glad that you decided to be my guest today I'm happy to be here I've been looking forward to it oh my gosh when I met you just I mean we haven't known each other all that long but it was like it was like I felt like you were my old friend I was like if you lived close I know we' be having coffee all the time to talk about everything that's going on absolutely you were like let's be friends yeah know exactly yeah that's sort of how I am anyway before we get started on our questions um I I know that this is going to be airing after a big shift happens in your life but I want to say this you you right now as we're talking you're Shaya Rattler but you're about to become Shaya Davis oh my gosh I just want to say publicly congratulations on your very soon Tobe wedding how exciting is that thank you and I could not have written this story better if I wrote it myself he is the most amazing man of God that I've ever met in my entire life well he must be because he sure got he sure got a good catch well thank you and you know I know that like for even for my own life when we are strong leaders then we're looking for a strong leader because I need someone who is my match in in strength of personality and all of that and uh so my husband has been like that for me for all of these years so I'm sure that he's an amazing leader he's my muchness it's so good that's so good well all right so I know that you are a woman with muchness because you can even tell from all the reading of your bio you have done so many things and you have accomplished so much for the kingdom but I want to hear personally um so what is muchness mean to you when I think about muchness and I had to think about it because it was a New Concept for me but when I think about muchness especially as it applies in my own life in the lives of the women leaders that I work with I think I Define it as not just being clear on what it is that God calls you to do but Having the courage to pursue it yeah especially you know I was telling someone the other day sometimes we're doing things in the face of invisible result results like we're getting results that we don't necessarily see yet and if you're not real clear that what you're doing is what God called you to do it's very easy to get up and it take give up and it takes a tremendous amount of courage in order to continue to pursue what it is that God God is calling you to do and so I think that that's like the muchness that I have learned how to embrace yeah I totally agree I think that it has a lot to do with with courage and uh and I think that just answering a call of God takes so much courage doesn't it it's like I me I remember when I very first got called I was like God how can this possibly be I think I walked around like that for like three weeks like how how can this possibly be and I wasn't sure um that I had it in me to do it but that's the point right because it's not I mean we don't not in and of ourselves right right yeah I am at the time that I got called to Ministry I was like does he know how much I cuss and drink brown liquor right surely he can't be talking about me he's like yeah I'm GNA refine all that out of you but and and he does you know what I mean but yeah I know you look at your life you suddenly look at your life very differently you know and you become very aware of your human limitations yeah and just think God lord you know yeah I was like are you sure you got the right girl here correct and that's when I try to because I think many of us don't think we're ready and we find ourselves in this Perpetual state of like getting ready to get ready and I always refer those people to Ephesians 2 And1 because we hear a lot about Ephesians 3 and 20 but Ephesians 2 and10 it talks about the Masterpiece that we are that God created before all of these great things that he knew that he was gonna have us do and so for everybody who like doesn't think they have enough muchness or don't think they're ready to like walk out what it is that God is calling them to do meditate on Ephesians 2 and10 until you get it so good yeah that's so good so tell me how did you find your muchness you know because we know now that you what you think muchness is all about but how did you find that to pursue all the things that you've been pursuing all these years it had to be around the time that I was really introduced to the concept of the kingdom in the Kingdom mandate that is on our lives and so Kim when we think about in Genesis 1:26 the Lord basically tells us what the purpose for mankind is and why he put us in the earth and you know often times when people people talk about our identity what they're really talking about is our calling and assignment but what the God what God was talking about in Genesis 1:26 he said I'm going to make man in my image and my likeness so that you may have dominion and I don't think we recognize how important that Dominion piece is right like we were given the power and authority to have dominion over everything in the world other than other humans and once I really sinked my teeth into that I was then able to do the Bible says we should go from glory to glory I was able to stop going from struggle to struggle and challenge to challenge and truly be able to go from glory to glory and the reason why this Kingdom mandate is so important that we understand it especially as women is because since we don't always know who we are or why we're here the very environment that we were created to dominate ends up dominating us and I suck my teeth into that Hook Line and Sinker and I realize like not just who I am in God because I can know who I am in God but if I don't realize the authority right that comes with that identity there will be a lot of things that I won't embark on there'll be a lot of things that I will shy away from and you want to talk about muchness like you you can't stop me now that I have fully Embrace like so God basically made me just like him and equipped to do all of the things that he can do oh yeah let's go let's go this is why I like you so much this is why I was like let's be friends yes absolutely okay yeah I we could get off on a long tangent on that but it's it's very it's so true that recognizing your Authority makes a big huge difference you know because you no longer feel quite so I mean