did you know that in NBA 2k 25 you have the ability to take a bronze badge and make it a Hof badge immediately that is just one of the 25 new things that NBA 2K has added to the game this year and let me tell you some of these will blow your mind every season 2K is going to be giving you a Max plus one badge through the season pass and what this does is it allows you to take a badge one level Beyond its Max so let's say that you have a player that Max is out at gold posterizer with this Max plus one for the entire season you have the ability to take that and make it Hall of Fame this allows for much more creativity in your builds and will make some of your builds extremely op 2K also added a feature called cat briggers and what cat Breakers do is it allows you to take your attributes and add on to them okay so hear me out when you're making a build let's say you put your three-pointer to an 87 but you could have put it to a 92 and you just didn't use your points on it with C Breakers you were able to take those points or your C Breakers and add it onto your build so if you used five of your cat Breakers you could essentially Max your three out from an 87 to a92 you get 15 total cat Breakers so Choose Wisely and make sure that you keep that in mind when you're making your builds 2K added new jump shot meters to NBA 2K 25 and if you'll notice there is now no longer a green window that's visible to your eye a lot of people did not understand this at first but the reason that they're doing this is in order to combat cheating Zen and tit end in any cheating device pick up on the green window and that's how players are able to cheat in removing the green window it is the easiest way for 2K to combat this problem and I'm excited to see how it works the dunk meter has has also been completely reworked and now requires much more skills see in the previous 2K you had a huge green window and you knew what it was a good take versus a bad take the same jump shot meter logic is now applied to stick dunks and you don't know if it's a good take or not and this is going to make skill dunks a lot more challenging and actually add a bit of a skill Gap to it I'm all for contact dunks and I'm all for upping the skill Gap so let's see how it plays out in my team there is a new 3v3 mode where you are able to play with one of your my team cards in 3v3 park and the park is actually Loc located in the once beloved Rivet City so if you are somebody that enjoys my team but just wants to use an individual card you can go team up with your friends and go play other teams of three in 3v3 park also in regards to my team the auction house is returning and this is a huge W for my team players you guys probably remember the rebirth system from NBA 2K 24 but they have completely changed it now when you get a build to 99 overall every single build you make from that point on has the ability to be upgraded to a 99 overall this is a huge W for those of you guys who like to make multiple builds like myself because we now no longer have to grind out our overall we could just go straight to 99 this is a major W for Park players 2K actually added a jersey swap feature to the game so basically in my career whenever you play against star studded opponents like Jaylen Brunson and Victor wanyama after the game you can swap jerseys with them which is a cool feature alone but guess what you can actually wear these jerseys and hang them up in your my court which I didn't even mention yet that the my courts are returning to NBA 2K 25 you are now able to test out your animations jump shots and everything you want to do in the my court just like we were able to in the past and in fact 2K added this feature where you are able to test your jump shots on the actual difficulty of the game mode that you want to play so in the my court you can test the difficulty of proam shooting of 3v3 of 2v2 you have the ability to test what your jump shot is like in any of these game modes this is a major W another new feature that 2K 25 has is the contest system the contest system has completely changed for NBA 2k2 it is now no longer based on the numbers in 2K 24 you would get a 24% contest or a 65 or a 13 now it is broken up into four different coverages 2K added 75 new takeovers for you to choose from in my player and my favorite one is looking like barbecue chicken because it just sounds absolutely crazy just wait till I'm on my 7 fo3 post score and pop this badge on you alongside with the new takeovers they also change the way you get takeover there are now five different levels of takeover and in each level your attributes go up a different amount the amount that the attributes go up is based on your takeover so for some takeovers you will only get plus two or plus three but there's takeovers out there that you can go up plus 12 just by getting to level three so you have to choose your takeover very wisely this year in 2K 25 Hall of Fame is actually not the best badge tier anymore like it has been for years in fact they just added a new tier called Legend Badges and the craziest part about this is no NBA player gets Legend badges not even Stephen Curry when it comes to Limitless range so Legend badges are going to be absolutely op when it comes to park 2K 25 also has a ton of new badges including layup Mixmaster paint Prodigy physical finisher post Powerhouse mini Marksman Shifty shooter set shot specialist ankle assassin lightning launch strong handle versatile Visionary highflying denier on ball Menace and paint patroller with the addition of new badges 2K also got rid of a ton of the old badges which badges are you guys excited to use the most and which ones are you most sad to see go let me know in the comment section 2K has also added an entirely new dribble engine and guys I'm going to let you know right now usually when they say things like this I don't believe it but after watching the gameplay