Lane Kiffin Responds To Fake Saban "Narcissistic Prick" Quote That Took Over The Internet

say congratulations to us doing journalism while Hammer drunk there was a quote from Jimmy seon or from you about Lane kein uh what was it I've never made a quote about Lane kin so it wasn't from me how was that cuz om Miss might go this year this might be is going to be good and I'm telling you Lane is one of the best play callers in the country I mean he did a great job for us when he was with us and um guy always knows what to call next and he can take advantage of a defense as as well as anybody so there was uh fact of the matter true there was some quotes floating around the internet and who knows who created them like that that's literally how it kind of works on the internet now and if a couple people pick it up then they just assume that that person's accurate and then they'll pick it up as well and then all of a sudden everybody's reporting something that was maybe created by like Boner Garage 10 but Boner Garage 10 happened to get into somebody's feed which got into somebody that's legit feed and then the people that follow that feed that are either counter that person or on that person's side they run with it boom it becomes something this is the truth of the matter it's not but everybody who seen it and it's gone last week there was some conversation that Nick Sabin basically chewed Jimmy seon's ass out Jimmy seon's his agent and everybody's agent in college football which somebody should look into that it's it's pretty wild that story should be told but he told allegedly Nick Sabin told Jimmy sexon that uh Lan kin was the biggest narcissistic [ __ ] of all time and how how did Jimmy let him hire him and y y y so that was on the internet quote gone and Lane kein with the life that lane kein has lived very publicly that is something like yeah Sabin did say that people just automatically read it they see some people that are legit reporting it or posting it and then they just go on with their life thinking yeah that's something that's true then we ask Nick Nick Sabin about it he goes I've never said that in my entire life and then Jimmy sex I've never said that in my entire life then Lane kein was asked about it today at his press conference and here's how he handled it this past weekend he made a comment that lane is one of the best play calls in the country he can take advantage of the defense as well as anybody just your thoughts on your time in Alabama you may mention that you you pattern a lot of your program after Alabama yeah I mean as time continued to go on as you further removed I had even more appreciation for coach and um what he did for my career and taking a chance on me and then what I've learned from over 3 years every day there's some that that I pull from and you know he was asked about those comments and you know I think it's a shame when people make comments and they write things with quotation marks and then you know the coach or the agent says they've never been spoken to the writer about that subject so um I think that's why he was seemed kind of upset they they put those words to him or to Jimmy when both people say they never had that conversation never with either writer so this this is very similar to whenever and shout out to Brad Logan C there C te they're on your side uh for reporting this entire thing but it's like Lane keen's done this a few times did that to fine bomb now he's like he seems like he's in his mind I've let a lot of people get away with saying a lot of things over the years that kind of stops now also saw the Coke Zero next to him so uh I I do appreciate that uh out of the people from Coca-Cola but I appreciate that he addressed it and I appreciate that coach sa came out and spoke the way that he did about it all to kind of settle that thing but that kind of is uh an issue we have in our internet world that we're living right now yeah do we have any idea like where this originated from for like does anybody know is there a writer that we could credit it to and well that's normally the well I heard it from and we've you know we've certainly it's a shame because how do you how do these coaches know what to address and what you you can't just waste time addressing everything that's that's garbage and fake possibly but you yeah you don't want that out there if you're Savin definitely doesn't want that like hey no like I didn't if you didn't say it yet just a lot and misrepresented what was being which you know happens on a very regular basis with that particular group of people that you know could certainly find in a situation of a you know just everything they've done but then they post it but other people see them as legit I have no [ __ ] idea why I've no I honestly genuinely have no clue why anybody sees that as a legit operation but then they take it they see boom they just read the headline that wasn't accurate at all misleading mischaracterization of me uh pretty big shot across the bow at me as a human and then also at ESPN and then Al KCK grabs that they just don't even listen to the video post the same thing and then boom now you got those both things out there now obviously Al KCK reached out said we apologize and they took it down it's like you got this is the internet this this happens but it is like just a NeverEnding feels like it's a a dog tail situation happening on the internet and I have no idea and once again I'm a human that's just projecting issues that we have in society out without having an answer because I I don't know if there actually is an well everything don't you think for people it's obviously this just the world we live in right now with everything going on but and everyone is not going to do it but you would hope like okay okay with everything going on either you just don't believe anything that's ever said or everything that you you read or you're looking at you're like okay who said this when did they say is it possible this isn't true like do you have to at least think this is possible that maybe this person did not do that or say that but Lane kein sitting there like you know how many million people saw that and they're never going to recruits recruits everything yeah like everybody for real yeah and it's believable potentially believable you know about it just because of everything else that's been kind of said about Lane who we've known since what like you get a lot of those like uh blog websites that a shitload of people from the University go to and like they're started by fans but then they get all these quotes from I mean you know how many people are associated with like a major college football team so you get one of these you know uh Anonymous quotes from someone who who which could be nothing and it could be like a a rival school or a school in the conference and I feel like those just spread like wildfire and like they've kind of ended up being like not like you know newspapers and stuff like that but like these people who started them who are just massive diard fans like they end up being looked at like you know like they're like the Arbiter of Truth when it comes to these programs and it's like that shit's super dangerous too cuz almost every single school has one of these yeah it's a wild time to be alive mhm 2024 football brother hey yeah we're thriving though let's remember that it's good to be here blame you got to have a much more skeptical eye but not everybody does which is why whenever something gets shown to I don't know a couple million people they're probably just going to believe it and even if you post a video whatever you caption is probably what people are going to believe people AR watching the so whenever you misrepresent an entire video take something out of context and try to character assassinate people which one account has done more so than anybody like people aren't watching the video well the video is I stole the video and posted it as well I mean I could have posted a video but instead I ripped it myself so that I get credit for it because my company is [ __ ] and I don't own anything and you post it it's like you stole the video you mischaracterized it you knew people weren't going to watch it and you're making a business out of it it's like that's not just that particular case with me there's a lot of there's a lot of places that are it's a wild time hey
