uh so here's the latest on L Reit and the Kansas City Chiefs uh the Chiefs have made it official Lis re Amit won't be part of their 53 man roster for the upcoming NFL season it was a lot of buzz on Tuesday about whether or not the Welsh star would make the final Squad especially with the Chiefs gunning for their third straight Super Bowl title unfortunately it turns out he didn't make the cut uh but before we get into the details hit the Subscribe button like this video and leave your thoughts in the comments thank you for your support ream it Mis training recently due to a back injury and now we know his fate uh it's been confirmed that the 23-year-old won't be on the main roster this move was kind of expected considering the huge leap he made earlier this year by switching to a new sport it was always going to be a challenge for him to secure a spot especially in such a competitive team Tom respected NFL report Jordan Schultz was the first to break the news that re zamit had been released and then overnight the Chiefs put out an official statement saying that he been placed on the waved list this means other teams can sign him if they want to but it's expected that he'll stick around with the Kansas City Chiefs likely joining their practice squad the announcement about his spot on the practice squad is expected later this week just so you know each NFL team can have up to 17 players on their practice squad these players are eligible to be moved up to the main roster at any point during the season so there's still a chance we could see ream it on the field later on ream it signed a three-year deal with the Chiefs so he's definitely in it for the long hall now it's just a waiting game to see what happens next the Chiefs kick off their season in week one against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday September 5th so all eyes will be on how the team shapes up without him on the main roster
