Aral knew they in game didn't I think every time arsal come here they know that they're in a game I think every game we played against in the past three or four have been pretty similar uh the games we won they could easily have have won as well so I think we got to take this one in the chin could have went ear way but Arsenal are a top team they keep going they bring quality Off the Bench and and get the goals on another day we could have won um but arsenal were set up well we were set up well it was a good battle and one we' come on the wrong side the performance overall were you pleased with it I I definitely we've certainly started this season better than we did last season uh which is encouraging so as much as the results disappointing uh the season the start of the season is much better than last season and hopefully we can V on that as well as L yeah I mean people who look at ol but he's you know every strike he goes through you know a BP don't know everything he h last season went in he's just going to he class class telling he's he's getting up apologize for I don't want to hear anyone or see anyone criticizing him he's been absolutely first class for for three or four seasons since he's been here uh the what rate the work ethic he gives to the team the out ball the defensive work not just his goals but then the goals over the last few seasons he's given us brght moments uh and he'll continue to give us those so today it just wasn't his day he's absolutely gutted he's he's very very hard on himself but uh we'll rally around them he'll be back next week and I'm sure he score next week can have a word about the monster mov Rogers I mean he really absolutely came to the party today didn't he he had people had like Thomas party Bing off sometime I mean I it's a it's a scary sight to be honest really excited to to see him progress really good guy uh loves football he's only going to improve the scary thing is how young he is how strong and powerful he is and if he keeps playing like that I'm sure he'll have an absolute stale of season I know the England manager was there and and I'm sure to be back to watch him there to be optimistic about John in these first two games really like you say last season we lost the first one 5-1 so exactly and uh and then we lost I think was the next away one at Liverpool which we a heavy defeat so but there's obvious frustration we could we could have went and W won the game the chances are a lot clearer than than what you normally get in a game uh but you take it on the chin we kind of let ourselves dwell on it h we've got an important game next week it's a strange little period before a national Break um we still to hit our full rhythm in uh top form but there there's many positive signs to to look forward well to to make everyone look forward to the games coming up John can I ask you about Rogers as well when he's driving forward the ball that for this team the way you're set up that must be perfect for Ole and others to make run off it's just the hard thing is keeping up with him uh so when you try to get in the box when he when he's on a run it's difficult but you don't need to be strong to play for us just be strong when your Jews 50/50s and if he can get turned if I can get turned it's only a benefit so the way he was doing that today I'm sure teams will wonder they I go and pick him up or they wait and let him come to so it's a good problem for for us to to cause two teams uh and hopefully it keeps playing like that and keeps F and that second goal um Emmy won't let that bother him joh no it's one of those Emmy made an absolute world class sa for s in the first half um if two people in the team um deserve Credit in the over the past few seasons at semi and O So there' been no to criticize either of them and we win as a team and lose as a team hi there I'm Rebecca Lo Studio host of NBC's coverage of the Premier League don't forget to hit subscribe to watch more videos all season long and if you want even more Premier League content from original series to live matches head over to Peacock
