Wildfires Scorch Southern California Hillsides As A 4.7 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Malibu!!!

hello there Brothers and Sisters in Christ God bless each and every single one of you at is Hunter's Point here with another video I do hope and pray that each of you all watching me right now are having a good Thursday afternoon so far wherever you all are at I do hope and pray that each of you are all doing well I know it's been a little bit since I've been on here I've been adjusting to being back in Bible College and it's been a really rewarding experience for me to be able to you know get myself closer to my ultimate goal right and that ultimate goal is to one day be a pastor I believe that is what the Lord's called me to do and I know that it will happen when he deems it as time right it's all in the Lord's perfect timing but I've been in Bible College uh for just over a year and a half had a little bit of a break here lately but I just got started back at bible college yesterday and been digging back into the word and it's been a very rewarding experience you i' I've been going through some things as I know all of us doe from time to time it's been it's been a rough time for me you know I'm going to kind of open up with you all a bit it's been a challenging time from a mental and emotional perspective there's been a lot of work drama going on you know people involving me in things I don't want to be involved in uh just a lot of negativity I've had to put up with primarily at my place of work but I've been trying to get myself out of this rut that I've been in for the last few weeks and I figured you know what the best way to get out of that was to use the fact that I'm starting back up at bible college as just all that much more of a reason to dig back into the word uh and really just stand you know stand firm in my faith and just start handing things over to the Lord and that's kind of the point that I've reached you know clearly trying to handle things on my own doesn't work and I I know I know that's something that likely all of you have experienced you know when you're trying to just get everything handled and taken care of on your own like oh I got this i got this sometimes we don't got this you know what I mean and a lot of times by just simply handing things over to the Lord you'll notice things get taken care of a lot quicker and a lot more effic efficiently that way and I think when it comes to all the work drama that I've had to put up with lately I think just handing everything over to the Lord and standing firm in my faith uh I think I'm going to start to really get out of that rut that I've been in so I did not necessarily plan on giving you all a bit of a Life Update but I could use your prayers so any sort of encouraging comments or prayers that you could offer me I would be super grateful for that all right so I'm going to go ahead and get into the update this is your two article world news update for the 12th of September 2024 again both articles are off of endtimeheadlines.org and will be linked in the description box below as per the usual I wanted the first article to discuss wildfires that are ongoing in Southern California and then the second article will go over a swarm of earthquakes that have taken place also in California so this will be a natural disasters update let's go ahead and start with the first article wildfires have scorched the Southern California hillsides torching homes and injuring several people and of course that is a very haunting image that perfectly encapsulates everything that is going on right now relating to natural disasters in Southern California homes vehicles and Stables burned as three major wildfires in Southern California grew dramatic ly and became more aggressive but firefighters were hoping to get some relief on Wednesday with cooler weather more than a dozen people mostly firefighters unfortunately were injured as a result of battling this Blaze officials said in Orange County the airport fired charred cars and left a wake of rubble and Ash while Flames pushed East and over the mountains into neighboring Riverside County eight fire firefighters and two residents have been injured in the blaze which burned nearly 35 square miles by early Wednesday according to the fire captain sha Duran of Orange County he said cooler overnight temperatures provided some rest bite after a heat wave plagued the region for days as the blaze was ongoing in El cariso Riverside County community of 250 people an Associated Press photographers saw at least 10 homes and several cars engulfed in flames the fire reached the community along 74 highway Tuesday afternoon when some residents scrambled to evacuate on the road clogged with fire trucks and firefighters and the sky turned dark and Smoky and began raining Ash in the region in the Mountain community of Wrightwood scorched trees burned bright orange behind homes as a authorities implored residents to evacuate ahead of the exploding bridge fire the fire east of Los Angeles grew tenfold in a day burning 75 square miles by early Wednesday to become the largest of three major wildfires endangering tens of thousands of homes and other structures across the region and this is all primarily in SoCal quote it was very I would say hell like according to Alex Luna a 20-year-old missionary who heeded calls to evacuate the community of 4500 in San Bernardino County said late Tuesday quote Ash was falling from the skyline it was as if it was snowing the fire sprung to life during a triple digit heat wave that finally broke Wednesday other major fires were burning across the West including in Idaho Oregon and Nevada where about 20 ,000 people had to flee an ongoing Blaze outside of Reno in Northern California a fire that started Sunday burned at least 30 homes and commercial buildings and destroyed at least 40 