I guess there are still times for me when I feel small you know and um but then and God will show up big you know um but there are other times when God will just say to me um recently he just said to me I was I was on my way to Brazil and he said now Kimmy he always calls me Kimmy Kimmy I want you to remember who you are that's right and I want you to go for it and I was like oh oh yeah okay so then you sort of square your shoulders right and you take a deep breath and you go oh yeah okay I'm o I'm owning this I'm I'm owning it right now so good so I know too that as females ministers not just because we're girls but every Minister I think everyone who recognizes their call on our life on on your life whether it's and really whether it's to Ministry or business or any of these things but as soon as you begin to uh walk in your calling and Advance the kingdom and answer this call of God you know that we go through stuff you know and um it's not easy and usually people I think uh when they see us they hear us whatever they don't realize the cost that we actually pay to walk in the call right it comes with a cost the rewards are glorious and I wouldn't I wouldn't not do it because of the cost yet uh there is a cost and sometimes we get battered around and there's a whole lot of warfare there's just a whole lot of warfare so my last question is for you have you ever lost your muchness and if you did um how did you get it back you know we're not exempt from the enemy trying to cause us to doubt the truth just like he did with Eve you know if anything he's going to press into to us or lean in to use today's culture he's going to lean in on us even more to cause us to doubt just like he did with Eve because we do have such big responsibilities that the Lord has asked us to do but I fortunately haven't lost it because I feel like when you in when you have that revelation of your identity and your Authority you shouldn't be able to lose it now that doesn't mean that there aren't times like you said that I question like okay Lord like back in September of last year when the Lord said I want you to raise up an army of women that's going to recover and restore what's out of place well that sure feels big for one person you know and so there's it's not to say that there's never a time that we question or that there's never a time that for a moment that we're like but I believe that when you fully embrace the revelation of who we are and why we're here and the fact that we are qualified for what it is that he called us to do you shouldn't be able to lose it and I remember when I was growing up as a child Kim you and I are both old enough to remember the ETA sketch you know yeah those thoughts come in my mind I may not control them coming in but I can control if they stay and so when those thoughts come in my mind I act like a eter sketch I'm like nope nope and then I immediately get back to like what God said to you Kimmy I need you to remember who you are and how I made you and what I equipped you with and I wouldn't have given this assignment to you if I didn't feel like you were capable so now quit whining at least that's what he tells me quit whining and let's go my husband will say you want you want some cheese with that wine yes I do I love that well sha we're coming to the end of our time and I I just I love talking to you we we have to do this more often for sure um but I would love for you to pray for our the people who are listening and um because I think men and women uh need to find their muchness but would you pray over our listeners and however you feel led and and if you hear something from the Holy Spirit you just feel comfortable to to um give it and uh so anyway go right ahead so gracious father we thank you for this time today um I ask that something that we have said has been eye opening to your listeners God and let us not be guilty of making an idol out of Confirmation and Clarity for many of us are real clear on what it is that you called us to do but like we said during today's episode what we really need is more courage because I can guarantee you that Esther didn't have Clarity when she went before the king that could cut her head off I guarantee you that Noah didn't have Clarity when he was has to build an ark and he didn't even know what rain was so Lord even if our steps are laced with uncertainty even if we don't 100% know what it is that you are asking us to do will you give us the courage to take a step will you give us the courage to ask for help when we when we feel like we just want to be martyrs and figure it out and for somebody that's listening right now God I feel like they need to give themselves permission to let go of a season that was expired because sometimes you ask us to let go of trash but other times you ask us to let go of treasures so again God give us the courage to let go of even a good thing in search of the next God thing and God I am just grateful that you use Kim and I in the way that you do I'm excited to see what you will create in the lives of all of your listeners and we will be careful to give you all the praise and all the glory that is due your name and we pray this prayer in your son's magnificent name in Jesus name amen and father I just want to pray a blessing over Shaina right now as she moves forward Lord God on to a a glorious wedding day and I'm asking Lord Jesus that even as they stand together at the altar Lord God that your presence would fall down upon them Lord God and that she would feel the tangible presence and blessing of the Holy Spirit Lord God as they say their vows Lord God I'm asking Lord God that you would bless them as they go forward that you would give them every resource that they need for the dreams Lord God that they're going to dream Lord God for moving your kingdom forward I ask Lord Jesus that the joy that she experiences that she has waited so long for Lord God and has been so uh so uh patient Lord God to wait for the man that you would send her Lord Jesus that she would feel the greatest joy she's ever felt as she feels Lord God this Union come to pass and so we Bless The Covenant that you are creating Lord God we bless her as Shaya Davis Lord Jesus we bless her husband Lord God and we bless this new family that is coming to pass in Jesus mighty name amen
