you have 2 days of crying you have 2 days to design a look Tony is looking for an elegant monochromatic sexy gown that really showcases who she is the winner of this challenge will receive $2500 yes ma'am oh my god oh so dope there welcome back to gma3 the stakes are very high and who L's all new reality contest dress my tour designers from across the country are comp and challenges to be crowned the very best our next guest knows fashion she's walked the runways been photographed by celebrated photographers and Grace the covers of countless magazines and now she's hosting the competition please welcome supermodel Kate Upton Kate is great welcome K thank you for having me well we're thrilled to have you and this series it's kind of real because the people are designing with very short time frames for real performers in the way that it would happen in the real world yes yes we have a musical guest every single episode and that is part of the competition is they are designing for that musician who's going to be a guest judge on the panel for that episode so they get real life experience like they're collaborating with this musician who they've always wanted to work with and get their feedback and find out if you know that musician sees potential in them all right give us the te how competitive does it really get oh it's so competitive I mean anytime you have that talented of people with such different personalities and like in one room with that time period such a short time period to get something done you're always going to have drama and so it felt like every morning when I was walking in there was something else happening so it really does feel like they're out for blood yes well or just like in their own head you know like trying to make this Vision that they have this outfit they have the very best in such a short time frame their anxiety up they're they're fight or flight sometimes it came out and you know they're call it must be a different experience for you being on the other side of the runway or do you like me hold on to the stress of everyone else is it fun totally totally I'm absolutely panicked for them but it's it's um it's really fun because in this show they have this performance element to it so it's not models walking down a Runway we have laurian Gibson who's an amazing choreographer who's choreographing these dances and dancers are showing these outfits on the stage so this musician really sees it how they would wear this outfit and there's even you know back like background dancers I panicked I was like am I about to give something away you saw my eyes like but it has to hold up that's part of the design the function of it you don't these musicians don't want a wardrobe malfunction on set and there's reveal pieces and so it all has to work and there hug huge function aspect to it do you find yourself given advice or inspiration along the way yes yes I it's you know I'm judging as well so on the panel I'm giving advice I'm giving my thoughts and um but it's you know it's a big deal it's a it's their Vision they get to see their Vision come to life and so you want to help them you want them to succeed I'm so excited really fun show yeah thank you for being with us today and dress my tour perers July 23rd on Hulu