vehicles in Clear Lake City that is 110 miles north of San Francisco California is only now heading into the teeth of the wildf fire season but as already seen nearly three times as much acreage burn than that that occurred in all of 2023 evacuation orders were expanded Tuesday night as the fires grew and included parts of the popular ski Town Big Bear some 65,66 homes and buildings were under Threat by the line fire including those under mandatory evacuation orders and those under evacuation warnings nearly double the number from the previous day three firefighters were injured in connection with the blaze authori said the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department announced Tuesday that a Norco man suspected of starting the line fire on September the 5th in Highland had been arrested and charged with arson that's very unfortunate very unfortunate that someone would do that it's bad enough when it is just natural right when it's just simply a part of whatever Earthly conditions are going on but it's just that much more worse when someone goes out of their way to start that fire on purpose it's so so wicked just the times that we're living in he was held in Lee of $80,000 bail residents along the southern edge of Big Bear Lake were told to leave the area which is a popular destination for Anglers bikers and hikers as of late Tuesday the blaze had charred more than 54 square miles of grass and brush with only 14% containment according to calire it blanketed the area with a thick cloud of dark smoke the fire impacted key radio towers including communication channels for those responding to the fire the cooler weather could temper fire activity towards the end of the week calfire said in an update that they published Public Safety power shutoffs were anticipated in parts of the Big Bear and Bear Valley areas an accurate errror and safety concerns prompted several area districts to close schools through the end of the week and this is still very much an ongoing situation in Southern California as local officials are working as hard as they can to try to contain these fires and yes cooler temperatures will for sure help uh but ultimately until they're able to get a handle on these fires they're going to continue raging and putting more people and property in danger so please pray for the people in Southern California who are dealing with these wildfires as well as those who were dealing with fire in Northern California and Nevada so now for the second article we're also going to be centering our attention on Southern California as Malibu has been shaken by a magnitude 4.7 earthquake as well as accompanying aftershocks as Southern California has broken the record for most magnitude four and above earthquakes in a single year I think that picture perfectly describes the activity that has been seen in Southern California a magnitude 4.7 earthquake hit Malibu in nearby communities at 7:28 local time for them this morning according to the US Geological Survey and what they published in a statement that pretty much immediately accompanied the initial Quake a 2.8 magnitude Aftershock arrived just minutes later followed by four more aftershocks ranging from magnitudes 2.7 to 3.5 in the next hour plus the first quake originally reported as 5.1 but was later downgraded to 4.7 was centered 5 miles north of Malibu and 7 miles deep according to the USGS there have been no reports of any injuries or significant damage yet and I was even browsing Twitter before starting this recording and I still haven't seen anything really that would lead me to believe that there was a lot of significant widespread damage or anything like that so it sounds like they may have uh gotten on the fortunate end of things in a televised Q&A just after the tblr USGS seismologist Lucy Jones said quote we have had more than the average number of magnitude 4 Quakes in Southern California this year the average being about eight magnitude 4 sequences that being sequences of at least one magnitude 4 so far we've had 14 in Southern California the largest previous year was 13 notice these numbers are small however she added it's not yet statistically significant but I would say it's still definitely worth keeping an eye on indeed there has been an unusually large number of earthquakes in Southern California in recent weeks a magnitude 4.4 Quake centered near Pasadena rocked the region on August 12th days after a magnitude 5.2 hit Bakerfield and was felt all throughout Los Angeles County last week a series of small Tremors including a magnitude 3 .9 struck near Ontario about 35 miles east of downtown LA Jones added during her Q&A today quote it is striking that some of the strongest shaking not surprisingly but it's right there on the west side of Los Angeles unquote she said it was felt as far south as Irvine nearly 65 miles south of the Tony Beach Community of Malibu as always there is a fight % chance of today's Quake being a fores shock to a bigger one quote in Southern California every one of us is within five miles of an active fault Jones reminded so not only when it comes to natural disasters not only is Southern California having to deal with ongoing wildfires at least one of which being a fire that was purposely started by an arsonist but now you have the region dealing with a swarm of magnitude 4 plus earthquakes and you know that this is just foreshadowing what will likely eventually be a much much bigger and more devastating earthquake in the future what we're seeing I fully believe it's all serving as precursors to much bigger events in the future so it definitely warrants our attention and our prayers for those who have already been affected by earthquakes or wildfires as well as those who could potentially be affected in the future all right so that will conclude my natural disasters world news update for September the 12th