the chesi and the team has been playing very efficiently I'm curious and you said this week is a great practice we I'm curious is there some specifics that you can share that you worked on to improve that efficiency in practice and also for you personally and your staff what have you done to improve how you call the game or manage the game not every Sunday you know we watch the game film and it's okay what are the things that we're doing really well right now and then what are the things that um you know we'd like to improve upon and I I think one of the one of the mistakes coaches can make um is you only focus on the areas that you're not doing well and you you put all this time and energy into what you're not doing well and you might get that right you might get that fixed you know and then that's I say it all the time like you you get what you emphasize as a coach but then all of a sudden those other things that you were doing well start to slip and and start not to not to be as good because you didn't give them the attention they deserve too so what I what I tend to do is focus on the things that we're doing really well at the same time work on some of the areas that I know we can improve upon and so I want to continue to build confidence into our players that man we're doing all this stuff really good here's another area where if we get this right look out and so that's kind of the mindset and that that's whether that's scheme whether that's a technique or fundamental at specific positions whether that's play calling whatever that looks like uh but we're very transparent and open with our players about here's what we're doing good here's what we're going to try to work on some to continue to work on that to get it better um and naturally hopefully that's where the growth continues to go throughout a season
