young people coming from different provinces Uh Islands and and Uh regions of our country so now we have a around 48 of them Uh coming from around 18 Uh places of origin no Luzon besayas Mindanao and the different Islands around and um our Center has been Uh since 20011 so already 22 years in existence and Uh recently we organize a a camping for them as sa may dinggalan Aurora It's quite a a long travel of 5 hours Uh pero we had some stopovers sa aming mga cesan houses like Don Bosco Mabalacat Don Bosco Tarlac and We also took the opportunity to bring them to Monasterio the Tarlac and then Uh we proceeded to the place where we held our camping for Uh for 4 days we were back last night Uh almost at 11:00 no everybody tired but very happy and fulfilled for it is the first time that our puget Center had organized a camping Uh for them what I would like to highlight is we have come Up with the name of the camping which is adur jere a latin word since our Uh motto is empowered to S High mula sa pugad hanggang sa paglipad wala namang tumatagal sa pugad Ang mga ano mga inakay ang mga inakay they are being accompanied until they get into the real world so mula sa pugad Don bos pugad na in two years time in a way that they really be Uh empowered empowered to s High and so the Latin word Uh ad surgery and then Uh of course we are a community a family and therefore the importance of togetherness and Uh this means ad surgery is to surge to climb no to rise to rise up no um and therefore every time that this latin word is Uh exclaimed alere and then the campers will say together we rise no Okay so it's a slogan Uh to really imbe into themselves na Uh They they would One Day Uh come to rise no as they would undergo the program and activities during the Camp which is also connected to their day today life Uh there are a lot of details that transpired during the four days Camp and Uh Uh I'm sure They they have a lot of Uh pointers for reflection and for application in real life But why am I saying this because like in the first reading that we have heard Uh Moses as instructed by yahwe telling the people that they should love the Lord their God with all their Heart with all their Soul with older strength loving God it should be inv into themselves mahalin nila ang Diyos and therefore as a young growing jewish Uh person that This Be not only mental but Uh experience by them the Love of God Uh and the history of salvation is a wonderful portrayal of how God accompanied them Uh for all the Uh blessings favors and graces rendered to them so Moses instructed them and therefore it should come into their mind and get into the heart This is something that Uh we have to actualize ourselves into that's why our responsorial pm telling us I love you faith is it strong enough that's why the Lord subjects us into some test and for us to prove to God that we are not giving up not giving him up But rather that we continue Uh through toil and pain in good days and happy days that we continue to abide with him this Actually is relationship And that's why when Moses as for instruction by yahwe to really instill into their mind to that Love of God that loving God with all our heart with all our soul with all our strength This is our way to quantify the faith somebody may be very gifted intellectually and probably in few could abs all the biblical information thetic articles and details but if it doesn't s into the heart about the Love of God then it would not bear fruit it has to get into our hearts Heart Where the Lord wants to stay and it is in this way that we cultivate our faith and the more we get to know God then the stronger our faith becomes the Disciples who must have had their internship with the Lord and Uh Maybe it has It must have been designed That Way parang hindi ko mo very close ka sa isang tao that you can easily say kilala ko na yan but only through Experience of that person and Uh tayo We may be Uh pious and must attendant attendees and Dev boosted or devotional Uh practices but Uh the Lord will still wants to find out our trust in him our faith in him and Uh that us therefore put our minds This Love of God not only in our mind but in our heart That's why I was I initiated this Reflection when we had this cing of our boys surgery Together we rise parang kuma at the end of the M We always say B masa and the response is Sama happiness because of le we are a community No Man is an island as the lyrics would say and therefore we are corres possible to one another in our faith life in our growth life may we therefore bring into our minds Uh good thoughts especially from God from the scriptures so that it may sink into our hearts and apply them in our day today challenges and life and with this we would be able to express our love for God Believing and living up to his call may the Lord bless all our endeavors and Our intentions St John Bosco pray for us in prayer we now approach God the father
