WE COULD STRING TOGETHER 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS IN THE 90'S IN GRAND RAPIDS. IT DOES APPEAR THAT THERE'S A CHANCE OF SOME SEVERE STORMS HAPPENING ON TUESDAY AND ONCE WE THAT TO PUNCH THROUGH. IT LOOKS LIKE WE'LL GRADUALLY COOL THINGS OFF AS WE APPROACH NEXT WEEKEND, THERE'S THE VIEW IN GRAND RAPIDS RIGHT NOW WITH BRIGHT SUNNY SKIES TEMPERATURE DID TOUCH 90 DEGREES EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON. IT'S CURRENTLY SITUATED AT 88, BUT IT STILL FEELS LIKE 90 WHEN YOU FACTOR IN THE HUMIDITY. OUR DEW POINT AT 65 DEGREES SUNSET HAPPENING AT 08:27PM TONIGHT. HERE'S A LOOK AT OUR CURRENT TEMPERATURES. YOU CAN SEE A SPREAD OF 80'S 90'S ACROSS THE BOARD 90 DEGREES APPROACH. I 94 IN KALAMAZOO 91 IN BENTON HARBOR. IT'S 88 IN GREENVILLE AND 86 IN FREMONT. WE ALSO HAVE QUITE A BIT OF HUMIDITY OUT THERE. WE'VE SEEN A RETURN OF DEW POINTS INTO THE 60'S THIS AFTERNOON 67 IS WHERE CURRENTLY IN GREENVILLE 69 DEGREES IN BIG RAPIDS 65 IN GRAND RAPIDS AND 67 IN BENTON HARBOR. WE DO HAVE A LIGHT BREEZE PRESENT. THAT IS FROM THE SOUTH. IT'S BETWEEN 5.10 MILES PER HOUR. USHERING IN MORE HEAT AS WE GO THROUGH THE COMING DAYS. YOU CAN SEE THAT THE HEAT INDEX IS LIKELY TO PEAK IN THE TRIPLE DIGITS ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND THEN WE'LL START TO HAVE SOME COOLER AIR SLIDING BEHIND THAT DISTURBANCE. WE HAVE HIGH PRESSURE WHICH IS CIRCULATING OVER THE NATION'S MIDSECTION RIGHT NOW. AND WITH THAT BIG DOME OF HEAT. THAT'S ALSO SCOURING OUT A LOT OF THE CLOUD COVER SHOWERS AND STORMS IS TO HAVE SOME RAIN THAT EXTENDS FROM NEW MEXICO UP THROUGH WYOMING, RIDING ALONG THE EDGE OF THE HEAT DOME THERE. AND AS WE GET TO TUESDAY OF THIS WEEK. IT LOOKS LIKE THAT WILL CRACK TO AN EXTENT AT LEAST LOCALLY AND WE'LL HAVE SOME SHOWERS AND STORMS RIGHT ALONG THE EDGE THAT HEAT. LET'S GET A LOOK AT FUTURECAST THAT SHOWS THAT THINGS WILL STAY PRETTY QUIET OUT THERE TONIGHT. MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES ARE FAVORED. YOU CAN SEE JUST A COUPLE OF SPRINKLES TRYING TO TRAVEL OUR WAY AS WE MOVE INTO THE MORNING HOURS OF MONDAY. THOSE ARE GOING TO BE VERY HIT AND MISS MOST WILL STAY DRY AS WE CONTINUE FORWARD THROUGH TOMORROW. HERE'S A PAUSE. THE CLOCK IT TUESDAY AT 10:00AM. YOU CAN SEE SOME STORMS STREAKING FROM OUR NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST AND IT DOES LOOK LIKE THOSE COULD PRESENT A CHANCE OF SOME DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AS WE GO THROUGH THE MID-MORNING HOURS AND ONCE TIME HERE ON TUESDAY, AS THOSE CONTINUE TO STREET FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST AGAIN ALONG THE LEADING EDGE OF THOSE STORMS THAT COULD HAVE SOME POWERFUL WIND GUSTS. SO DEFINITELY SOMETHING THAT WILL KEEP AN EYE ON AS WE GET TO TUESDAY. THAT'S ALSO WE HAVE A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER INSIDE OF THE YELLOW REGION ON YOUR SCREEN. BASICALLY ALL OF LOWER MICHIGAN HAS ENCOMPASSED WITHIN THAT CHANCE AS WE MOVE PAST THAT IT WILL STILL STAY A LITTLE BIT UNSETTLED AS WE APPROACH THE WEEKEND WITH AN OCCASIONAL SHOWER OR STORM POPPING UP AS WE HAVE SOME MORE COOLER AIR BEGIN TO INFILTRATE WEST MICHIGAN.