I'm going to go ahead and pull up es sword which is my online digital bible program we're going to go ahead and get that pulled up and we're going to go to the book of 1 Corinthians chap 15 veres 1-4 this is the saving gospel message this is how you were saved if you believe this in your heart alone it says more over Brethren I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you which also ye have received and wherein you stand by which also ye are saved if he keep in memory what I preached unto you unless ye have believed in vain for I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures that is the gospel the good news 1 Corinthians 15 1:4 that right there is how you were saved if you believe that in your heart alone right that is why it's called the gospel it's because we live in a day and age especially now where there are so many people out there perpetrating false gospels it's a shame but that is the world that we find ourselves living in today it's been like that since the beginning man there there's always been people who have tried to you know Whittle their way in and deceive others but Paul's very clear in what I just read to you 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 that this is the gospel there is no other gospel by which any person can be saved only this gospel that Christ died for our sins was buried and rose again the third day to complete that payment Jesus did that to pay for our sins he did it for us so that we didn't have to that is the gospel message you see Jesus Christ died on the cross shedding his precious purifying blood for the remission of all mankind sins that's past present and future sins he was buried in the tomb three days proving that he was dead and he rose again the third day according to the scriptures for our justification and therefore our Salvation Jesus did it all he paid for our sins so that we would not have to spend an eternity separated from him that right there is love my friend that is love I want to go to the Book of John chapter 3 verses 16- 18 as I believe they tie in beautifully with the saving gospel message I'm going to go ahead and read it now it says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life for God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved he that believeth on him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God Jesus did it all I want that to be the main point that I hammer home this afternoon Jesus did it all there is nothing that anyone can do apart from Faith to be saved it is is only by faith that a person is saved sealed and Sanctified with that Holy Spirit of Promise unto the day of redemption that is how they receive the free gift of Salvation as well as the gift that is eternal security I call that the gift that keeps on giving it is by faith alone in Christ alone that that is obtained once and for all right past present and future all sins were covered and washed clean by the blood of the lamb so that all those who believe in him will not perish but have everlasting life that is of of course referring to life from a spiritual perspective right because all of us as humans are appointed to die once of course the Rapture would be an obvious exception to the generation that finds themselves living during that time but largely speaking all humans in the flesh are appointed to die once but for those who do not believe in Christ alone whether they're believing in a mixture of their own works on top of Faith or they're trusting solely in their own Works those who do not trust solely In Christ Alone will find themselves eternally tormented and you often hear that referred to as effectively spiritual death right the second death but for all those who Trust In Christ Alone you're raptured right so if you're alive and remaining then you don't have to die and then those who do end up passing on before that time they'll be resurrected it's a beautiful thing what we're promised as Believers in the Lord but Jesus Paid all of our penalties so that we did not have to and all you have to do is believe in him really is that simple I'm going to finish here by reading Ephesians 2:8-9 two of my all-time favorite verses throughout all of scripture and they say for by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast we know that Grace by definition is getting what we don't deserve which God has offered to us as the free gift of Salvation and we accept and receive that free gift once and for all past present and future by faith alone in the finished Redemptive work of Jesus Christ Alone Jesus did it all yeah I've really enjoyed this being able to come back on here give you all a comprehensive news update on some of the natural disasters that are unfolding but I really enjoyed the chance to just kind of be open and honest with you all just about some of the stuff that I've struggled with you know I think it's a good way to let everyone know who watches me that I'm just like you all you know I got my own problems I got my stuff that I go through this life isn't easy but you know what we were never told it would be easy you know and I think as Believers in the Lord I think life tends to be harder for us but you you know there's nothing that our God cannot handle and I want you all to know that I'm preaching to myself here just as much if not more than I am just saying this to you all like there's nothing that our God our Mighty God cannot handle and if you just hand your burdens and your struggles over to him I know it's easier said than done I know but man if you just hand it over and allow him to guide you through you work on it together you will be so much better off from a mental emotional spiritual perspective just handing your burdens over to the Lord because he has them and he has you all right that's where I'm going to leave you all off at for this video I will see you all in the next video message
