Bears lost 24 to 17 thanks to some very interesting play calling by Matt naggie but those days are over because even though we do have a different team on the field now it's a lot better and it kind of reminds me of my favorite game between these two teams is back in 2012 when the Bears played the Tennessee Titans on the road winning 51-2 behind Charles tumman four Force fumbles and over six turnovers by the defense entirely that day I think that this team can do that again we have a super solid defense the Titans aren't going to be as good as people think they are they look okay on paper I'm telling you guys though we are going to win this game and the Bears are going to be very good and the Titans are going to go downhill very very quickly over the next season so I'm excited for this upcoming game so about these two teams starting with the Chicago Bears is that they have both had some pretty significant impacts on their rosters over the season the big loss that the Bears had was that we lost Justin Jones on the defensive line but quickly replaced him but we had tons of new players to this team that made it even better starting with Keenan Allen you know the future Hall of Famer six of the last seven years with Pro Bowl appearances that's another Target for this offense whether it would have been Justin field but it's Caleb Williams which works out entirely in our favor and I'm very excited to see him out there because it is a tough match up for any secondary along with that DeAndre Swift our new running back who leads the running back room is a dual threat out of the backfield and is going to be a big part of Caleb Williams game plan then you go over to romad Dun the rookie that we took out of number nine at number nine out of Washington who in his only really preseason action which was at Soldier Field against Cincinnati Bengals he had himself a day with over 60 yards receiving including that beautiful 45 yard reception from kale Williams we get to see the potential next 10 years of this offense Duo of dadun and kale obes out on the field and it starts now against the Tennessee Titans then you have Gerald Everett who we brought in to be the tight end two behind Cole KT who didn't get a lot of preseason play but he was calea Williams favorite Target during Camp which we saw a ton in highlights so he's going to be a factor in this game as well and then Kevin byard a former Tennessee Titan for the first seven years of his career now comes to the Chicago Bears from free agency it's his Redemption game they had to replace byard with someone which I'll go into in a minute but it's hard to replace a guy who's never missed a game in his career especially with how he plays tough and just a solid veteran to have that's why he's a two-time All Pro big addition for the Chicago Bears to increase our secondary power injuries entering this game according to Matt Eber flu there are none at the moment this is filmed on Tuesday so he's expecting all of his starters to go into the game playing that's why I said this is one of the healthiest rosters I've seen the Bears have in a long time but there are two guys that have been battling injuries the last couple of weeks that I would like to call out Keenan Allen had that discomfort in his foot hopefully nothing serious but he's been Limited in practice and then Ryan Bates who had a very high ankle sprain injury he's a key dep guy to this team so something to keep an eye on I know dep player you'd rather it happened to a dep player versus a starter but he was the number one guy to go up because he can play guard and Center something to keep in mind for this upcoming game going over to the Tennessee Titans real quick they added safety Jamal Adams to replace by someone that's always seems to be on the injury list good when healthy though on top of it they brought in defensive tackled trand sweat out of Texas with their pick number 38 and they have an entire new coaching staff at the moment so a lot of new factors here this team is going to get to know each other that's why the Bears have this to their advantage they really could not be very aggressive in free agency or in the draft as much as they wanted to be because they're kind of locked right now this is a short window for the Titans and I honestly don't think that they're going to be as good as people expect especially when you lose Derrick Henry they brought in Tony po too by the way good pickup but derck Henry you know King Henry you can't mess with that guy injury to look out for the only one that I've truly heard about is star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins who's battling a knee injury at the moment so something to keep in mind I'm not worried about him with our it down a little bit more for you guys just again understanding how talented this Bears team is and why you guys should be excited about this upcoming season are the quarterback between Caleb Williams and will Levis not even comparable Levis doesn't have a very good offensive line he doesn't have DeAndre Hopkins it's going to be a hard day for him as is but that Bears defense he's not going to do well against us guys I'm telling you he is going to get torn part by that front seven and on top of it that back defensive secondary they are not going to let anything get by him which is obviously a very good thing on top of that too the Chicago Bears just got better I mean you bring in Caleb Williams but our running back room also is solid DeAndre Swift khil Herbert ran Johnson versus Tony Pard and a few other second string guys I'm not worried about it at all they don't have an offensive line and the wide receiver room kind of like what I was talking about yes you have DeAndre Hopkins Calvin Ridley and Boyd that room three years ago would have definitely been paired evenly with our current room but DJ Moore Keenan Allen radun you know Tyler Scott there's no there's not even a comparison anymore we have a better wide receiver room on the field and on paper they just look good on paper go to over to the tight end room Gerald Everett Cole K you're not gonna be able to stop that offensive lines are even at the moment because Tennessee does have a more established offensive line over the last couple of years but this offensive line did pretty darn good during the preseason zero sacks given up by the starters in only two quarterback pressures to kill Williams and over two sacks overall so good stuff there and then from a defensive line perspective I just want to call this out Justin Simmons is gonna get shut up I don't know if you guys remember but he was like I can't wait to talk smack to that rookie he's gonna have pain in Nails just pretty much anything that he could say to sound like he knew what he was talking about that he's not gonna get past anybody tein Jenkins is gonna be in this guy's face all day he's not gonna get a sack on Kale Williams and I'm looking forward to it so the Bears offense is going to rip up that Tennessee defense I'm not worried about Jamal Adams on top of it two we have a super probably top three defense it's going to be a good day for the Chicago Bears we have the edge in almost every single category so you just got to keep that in mind especially entering this Sunday so my score prediction I got the Bears winning this game 28-13 against Tennesse tits they're not going to be able to do much against them I think it's going to be a late touchdown by Tennessee because we're going to throw our second stringers out there but the Bears offense looks solid I think the defense is going to have a pick six or some sort of return to get Soldier Field absolutely rocking but expect a decent day from Kill Williams I'm thinking two touchdowns interception 250 plus passing yards I would absolutely take that especially for the rookies opening day but this defense is going to dominate I'm not worried about Tennessee it's going to be a lot of fun and I told you guys I was going with the under of when it set at 45 on DraftKings I think it's going to be that way but the Bears are going to dominate from a point
