AJ was upset with Smitty? all right so I'm seeing this video float around and I'm assuming it's just appearing on my algorithm for some reason and shout out to the person that sent this to my email but there's a video of saquin Barkley as we know he broke off for like 30 40 yards or whatever and it look like AJ snapped on Devonte Smith I just don't believe that's the case I think what it was is that AJ was a little upset with himself that he lost leverage on the Block and the defender end up catching saquin Barkley something that could have been a touchdown cuz even during the post game he's like man you was supposed to have four of them things like he knew like man if I if I just got to that Defender faster or the defender didn't break off that block saquin would have got a touchdown so I think he probably just went up to Smitty like man that was on me man I wish I would have got that guy he was in up in the moment and you could see SM probably like ah man it is what it is based on the body language to me now people see it negatively saying like oh Devonte Smith looked down and AJ looked like he's snapping on him I don't see it that way I believe AJ was like man man oh man if I eyes off of and the Eagles win over Green Bay was rookie first round pick quinan Mitchell This is the first third down of the game first third down of his career he's attacked vertically by one of the most dangerous height weight speed receivers in football and Christian Watson and there is no Panic to quinan Mitchell's game he's able to impact the receiver get his eyes back to to the football look lean and let the receiver know about it after the fact this was big time from quinan Mitchell his first real test in the NFL but it didn't stop there because Green Bay wanted to continue to push that button and test them test him over and over again here you're going to get a little stutter before the crossing route in the Red Zone he plasters that route takes away the throw from quarterback Jordan Love Again take a look at the receiver say no you're not getting that for me top of the screen you're going to get another route vertically down the field this time from the receiver in motions they're hoping by sneaking him out there late that he's not going to see it but Mitchell's got great eye discipline he takes away the throw from Jordan love forces the check down that's nearly picked off underneath again Mitchell at the top of the screen we're going to try and run the vertical route at you and then come at you underneath with the corner route no we're not having that he breaks on the throw this was one of my favorites he lets ran Gary know about it on the sideline the rookie came to play in this game against Green Bay and it happened time and time again was it perfect no of course there were things to improve on but whether it was gadget Play like this one the failed Flea Flicker for Green Bay early in the second half or if they were just trying to test his eye discipline with vertical routes and then trying to sneak things underneath quinan Mitchell was not having it for the majority of this game I love the route recognition the eye discipline we saw him make these plays from off coverage time and time again during his time in Toledo Quan Mitchell an excellent debut for this Eagles defense I Back to Quinyon disciplined I mean he was tested and tested and tested talk to his jump yo I even realized after the all 22 came out when he was on the sideline it looked like he was speaking to like the offensive coordinator or something like that like nah this ain't it big dog this ain't it y'all better find somebody else to test him boy did they find somebody else to test and lante Maddis so Quon is a baller he's the real deal now they're there's