itself it is significantly different animations are much more smooth and the gameplay looks way more realistic than previous 2ks Pro play has over 9,000 new animations and guys I know what you're saying chock Pro play sucked last year but I'm telling you guys right now Pro play is actually a really good addition to the game this year and you guys are going to love it the animation are so smooth and the same moves that you're doing on the game when you watch the TV later that night you're going to see those moves live you guys know how in NBA 2k 24 we had the four release cues jump set point push and release this year in NBA 2k2 you have the ability to choose your own custom shot queue guys you can quite literally set the timing to whatever you want for your visual queue this is going to allow you to memorize your time a lot easier and you should be able to shoot much more greens another feature that should help you guys shoot more greens is is the new Rhythm shooting Edition 2K 25 is introducing a brand new way to shoot called prostick rhythm shooting instead of simply just pressing X and releasing the button what you're going to do is you're going to start the shot by putting the shot stick down then you're going to flick it up when it's time to release this is going to give you two different timings and it should make your green window a lot bigger did you guys know that you could learn all of the best jump shots builds animations and everything that you need to know about NBA 2K 25 first and before all of your friends not to mention for free all you got to my player Builder now I know it looks similar to the previous my player Builder but this my player Builder has much more attributes for you guys to play with a lot of people wanted to make better builds and create more demigod likee builds and you now have that opportunity with the 2K 25 Builder on top of there being a new Builder there is also animation testing when you are done making your my player build in the Builder now last year when you made builds you weren't able to test them and you didn't know if it was going to be a good build or not until you actually upgraded it now you can test your build at 99 overall with whatever animations you want to choose this is going to save us time this is going to save us money and it's going to prevent us from making stupid builds that we will never actually use and don't end up being good it's a huge W by 2K and I cannot wait to test the build out for myself 2K also added a new shot cancelling feature and what this does is it allows you to break out of your moves at any time in chain into a new move there has already been some crazy instances of people using this feature and I think it's going to be something that's absolutely deadly in the right hands 2K has added several new shot timing features that you guys need to know about you have a lowrisk shooting difficulty based Real Player percentage and high risk shooting all of these have their pros and cons but it mostly caters to you as a player for my inexperienced players I would not recommend the highle shooting but if you consider yourself to be combat 2K make sure that you're using that highle shooting as it's going to give you guys the biggest boost possible if you're doing it correctly every year in 2K when you retire nothing would happen other than a cut scene in your player being inducted into the h of Fame but for the first time you actually get the orange jacket that Hall of Fame inductees get in real life and the cool part is you have the ability to wear this orange jacket into the my park with your friends get that orange jacket and flex it on your homies there is also a pre-order bonus guys if you guys buy the game and pre-order it before September 4th you are able to play the games 2 days earlier than everybody else the game officially dropped September 6th but with the pre-order bonus you can start playing September 4th at 8:00 a.m. eastern standard time and it is a global release this year guys it is not something where you can fly to New Zealand and play 2 hours early it's dropping at that time in all time zone similar to valorant in fortnite 2K is adding a new ranked Mode called The Proving Grounds where you are actually able to go through a ranked leaderboard system there are five different tiers bronze silver gold platinum and diamond and you guys are able to work your way through the ladder and when you do you get exclusive rewards like extra VC and even double rep it is absolutely worth grinding for and I myself have been wanting something like this for years so I am beyond excited 2K 25 also added a new stage for the first time in a long time and in this new stage the courts are much closer a lot of people in 2K in general have been complaining about the overall spacing of the park but NBA 2K 25 look to fix this and it's going to be a lot less running around this big Park and a lot more let's just get out there and hoop in the ranked mode the shot meters are completely off and if you guys know anything about shot meters this means that there will be no zening in the competitive game modes in NBA 2k2 NBA 2k2 also added a new feature called the squad finder and with this you are able to look for teammates based on the characteristics you want them to have you can sort by their skill level people that are looking to sweat people that are looking to be more chill if you have a microphone if you don't have a microphone this is a huge addition for the people out there that do not have anybody to play with 2K has finally given into the Nostalgia and they are giving us the old Parks from NBA 2K1 15 16 and 17 as seasonal events so throughout the seasons you will be able to play in Sunset Oldtown and rivet it is a really cool feature and what's even better is when this is in the game it is all double rep so you guys can scratch your nostalgic itch and get double rep in the
